Graham Berry is repping me. He says that he won't even know what the complaint says exactly until a prosecutor is assigned. So it's the waiting that's keeping me up nights (he says as dawn breaks and the liquor store sounds like a better bet than bed). He says unless they pull some Paulette Cooper shit, it's a pretty weak case. I spent the last 6 days freaking out over it so I'm trying to let it go til he can get the 'discovery' file. I mean it's not like I'm reallly like Rorschach and go around dispatching bad guys in the middle of the night. I've got a mouth on me, I'm not PC, I like to troll people by saying things like "Osama is the new Che" but I'm pretty much just a cynical, snarky, misanthrope (who loves kitteh and mudkip)...Mainly, I'm like Greg House without the sweet job.

PeTA is not the organization to bawww to about Mudkips - they kill feral cats all of the time, while running "no-kill" shelters. If there's any association to bawww to, it would be the ASPCA, but good luck with that. Humane societies have a hard enough time keeping their doors open and heads above water without playing cloak-and-dagger with a bunch of scifags.

However: REPORT EACH AND EVERY PET DEATH. Most city animal shelters are run by the local police department and often, they share record systems. It's to the point where in order to even get a desk job in a shelter, you have to have a pretty decent background check run.

Just keep the word of mouth going, blog about it, post shit to LiveJournal, MySpace, all dem places. Make a big stink about it. Post Caturday pictures, fuck, even appeal to the LOLcats fags. Just don't shut up about it.

I've gotten a friend to made a report on this at Operation Mock, FW's spinoff Anonymous supporters group. Us fanbitches love our cats, you know.

You should also know that many, many readers have announced they have been inspired to join the movement as a result of your plight. People are very angry about Mudkips and the way you and the other outed Anons have been treated, Rorschach. We even have reports of people's coworkers, roommates and classmates being moved to take up the mantle of Anon.

You are right of course. I have no proof that Scifags did it....and no body for an autopsy/police report.

I was talking with Tory about it and she said they're not all evil monsters. She said there's no official policy on using animal abuse as a tactic and that many of the people she knew were big animal lovers and thus not to assume shit like many people say is this (malevolent) or that (assholes) about Anon.

That said, I'm sure they're getting really desperate right now because every move we make is WIN and everything they have countered with is FAIL so I'm not gonna give them the benefit of the doubt....especially after the fiasco that was the LA protest on 3/15 with the off-duty cops hired to squash our protest permit.

Also, even if it was some asshole neighbourhood kids who saw the YouTube and thought it would be lulzy to fuck with my head after looking up my address, I blame the 'church' for putting the spotlight on me. And for using my grief and fear for the other cats and myself -given their record with SPs/Fair Game- as a way to push my buttons (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaslighting).

I still don't know if my charges stem from the pics of my guns or the Tuesday protest (where I flipped the obligatory Scifag 'paparazzi' the bird after a snide comment). Neither warrant the charges so I'm actually scared they've fabricated something else a la Paulette Cooper to have a DA agree to file charges.

I can assure you all that I have done nothing illegal or even questionable that might hurt our rep and control of the higher ground save for maybe running my mouth on IRC in moments of frustration (you can't spell Anon without a /b/). I know a lot of you think the gun pic was stupid and/or wrong; I do in retrospect...but I'm only human (or Teegeack) and am faced with an opponent -a criminal enterprise- with no ethics and no concept of fair play. Al Qaeda is more honourable than the terrorist criminal enterprise doing business as a religion.

Either way, the video 'outings' + their M.O. (and history of Fair Game) + a couple of my base human instinct/weaknesses (animal abuse) = baiting...fishing for Anon's dark side.

Whatever...I feel like I let Anon down in a way -for taking the bait- and then acting out as expected.

Nerve wracking I can understand. But remember, up until now the best thing they've been able to pull out of their ass was a video that was too high def and widescreen for its own good. I'm willing to bet you a legal fee they won't have the capability to pull another Freakout, they would have done it already. They might have thought they could ride out 2/10 but considering the amount of information getting out they would have done it to Jenna a long time ago if they felt it necessary. If I'm wrong I'll cover your expenses...partially. Just run your mouth off about Operation Freakout and Fair Game, hopefully I'll even be on your jury. Even if they give you the death penalty your final words will ensure it was never worthwhile for them

Going after individual anons is simply a way to spread fear in the ranks of opponents. It's a fairly simple idea:

If you can't shutdown a large organization, go after individual members. While the group will react with anger at the few who are caught, the hope is to spread enough fear that people will be discouraged from participating and/or will dropout of the group.

After all, how many people want to be one of those who gets Fair Gamed?

But if the internets haven't lied to me, I saw bail at $50,000? Sounds like serious business (felony). Definitely the gun pic and not flipping the bird.

What you said is essentially the castle/stand your ground defense. It isn't a threat, rather a warning. You announced an intent to use deadly force to defend against potential unlawful entry or attack of yourself or on your property; evidenced by Scientologys history of Fair Game and the all coincidental death of Mudkips. But no such doctrine exists in California. However, under the charge you have, the court still must look at context which is completely on your side.

The real bottom like is all of this is made to be a legal hassle. Scilawyers know the courts will look at this case and end up dropping it but they also know it is great intimidation.

