    I saw the counter-claim steps and decided instead of following it to the letter, I just e-mailed them of the situation, at cacopyright@youtube.com. Looks like TheEvilOfScientology did the same thing through ukcopyright@youtube.com. Hopefully something good can come out of this.

    Yup, that's why I didn't follow it to the letter. I just told them about the situation without giving away personal info.

    Don't think this will matter because they follow the rules just for their own protection. Would be bad for Youtube if he is able to produce rights. :hc:
    What happen if he can present the licenses for the content because OSAchaoer has been selective. Can we get fucked by this move? :flop:

    How about contacting the news agencies and informing them that a 3rd party is trying to file a copyright claim on those videos?

    It's news, and I doubt that the news agencies would have an issue with the clips being on YT.

    Perhaps they would be angry that a porn peddler is trying to keep their material from being shared on the internet?

    This is a good idea. I wonder how they'd like hearing that a gay porn entrepreneur scifag is claiming copyright over their news footage. That said, I wouldn't worry about being censored by this fucker. They've tried this before with the Cruise vid, and I'm sure we all remember how that turned out.

    For those oschaper used his porn company Media House Enterprises to take down videos, I did some asking around and here are instructions to report incorrectly removed videos without namefagging yourself:

    1. Go to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

    2. Select "Report abuse", "General policy inquiry", and click on
    "Continue".

    3. Click on "My video was removed".

    4. At the bottom of the text, click on "contact us".

    5. Fill out the form. For the "Issue", select "My video was
    incorrectly removed".

    Although not as strong as a counterclaim, it's the next best thing in my opinion.

    At the risk of sounding OSA, I think we may have brought this on ourselves.

    In the beginning he was just leaving comments on our vids and being abusive. True, he did also make the mistake of coming on here to have a go at us. HOWEVER, dropping his dox has really heated things up and was perhaps a bit premature, he is now so pissed at that, he knows we have called his bluff on the 'legal action', therefore the only thing he can do is to report all our videos for copyright infringement.

    I wouldn't worry though, with the sheer amount of claims he is putting in, even YouTube aren't stupid enough to not realise he's taking the piss....

    Are you sure that he is not trying to gather information for his lawsuit? How many people have been hit? Could it be that this is part of his plan? You need to have the real name and address of the defendant and file the cliam at local court and using Youtube to get hold of them would be smart if the people he is hitting are filling counter-claims.

    Okay guys, I just left a thread on the YT Feedback and Suggestions forum, I suggest you add your own two cents to it. Also I suggest anyone affected by this leave a warning note to their staff in your YT profile, alerting them to the situation.

    Hmmm... The new version of the oschaper video (the same I uploaded on vimeo) was just removed. Part of the YT email::

    Can't seem to find much info about the Content Factory. Perhaps the music was the problem? Having it removed nowwwwwww :)
