Oh, and someone please poon Tim Conway, Jr. at KFI. The guy is a complete retard but he seems to looooove Stone.

    One more thing....................................................

Stone made an admission today on the radio that his Riverside email address goes straight to his cell phone and he sees the emails. Just sayin.

I don't see it as a big issue. Stone is barking about what he see's as a remedy for the economical turmoil that has hit California counties hard. Outside Riverside County, Stone has no political pull. After the initial media push, this issue will be largely tossed aside. We shall see.

See, I always knew there was something funny about SoCal. I just had the wrong SoCal.
  8. Anonymous Member

Yes, Xenu TV posted it, but it was created by some Norwegian (I think).
  9. Anonymous Member

nobody cares about about what you think.

Florida heat & humidity causing you brain rot, again?
  11. SqueakySadie Member

You may be right, but I happen to be in a place to monitor the political temperature in this state. Stone went from a fringe kook (who wasn't well respected among some of his supervisor peers) to someone who now has the ear for a short window of some conservatives that want attention. This window may be shut in the next few days if some media outlets know that he is entangled with Scientology. Otherwise it may grow legs.

There's heat and humidity in SoCal, you know.
  14. OTBT Member

Heat, yes. Humidity, not so much. San Diego is a damn tinderbox during the Santa Ana winds.
  15. Anonymous Member

^ Dammit, broke my posting streak, forgot to post anonymously.
  16. anonymous612 Member

That's okay, it wasn't subtle anyway.
  17. Anonymous Member

I will agree with OTBT though....socal has no humidity to speak of.
And I am glad of this.
I will not visit relatives on the East Coast during the humid months.
  18. Anonymous Member

New York City during August is usually worse than Southern Florida (Flag), both for temperature and humidity. San Diego is really dry, especially during Santa Anas. And way too darn hot in August.

    ANYWHOO......as I was sayin

Mr. Stone is getting press attention and he sounds half reasonable to the Rush Limbaugh crowd. He's decrying those dang-gummit Liberals that take money from "Special Interests" on radio shows, so it would be nice to start pooning the media outlets on just whose money he actually takes. He's the biggest hypocrite out there, but he's getting attention and we should shut it down IMHO.

Not to the extent that is in Florida. I've experienced both.

"Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone's proposal that the county lead a campaign for 13 Southern California counties to secede from the state got mixed reviews today.
He unveiled the plan the same day Gov. Jerry Brown signed budget legislation that will divert about $14 million in 2011-12 vehicle license fee revenue from four new Riverside County cities: Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Menifee and Wildomar. Officials fear the cut will have a crippling impact on the municipalities' finances."

""With this budget, you will see cities and counties on the brink of bankruptcy," said Stone, a Republicanwho serves in a nonpartisan position as supervisor. He said he did not propose the plan to further his own political career and does not want to become Gov. Stone of South California. "This is not a politically self-serving thing," he said. "I want to remain a county supervisor."

But some criticized Stone's proposal. Riverside County Supervisor Bob Buster called it crazy. Brown spokesman Gil Duran dismissed the idea. Duran even changed his photo on his Twitter account to Abraham Lincolnand tweeted a quote from the 16th president calling secession the essence of anarchy."

Perhaps a more fitting name should be "Mobilhomi a" or "Trailepar kia."

Not that there is anything wrong with trailer parks, the tax- phobic are ppl with lots of money they want to protect, they stir up the ppl with less money to protect their interests. Jeff Stone is the tool of the rich and powerful (ie clams), he probably doesnt like the whole "freeedom of religion" thing. Since scientologists claim to be Christian. Or Jewish. Have they claimed to be Muslim yet?

  36. Smurf Member

No. Sam's wife is named Marianne and he has a daughter, Kelly, that works with him.
  37. Anonymous Member

God damnit. I just saw a blurb about this on CNN.

I would listen to Bob Buster over Jeff Stone anyday. He is the only Voice of Reason on the whole damn board, the rest of them are puppets that dance to the tune of Stone's masters.

This is now also on Fox news. Man the harpoons and educate the masses.
