I blame the US gun lobby, which is directly funded by a proportion of gun sales.

This couldn't have happened in any other civilized country, because the US is the only one where you can buy a gun that allows one person to kill 53 people.

  13. No. Wrong.

Islamic terrorism was the motivation behind this attack.

Islamic terrorism is a worldwide problem.

It was perpetrated by a true believer of the zombie death Cult of Muhammed.
ISIS is taking credit for this massacre.

It happened recently at the Bataclan theatre in Paris. Remember that one??

Orlando gay club shooter called 911, pledging allegiance to ISIS - officials | RT America

Omar Seddique Mateen, the man suspected of killing 50 people in an Orlando gay club, called police before the attack, swearing allegiance to ISIS, Florida state officials have confirmed. The connection is still being investigated.

Mateen also reportedly namechecked the Chechen brothers, responsible for the Boston Marathon Bombing of 2013.

"During a conference call with federal law enforcement officials a short time ago, Massachusetts State Police and other local law enforcement authorities learned that the Orlando nightclub gunman, during his rampage, pledged allegiance to ISIS and referenced the Tsarnaev brothers," state police spokesman David Procopio said in an e-mail seen by Reuters.

    The Quran's Verses of Violence

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

Unlike nearly all of the Old Testament verses of violence, the verses of violence in the Quran are mostly open-ended, meaning that they are not restrained by historical context contained in the surrounding text (although many Muslims choose to think of them that way). They are part of the eternal, unchanging word of Allah, and just as relevant or subject to interpretation as anything else in the Quran.

The context of violent passages is more ambiguous than might be expected of a perfect book from a loving God. Most contemporary Muslims exercise a personal choice to interpret their holy book's call to arms according to their own moral preconceptions about justifiable violence. Their apologists cater to these preferences with tenuous arguments that gloss over historical fact and generally do not stand up to scrutiny. Still, it is important to note that the problem is not bad people, but bad ideology.

Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to balance out the many that call for nonbelievers to be fought and subdued until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are killed. Muhammad's own martial legacy, along with the remarkable stress on violence found in the Quran, have produced a trail of blood and tears across world history.

Republicans are erasing LGBTQ people from their own tragedy | Slate

In the wake of the mass shooting at Pulse, an LGBTQ nightclub in Orlando, Florida, both Republican and Democratic politicians took to Twitter to express their condolences. Because the massacre appears to have targeted sexual minorities, this created a somewhat surreal effect: The sight of GOP politicians — some of the same ones who have devoted much of their careers fighting to deprive gays of their civil rights — sympathizing with the very people whom they have long bashed in a bid for conservative votes.

The Father of the Orlando Shooter Recently Visited Congress, State Department, Writes Open Letters To President Obama

Little is known about the personal life of Omar Mateen, the man who pledged allegiance to ISIS before butchering more than 50 people inside an Orlando nightclub early Sunday morning, but his political activist father, who is running for President of Afghanistan, seems to have an odd relationship with the U.S. Government and sympathies toward the Taliban.
Here is what we know about the Orlando shooter’s father:
His name is Seddique Mateen and he is from Afghanistan.

Mateen told NBC News early on Sunday that his son became angry while seeing two men kiss.

“We were in Downtown Miami, Bayside, people were playing music, and he saw two men kissing each other in front of his wife and kid and he got very angry. They were kissing each other and touching each other and he said, ‘Look at that. In front of my son they are doing that.’ And they we were in the men’s bathroom and men were kissing each other.’”
Mateen has his own television show, which broadcasts out of California.

It is called the “Durand Jirga Show” and features Mateen discussing Middle Eastern politics. The show is posted on YouTube.
According to the Washington post, the show demonstrates the Orlando shooters father’s sympathetic views toward the Taliban:

In one video, Mateen expresses gratitude toward the Afghan Taliban, while denouncing the Pakistani government.
“Our brothers in Waziristan, our warrior brothers in [the] Taliban movement and national Afghan Taliban are rising up,” he said. “Inshallah the Durand Line issue will be solved soon.”
This April, Mateen was in Washington DC doing advocacy work with Congress and the State Department

Seddique Mateen is an effusive poster on social media. The following posts from his Facebook describe a trip to Washington DC in April. He can be seen posing in front of State Department offices & the Democratic Foreign Services Committee offices.

