you know just for the hell of it I went on QVC and looked at what they had under weight loss and diet plans. The only thing they had was some kind of fit cards by Julian Michaels or whatever her name is and some diet food by a Dr. Tabor that had very high ratings and the stuff looked half way decent. Tabor's items were not crappy shit that you drink that has ingredients that were never professionally tested like Krusty's. It was actual food So Krusty is the only one that has a complete CRAP snake oil product. Which only has a three star rating
That's because the FTC came down hard on QVC 2 years ago & they had to cough up some serious money to resolve the case. "“QVC aired ads that weren’t true and violated an FTC order,” said Eileen Harrington, Acting Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. “Simply put, we aren’t going to let QVC get away with this. The company is responsible for the product claims made on its programs, and we expect that going forward, QVC will do a better job for its audience and make sure that its programs are truthful and not deceptive.” FTC is talking about a number of products sold on the cable home shopper, including For Women Only weight-loss pills; Lite Bites weight-loss food bars and shakes; and Bee-Alive Royal Jelly energy supplements; and Lipofactor Cellulite Target Lotion. It will cost the $7.5M in settlement, with $6M going toward consumer redress and a $1.5M civil penalty. The issue between FTC and QVC was filed in a federal district court on 3/4/04." http://www.rbr.com/media-news/washington-beat/13610.html
It's getting alot of crappy reviews with some positive thrown in (probably from her adoring Scilon fans). http://reviews.qvc.com/1689/A217444...iaison-weight-loss-system-reviews/reviews.htm
wow thanks Smurf! It really makes me wonder why they decided to sell Krusty crap then. Especially that her crap has not gone through any clinical tests and certainly was not the reason why she dropped all that weight from March to May It SO worth pooning them now!
People are so incredibly stupid. The diet she sells advocates 1200 calories per day. Anyone can lose weight eating 1200 calories per day. Wow - rocket science.
no no!! It's the gloopus that she sells that works honestly! Just LOOK at how much weight she has dropped carrying around her bottle of red crap in just three months. Some people think that 1200 calories a day and exercising for hours a day and forgetting to eat was the reason why Krusty dropped so many pounds. Simply not so! It was the magical ingredients in her Ogasmic Lemur Juice. Of course her products have never been clinically tested for long term health effects or tested to see if they actually work... it doesn't matter! She's a star!! 'Cause Krusty says it works! That's good enough for QVC obviosuly! *sarcasm*
As a matter of fact... If you get the chemicals she used, you can get the plants and herbs. Herbs are way more cheap sometimes than expensive medications, and usually taste better than some pills. So,you just need to work out which kind of herbs she tried to mix. But,I will not trust her...something tells me she just used some grass from her backyard filled with dog poop and then mixed it with a rotten frog from last thursday.
To be fair to Krustie, Organic Liaison works like any other fad diet if you follow them without any deviation, that is, not worry about what effects the diets have on one's health. If one wanted to lose weight, all they'd have to do is stop eating.. period. You might die of starvation, but hey, you've lost weight. So, if a bunch of bozos wanted to spend their hard-earned dollars on Krustie's flavored herbal water, it's their money and their loss.
^ ...you know guys, losing weight is actually annoying. Specially if you have an hormonal problem. So,yeah,I hate Kursty Alli and her stupid Orgiastic Loompas. Trying to replace real medication or real medical advice (even if you want to drink herbs and plants like a mad chinese) with this kind of crap is the reason of why many people can't lose weight or anything. Just go to a doctor, work a diet with him, make some blood exams to see if it's not hormonal, and that's it. IT'S NOT THAT FUCKING HARD,STOP BUYING THIS SHIT...! >:C Guys,seriously...guys.
and the cult's gain and yes people are always looking for a miracle in a bottle and a quick fix. But most fad diets or snake oil diets or whatever you want to call them are not funding a cult.
Says you. I was on a medically supervised diet last Fall.. lost 40 lbs and got very sick & dehydrated and ended up putting the weight back on again. I don't know of one overweight person that said losing weight isn't hard... IT SUCKS BALLS!!!
I'm actually talking about going to a doctor to work your weight out. Not relaying on fad diets and snakeoil a la Organic Laissooooooon. It's really that hard to go to a doctor, make some blood exams to discard hormone problems, and work on a diet that suits you? Sure, you can use the phone, order some Organic LIEson and wait for it to work while you want to barf every time you take it. You can also blow your brains off
There maybe more scions selling their "quality merchandise". Make some fake labels and place them over their products "WARNING: This product is endorsed by an evil cult!".
Almonds are the most nutritious of all nuts, even after they're scratched. http://www.nutsforalmonds.com/nutrition.htm
Shifting weight's bloody hard work. If it were easy then there wouldn't be any fatties in the world. Thing is people will waste money on Kirstie's snake oil and get pissed off when they don't drop any weight so best she gets on with it.
its either all or nothing on the reviews! ...just like Camelot! Orgasmic Leapers its magically deliciously!
She had said that she'd lost 60 pound BEFORE DWTS. What I am having trouble believing is that she only lost 10 pounds with all that dancing. Dancing is extremely hard work, especially for the hours they all put int. Somewhere, the numbers aren't adding up, but I am her height, and I can believe she's lost 70 lbs. The truth is somewhere in the middle, methinks.
Funny how RO still falls for Herro's nonsense. tl;dr When Herro is trolling you, do not try to justify yourself. Either troll it back or just ignore it.
exactly. the numbers dont' add up. I am not saying that she didn't lose the weight, I am saying that the advertisement for QVC is deceptive because she really started to drop the pounds FAST after she joined DWTS. It had nothing to do with her snake oil. I think she lost weight before DWTS, but not 60 pounds worth. She was "spanxing" herself up and did lose weight, but not 60 pounds. The weight really started to fly off her after dancing and starving herself, and forgetting to eat. She said so herself. I still think there may have been some sort of surgical procedure done.
Dancing With The Stars: Kirstie Alley Is Packing On The Pounds Again Also covers the dress-size dispute. And mentions her sad love-life (see recently kicked her boytoy to the curb)
