The Honorable Gene Stipe, OK State Senator --that’s interesting. The former mayor’s son, Steve Covington, was involved in some shady lending business with a guy named Gene Stipe, who seems to have a criminal history according to that news article I found.

Christ on a Crutch, Oklahoma, have you listened to Senator Stipe? Maybe you should. He is not playing with all 52 cards. Send him for a psychological evaluation. Or maybe just keep him off the sauce when you need him to seem competent.

Letter came after order to disassociate
    By James Beaty

Documents show that the people registered to be involved in Loan Plus Inc. changed shortly after the U.S. Office of Probation and Parole in the Eastern District of Oklahoma issued an order for Steve Covington and Gene Stipe to disassociate in 2005.

A letter sent from Steve Covington to the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit, dated Oct. 27, 2005, — a few weeks after the order to disassociate — announces a change in the loan company, which lists an address of 1308 Wade Watts Ave. in McAlester.

“Our company, Loan Plus, has gone through a structure change,” Covington said in the letter. “Mary Stipe is no longer involved in the corporation.”

Mary Stipe is the wife of Gene Stipe and listed the couple’s home as her address on her original application.

“At this time, Carole Covington is a major stockholder with 51 percent and Steve Covington is listed with 49 percent,” the letter stated.

The letter lists Steve Covington as the president of Loan Plus; former McAlester Mayor Dale Covington as the vice president and Mary Covington as the secretary/treasurer.

Dale and Carole Covington are Steve Covington’s parents.

Asked today if there was anything wrong with Mary Stipe being involved in Loan Plus at the time, Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit Administrator Don Hardin said “no.”

He said the rules and laws governing the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit are very specific and detailed and Mary Stipe’s involvement violated no laws of which he’s aware.

The News-Capital ran a story on Oct. 9, 2005, with Chief U.S. Probation Officer for the Eastern District of Oklahoma Kelley Garrett confirming that Gene Stipe and Covington had been ordered to disassociate.

At the time, both men were under federal court supervision because of felony convictions. Stipe had been convicted of perjury and conspiracy in connection with a Federal Election Commission investigation and Covington had been convicted of mail fraud in connection with an odometer rollback scheme

“We’re enforcing the conditions of his probation,” Garrett said of Stipe early October 2005.

Because the two men had been associating prior to the October 2005 order didn’t mean there had already been probation violations, according to Garrett.

“Due to pre-existing employment arrangements, initially, they were allowed to do that,” Garrett said.

However, that changed after the order issued in early October 2005.

“We believe it’s in the best interests of the court that they not associate with each other,” Garrett said at the time.

Another issue came up in McIntosh County District Court last week during a hearing in which Steve Covington sought a court injunction to halt what he said were untrue statements regarding himself and Loan Plus posted on the McAlester Watercooler, a forum for public opinion operated by Harold King.

During the hearing, King, who represented himself, asked Covington “Are you financed by a silent partner?”

“I have several banks I borrowed off of and I’ve also borrowed money from Gene Stipe,” Covington said.

Covington said in court last Friday that he owns 49 percent of the company himself and Carole Covington, who is his mother, owns 51 percent — the same way the ownership had been shown to be divided in the Oct. 27, 2005 letter to the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit.

Meanwhile, Hardin said he can’t confirm or deny at this time whether his office will seek an investigation into anything related to the licensing of Loan Plus.

He said people have called him and made allegations about a silent partner being involved in the company.

“Simply based on the courtroom testimony, I don’t see any indication Gene Stipe has an ownership in Loan Plus,” Hardin said. “Therefore, the information on the application is consistent.”

He also said the agency looks into complaints made against loan companies before determining whether an attempt to revoke a company’s license is warranted.

Hardin said if the agency receives information that alleges fraudulent information has been provided, the agency will investigate.

“The process call for a revocation hearing and in the hearing the agency would report the allegation,” Hardin said.

“The licensee would respond” and the agency could revoke the license if it’s warranted, he said.

Any person or corporation whose license is revoked can appeal to district court, Hardin said.

He also said that Steve Covington himself is not licensed — the Loan Plus corporation is. The company has a supervised lender’s license.

“That’s not a payday lender’s license,” he said.

In addition to making personal loans, companies with a supervised lender’s license, also known as “B” license, can also serve as mortgage brokers, he said.

Steve Covington is expected to figure in a hearing set for June 28 at the Eastern District of Oklahoma U.S. Courthouse in Muskogee, in which federal prosecutors are seeking to revoke Stipe’s probation.

Allegations that Stipe and Covington continued to associate after the October 2005 order and allegations that Stipe had been involved in a straw donor scheme are expected to be part of the case.

Hey yeah, Senator Gene Stipe in the Narconon video is the same Gene Stipe who got involved with some Covington shady loan business.

Gee, why would a crooked mayor and a crooked state senator want to support Narconon Arrowhead?

Social Services Ministry, Canada. And what's that then? There's no such ministry as part of the government of Canada, and that would probably be a provincial jurisdiction anyway.

I guess this isn't supposed to be real, it's just a reenactment.

DH isn't wrong. Canada has a Ministry of Community and Social Services.

Canada does not have a Social Services Ministry.

The ABLE vid is in 3 parts. Part 3/3 is the only one worth saving (hopefully someone can; I can’t). Useful for doxing early ABLE supporters. Since the Brightmore (thx fishypants) scandal the clams have been more careful about which useful idiots they dox in their vids.

Scientology pwned the FBI and IRS by infiltrating them back in the day and we are still waiting for the FBI to even that score. Sometimes we wonder why we gotta wait so long. When we see Federal agencies getting cozy with clam boosters, we get kinda squinty eyed.

Wow Demasco is a big deal. Clinton made him an official something back in the early 1990s.

If that's the same person, there's nothing even close to "Social Services Ministry" for Canada or Ontario on her resume.

Does a "Social Services Ministry" even exist at the federal level in Canada ?

    Isn't this a provincial competency ?

If she's an important official of an actual existing ministry, there is no legit reason

    1) not to state her actual title

    2) precisely name the ministry and which province it's based in if it's not federal

Like for the IAS video, they are vague on purpose so that these complete fabrications look legit to foreigners, at least on the surface.

Grantley Haynes has a Facebook page. He likes the Inspire Health and Mind Clinic that promotes the EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique. Basically, a therapist you’re chatting with tells you to tap your fingers on parts of your body. As you comply you feel more relaxed. Reminds me very much of the locationals, touch assists, and TRs of Scientology.

    https://www.facebook.com/grantley.haynes/likes

Odds are this sort of intervention will induce patients to report feeling better. The ones that get nothing from the tapping will feel silly and will quit. But the apparent benefit for some will likely fade unless they’re on a Treadmill to Total Freedom that keeps promising carrots just up ahead.

I think it’s useful to keep an eye on Scientology-like tech. Because the clams will want to do more non-LRH branded things now that the public are getting wise to their scams.