We all grieve both at your loss of Mudkipz, as well as the false allegations that have been lodged against you. Although this is nothing more than a "pat on the back" letter- I just want you to know that the 5.00 I have left in my PayPal Discretionary funds is going towards any legal fund we can start for you. Also, I remember seeing this on here somewhere... at all of the possible entrances to your house place a small pebble or something else that will be displace when moved and take a picture of it. That way, if your house is violated in anyway- You have evidence for the police, as well as time to get your domestic cat to the vet if need be. Id also suggest a cheap webcam for surveillance...

Anyway, I was up all night (again) trying to make sense of this whole arrest/Fair Game thing. It really has changed the nature of the 'game' for me; now it's personal. The whole thing is just so surreal. If there's any oldfags who remember the Seinfeld episode where Kramer ends up winning a Tony by mistake...that's what it feels like. I mean, putting my name in teh google always yielded a fair amount of hits because of my career but now the results are...well...hilarious (in a perverse kid of way). Anonymous terrorist one minute...IMBd the next.

Despite reading about Fair Game etc and all their targets/victims I just never thought anything like that would happen to me. I'm so insignificant in the grand scheme of things they must be really desperate to try and make me the "Osama bin Laden of Anonymous" as Graham put it. WTF are they thinking (apart from the impending Marcab Confederacy invasion)? It's not being 'unmasked' or anything like that that's tripping me out; I said from the start that if Anon needed to show a face or use a name for, say, NPR I was available. I suppose I'm just 'uncomfortable' with the sudden, unexpected attention. Someone called my mum in a small town in England cos they'd seen something on the Internets and she doesn't have a compy so she's all freaked out and trying to find me.

True, I was one of several local Anons who ended up with a walky-talky on 2/10 but I couldn't even use it for the first few hours cos I didn't have the code to unlock it. The thing is, even though we don't really have any leaders per se, some Anons have definitely stepped up and organically become 'leaders' because of their passion and dedication for Project Chanology and innate organisational skills. I am not one of them!

As an oldfag Punk Rock idealist/activist of the Joe Strummer ilk, I've become largely apathetic about the state of the world in general and disillusioned with the effectiveness of protesting anything peacefully -especially in America. Besides, I had (have) a boat load of my own problems that I really should be attending to before attempting to save the world from Scientology nutters. Plus, I'm really fucking lazy.

Ironically, I'd kinda handed in my 'leave of absence' notice to Anon's HR dept. It read -in part- "brb, need IRL munniez". Seriously, I was going to quit /b/ and ED and all the light side of the Internets and go over to the dark side: start lurking moar on monster.com etc. But I guess my job driving trucks for Haliburton in Baghdad will have to wait til after the DA's office gets done being ripped a new arsehole in the LA Times OpEd pages for wasting tax payers' money.

In lighter news this Easter w/end...Mudkips has arisen! I've decided to rename one of my other ferals Mudkips in his memory. He was called Muggles before so hopefully he won't be too confused. He's been lurking around a lot more now he's the only male and is hot for the cute female, Evey, that recently found the jungle in back of my house.

Yup....it's a felony charge and yup $50,000 bail. Unless they've fabricated something from one of my numerous email accounts (and I had a suspect email I answered to one of my accounts that I didn't think much about at the time) then they have nothing. I'm pretty sure the cops wouldn't have let me go if they really thought there was anything to this. And when the detective from Major Case came to interview me, it was perhaps unrelated but saw an opportunity to talk to 'a leader' of Anon (per the Co$ pix they'd sent provided as 'proof') and gauge the threat. I think I represented well in the interview and was clear in explaining our goals (peaceful protest, removal of tax exemption, RICO investigation) and cited Operation Freakout, Snow White and Fair Game as reason enough that our protest is just and the dangers we face by going up against this cult. all of this was noted.

Thing is, like most of us, we didn't know how dangerous this racket is cos somehow it's slipped under the radar for all these years.

Bottom line: I've made no threats against anyone. The only way you could be threatened by the pic of my guns, is if you intended to burglarise or otherwise illegally enter my house to threaten my life or that of my cat.

Rather than spam up the thread by answering everyone individually, I just want to say thank you all for the support on the love. I'm not gonna lie, it's been really rough keeping it together; one moment I'm certain that the C0$ bullshit will be seen for what it is and thrown out...the next I'm thinking about all the innocent people who end up in jail.

As I've said before, the main thing is not knowing the exact details of the charge, who made it and what 'proof' they have. I'll have to wait for the 9th for that and just try and live by the advice that I would give someone else in this situation...don't go crazy over shit you have no control over.

In the meantime, I'm going to keep on helping out where I can and contribute towards the planning of our next big win.

I'm also looking forward to when the press gets hold of this. I wasn't planning on being a martyr, I just wanted to stand up and be counted in this historic moment in activism and Internets history for a righteous cause.

Also, whoever made "Message To Scientology" has a lot to answer for. If you are reading this /b/rother or s/i/ster: I salute you!

Since our first EPIC WIN on 2/10 and on...seeing all the footage and pix all over OUR Internets, the main thing that stands out time and time again is our sense of humour. I've talked to Tory about this and she agreed. She said within the 'church' they actively discouraged lulz. L. Ron saw at as a weakness for some reason. They have already lost. Without a sense of humour you are over. Lulz >anti-lulz every time.

Co$ can't delay the 9th. It's my arraignment. I'll go in front of a judge a plead not guilty and a trial date will be set. Unless the assistant DA assigned to the case sees that it's a waste of money, an embarrassment and won't pass muster in front of a jury. In this case, they may offer me a deal to reduce the charges to a misdemeanour something or other or use me as a test case tha Co$ can alter the course as my accuser. Thing is...if it is about the guns, the NRA may be all up in that shit.
