November XX-Kansas City Are we gonna be protesting on the second Saturday of the month (Nov. 14th), or is the day gonna be moved?
Re: November XX-Kansas City I'm pretty sure it's unanimous that we always protest on the second Sat That is, unless multiple people can't make it, then we reschedule.
Re: November XX-Kansas City Awesome! I know I missed the protest earlier this month, but I'm totally going to be there on the 14th. See you guys (gaise?) then!
Re: November XX-Kansas City Due to the emergence of "code of conduct" on public transportation and the presence of KCMO Police officers at transit centers (which could indicate that KCMO Police Department is working w/ Scientology to identify anonymous individuals) I think imma needz a ride! HaLp!! Demo... [...i haz moneyz ....].. or not... the choice is yours.
Re: November XX-Kansas City I highly doubt the police are helping Sci try to identify protestors. If you need a ride you need to PM me because Im not gonna come pick up some anonymous poster that I don't know.
Re: November XX-Kansas City I don't get it. 1. Put mask in bag 2. Get on bus 3. Put on mask right at the stop. 4. Get off bus 5. ??? 6. Profit I seriously doubt that the police would be working with the scilons to identify us. If they wanted to identify us they have the method of walking up to us and asking who we are. Which is a lot more simple method than staking out bus stops all over the city. I'm pretty sure the police don't give a shit about who we are as long as we remain within the law. Regardless, giving rides to known entities is well within reason. These are things that need to be organized in PM
Re: November XX-Kansas City i knowz police is not working w/ sci fags...its more like police are monitoring the actions of gang member and drug dealers at bus transit center and making sure such individuals don't disturb the peace or something.... i was just taking a wild guess... but the "code of conduct" that they recently posted on most buses was due to some individual wearing a mask and acting disorderly.. dunno if that was a scilon trying to give us a bad public image but yeah.... anyhow.. i willz pm you.
Re: November XX-Kansas City KCPD could give 2 shytes about us or Sci..they like to take a stance of non-involvement in everything political...if they show up it's only to make sure no ones gonna get killd.
Re: November XX-Kansas City Oh reallyz 1:14 - 1:30 YouTube - MORE4 NEWS Epic Nose Guy (UK) 1:14 - 1:30 and this 0:44 -1:00 YouTube - The Complex: Anonymous fights cult of Scientology's latest attempt to suppress a critical book 0:44 -1:00 Then again, Scientology does not have the resources to bribe every PD around the world. But do not forget about off-duty POs being paid off. Anyhow, maybe all that is in the past and no longer happening.
Re: November XX-Kansas City You be hatin' You think you gonna catch me ridin QWERTY Tryin to catch me ridin QWERTY Tryin to catch me ridin QWERTY Tryin to catch me ridin QWERTY Tryin to catch me ridin QWERTY
Re: November XX-Kansas City Newfag here. Planning on being there with my wife. Maybe she will make cupcakes... I dunno.
Re: November XX-Kansas City I've found that cupcakes are much more practical...they are delicious single-serving desserts that you can eat with your hands.
Re: November XX-Kansas City Cupcakes: delicious single-serving dessert edible with hand(s) moar practical Sounds liek we have a winrar. 9,000 cupcakes to you
Re: November XX-Kansas City Gratuitous <333333333333 ITT? Awesome. You clearly have little to no actual knowledge on how the system for hiring offduty officers works. Demos, your new guy's name is appealing. WHERE'S YOUR SENSE OF ADVENTURE?
Re: November XX-Kansas City INB4 OSAfag.... I see same bat place and same bat time. Bat place is easy but then who is bat time? Feel free to PM me to avoid facefagging speculation. FWIW... right now it will be me, my wife (soon to create an account hier), our son and possibly another person who fancies himself an enemy of the Co$ joining in on the fun.
Re: November XX-Kansas City 39th and Main 11am. Or more likely 11:30. OSA wouldn't have to ask what time we show up, as its always the same time every month. We operate with a pretty predictable regularity, except for when we don't.. I wouldn't suggest bringing your kid unless he's old enough to responsibly experience being yelled at by a bunch of drunk homeless people, because that happens pretty much all the time every time.