The captions on the above photos roughly translate to Mateen describing how he is advocating for U.S. intervention between Pakistani and Afghan fighters on the border of both countries. One caption in English reads: “We have the duty to tell the world that Pakistan is the killer of Afghan people.”
It is not clear who he personally met with in Washington D.C.

In the above post, Mateen describes meetings with the Foreign Relations Committee and his attendance at a hearing for Afghanistan security.
He also posed for a photo in this mock Presidential Briefing Room

Mateen has met with prominent members of Congress on past trips to Washington D.C.

These posts from 2015 show Mateen with Reps Charlie Rangel, Dana Rohrabacher and Ed Royce. Royce is the Chairman of the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Mateen is currently running for President of Afghanistan

    Credit: facebook.com/seddique.mateen
Mateen regularly describes his campaign to become President of Afghanistan in posts on Facebook. According to the Washington Post, he announced his candidacy on his YouTube show:
The most recent video on Mateen’s YouTube channel shows him declaring his candidacy for the Afghan presidency. The timing of the video is strange, as it came a year after presidential elections were held in Afghanistan.
Mateen believes people are trying to get into the U.S. to kill him

A post from the first of June says this:
Mateen regularly posts bold messages to the U.S. military and President Obama

These messages include statements about the Taliban, suicide bombers, and violence in the region.
In March, Mateen had also been granted a corporate license by the State of Florida to operate his group called The Provisional Government of Afghanistan.

Independent Journal Review has emailed and called Mateen for comment. This is a breaking story and will be updated.
  18. The Left Chose Islam Over Gays.

Now 100 People Are Dead Or Maimed In Orlando

    by Milo12 Jun 20161925

Over 100 people have been killed or maimed at a gay dance club in Orlando by Omar Mateen, a Muslim terrorist. How many more innocent gays need to die before we admit that America, and the world, has an Islam problem?

I don’t mean a “radical Islam” problem or an “extremist Islam problem.” Violence is not the extreme in Islam any more: it’s the norm. The public’s patience for comments like the one below, from the dimwitted lesbian Sally Kohn, are wearing thin. As for mine, it’s long since run out.
Obama’s response to the tragedy today was similarly limp-wristed. He made no mention of Islam or Muslims, instead condemning “hate and terror” and taking a brazen swipe at gun rights activists by noting “how easy it is to let people get their hands on a weapon.”
He didn’t even address the uniquely homophobic character of the attack. What a good liberal!
There’s no more room for equivocating. The Orlando shooting isn’t just the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. shores since 9/11. It is also, by far, the worst act of violent homophobia in the nation’s history and the deadliest mass shooting in America ever.
According to the murderer’s father, his son became angry after he saw two men kissing in the street. “This had nothing to do with religion,” said the father, Seddique Mateen. “He saw two men kissing each other in front of his wife and kid and he got very angry” — as if that was some kind of excuse.

That same father is on record defending the Taliban.

  26. This is Muslim hate speech:
Gays Must Die Says Speaker At Orlando Mosque - WFTV 9 Orlando Report

In fact, an imam speaking in Orlando in April said that killing gays according to Islamic law should be done "out of compassion":
  27. How come you don't feel we should all discuss Muslims on a day in which the largest mass shooting in U.S. history was carried out by a Muslim?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

    Deflection, perhaps?
    Ah, yes it is.
  28. White Tara Global Moderator

No, you one eyed eedjit. This thread was bumped as troll bait for someone else. Thanks for fucking shit up yet again. So run along now and try not to start at shadows, thereby ruining the fun and games of others
  29. YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT.
  30. White Tara Global Moderator

You are a retard seriously, you have no idea what shit goes on here behind the scenes. It may never have occurred to you but there are actually more 'bad guys' in the world than just the radical Islamic element. Keep your damn bigoted crap in the correct threads, and recognize this place is not all about you and your agenda for once.
    Other fish to fry.
