Apologies, I have been looking for the thread on this but cannot find it.

I don't think it is a terribly good idea for Anonymous to declare war on jihadists because it might mean that when they gather in numbers to protest Scientology then some people representing Al-Queda or IS might drive by and riddle them with bullets from an AK-47. That wouldn't be "caek" at all! :(

Doesn't it say in the Anonymous Constitution somewhere that all important messages addressed to the worldwide organisation have to be given in American English?

I'm happy to translate if needs be. I have already made a point of re-translating the message to my FB friends and friends of my friends as a monumental mistake was made by The Telegraph newspaper.
    They translated 'Detruire' as 'tuer'....

Anyhow, I don't see the message ANONYMOUS broadcasted as a declaration of war against IS but as a RESPONSE to a declaration of war FROM IS!
    They started this war.

Anonymous declared war on Islamic extremists Friday and promised to take revenge for the attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hedbo.
In a video posted on YouTube, the group of hackers said they would track down websites and social media networks linked to terrorists, and take them down.
"We, Anonymous around the world, have decided to declare war on you the terrorists," it said.
The video is described as a message for "al Qaeda, the Islamic State and other terrorists," and promises to avenge the killing of 12 people in Wednesday's attack.
"We intend to take revenge in their name, we are going to survey your activities on the net, we are going to shut down your accounts on all social networks," Anonymous said
Cherif and Said Kouachi, the brothers wanted for the massacre at Charlie Hedbo's offices in Paris, were killed Friday by French security forces in a town where they had been surrounded, according to a local official.
Said spent several months in Yemen in 2011, receiving weapons training and working with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, U.S. officials said Friday.
His younger brother Cherif was sentenced to three years in prison for being part of a jihadist recruitment ring in Paris that sent fighters to join the conflict in Iraq.
An ISIS radio broadcast Thursday praised the attackers, calling them "brave jihadists." But the broadcast did not say whether the two had any connection to the militant group.
The attack has prompted an outpouring of solidarity, with thousands joining rallies in defense of freedom of speech and republishing many of the magazine's most controversial cartoons -- including of the Prophet Mohammed.
Anonymous has hacked websites belonging to government departments, companies and other organizations. The loose collective is also known for supporting the Occupy movement.

British Sky News has been an example of quality journalism.
They made their program available live streaming on You Tube.
    It's running now...

I thought the SKYnews UK coverage was thorough and fair. I say fair because it was free of opinion, they just stated facts. Unlike the BBC news coverage.

The BBC seem to think it is paramount to bring in the opinions of pseudo- politicians and that of random opinionated fools with the aim to brainwash the nation one way or another and/or create division.

My thoughts, exactly.... I preferred to watch Sky News coverage over CNN.

There's a BBC radio program that is broadcast internationally late in the evening here on one station, and that show is a quality production, but I tend to miss it because of the late timing.

Hi! ... This is my first post ever on your site. Not only am I not a hacker, but I have the computer skills of a Styrofoam cup. That's why I go by "Dinosaur" ... the kind of person who's smartphone is smarter than he is. Anyhow...
I was so thrilled when I saw the news that the Anonymous dudes (and dudettes, too) declared war on these murderers. What I'm going to say next is directed at those of you who really are with Anonymous and really are hacking these imbeciles and others in the name of social justice ... If I could, I'd buy every one of you a shot and a beer, shake your hand, or give you a hug. I respect you people tremendously. You know how to use an extremely powerful tool ... but instead of using it to rip people off or instigate evil for evil's sake alone, you use it to fight injustice. My hat's off to all of you. No joke, when I saw the announcement I found and joined the site immediately. They're getting a donation from me, too. I love the beautiful irony of this ... the very name of the group "Anonymous" suggests that I'll never know who any of them are. And my dinosaur computer skills will ensure that I'll probably never know if the people running this site are even really with Anonymous themselves. I don't care. I know that there has to be some real Anonymous people in here. To them, I say again ... I salute you.

  24. Who's to say the attack was really from jihadists? From what I l've gathered, the cop who was allegedly shot in the head wasnt really shot in the head. There was no blood, no recoil, nothing. If possible can someone clear this up. Was it a false flag or not?

Muslim terrorists murdered several innocent people in France.

Videos, from ANONYMOUS(or are they?) keep popping up
    this one from Australia?

This one, don't know where from:

Another French one: with a good go at President Hollande in the process

Can anyone shed some light as to whether they are hoaxes or not? Thanks :)

But then there is this one from some tech programme on French TV, an interview with a Anonymous member apparently, from Sept 2014?

    This is getting very confusing!!!

  34. Unfortunately, it appears that most Muslims are OK with the idea that anyone who "denigrates" the "Prophet Muhammad" can be killed.

And I've noticed that some talking heads in the media are, now, meekly saying "The Prophet Muhammad" instead of just "Muhammad."

    Cowardice.

The flow of Muslims into the West has to be stopped. They are, for the most part, not assimilating.

Islam is in its Dark Ages, and is likely to stay there for the next several hundred years.

Lock them out, stop buying their oil, and let them kill each other, while the West progresses, explores the solar system, and creates the future.
  35. Where's your proof?