Re: November XX-Kansas City I completelly, totally, and utterly disagree with your suggestion... first of all, it doesn't happen "all the time every time" and "pretty much" contradicts the previous statement. I think by him bringing his kid his precense would have a peculiar effect on the public and on "non-clear" scientologists for the simple fact that a kid or child is definitely not a SP or PTS; also, to debunk the lie that "anonymous" is getting paid by whomever. If you're worried about his safety, don't be, i am sure Anonymous can protect him and even more his mom and dad. Now, homeless ppl are not the typical individuals whom scream, yell, argue, or flip us off; scilons are the ones that tend to do that. I personally haven't been screamed or yelled at and i have solo raided multiple times.
Re: November XX-Kansas City Where have you been? Have you missed all of our resident crazies? If I were a parent, I would totally want to subject my children to being harassed by several different drunk individuals who would try to grab, touch, hang all over and get in their face, but then again, I hate children and would be a horrible parent. While I think having a child in our midst would be interesting if the woman who takes her child to dance class on Saturdays walks by, or maybe the guy who takes our photos while hiding behind his kids comes out to play, but I think they would definitely try to use it against us somehow. They only people I've ever seen who have children at their protests are anti-gay Phelps type of people.
Re: November XX-Kansas City The good news is that his Mommanon and I are pretty well aware of the folks that hang out around there. I don't want to give any ammo for facefagging us later but we used to live in the general vicinity so he's not unaware of the human landscape around there... crazy and alcohol-fueled as it may sometimes be. We talked to him about what we are going to do and why. We gave him access to all of the information available to anyone that knows how to use the interbuttz along with some supervised access here (didn't want him experiencing the Dome...) and left him to make his own decisions about Co$ and if he'd like to protest. He has been raised to think for himself and to always ask "Why" which makes him annoying as hell sometimes but definitely not a mindless robot teen. As part of raising a responsible and thoughtful member of society, we feel that showing him that acting against something you feel is wrong is much more important than sitting around and whining about it. I realized that having him there may have the appearance of us putting words in his mouth so, if he decides to bring a sign, it will be a sign that he makes with a theme that he chooses. I have already told him that he needs to be prepared to defend his beliefs and I think that he will be. And, FWIW, a lot of his generation is already somewhat innoculated against Co$ because of the episodes of South Park where they rip on it. I'll bet he can recount the Xenu saga better than some OTVIIIs. But that's because he's not batshit crazy. Anyway, I appreciate the discussion on this. As a parent, I have to do the cost beneft analysis on anything he is exposed to. In this instance, I think the proportion of lulz to fail is in his favour and he is every bit as excited about this experience as we are. For anyone interested, the Halloween Express in Shawnee Mission (you can see it off of 35 near the Po-Po) has a bunch of GF masks.
Re: November XX-Kansas City Just to be clear I don't think it would be an outright bad idea to bring kids I just want to make sure that Molon is aware that the neighborhood the org is in is frequented by crazy drunk people. I'm not judging the decision to bring kids, just want to make sure all the facts are available to make an informed decision. Far be it for me to tell someone how to raise their kids. Meganon, I know your solo experience may be quite different to our group experience, but when we're out there in a large group the scilons never confront. They usually just walk by very nervously, silently spy on us or flip us off and run instead of getting in our faces. It is a fact that on Saturday morning, the people who get in our face and yell at us on Saturdays are more often crazy and drunk than scientologists, and it happens nearly every time we protest. We've also made the assumption that molon's son is really young which may not even be the case at all. Molon, do what you think is best, I just want to make sure you know just what you're getting in to.
Re: November XX-Kansas City I totally appreciate the heads up. We don't want to bring him into a situation that is going to be detrimental for him in any way. After all, bad things happening to him is a win for the Scilons in a round about sort of way. I mean, jeez... how many engrams would that be, amirite? I'm not sure what really young constitutes and I'm not anxious to put out a lot of details but he's a teen. He watched all of the videos from KC raids as well as some of the videos from other raids where things got a little more interesting. We've talked to him about bullbaiting. He's a pretty level headed little dood and doesn't get trolled too easily. As far a drunk a-holes go, it will be good practice for him before he goes to college. Besides, we all get lulz out of drunk shenanigans.
Re: November XX-Kansas City Until Frankenstein Jr shows up and wears out his welcome with his drunk bullshit about being alive. Anyways, if you think your kid can handle the drunk racist bums, the potty mouths all of us have and the possibility of a half eaten hot dog being thrown at you from a moving vehicle WELCOME TO THE PARTY! Oh and I will also take this moment for a public service announcement: you better dress warm because if I remember correctly, the raid last November was very uncomfortable.
Re: November XX-Kansas City you say that like a half eaten hot dog is the worst thing we've had thrown at us out of a moving vehicle.
Re: November XX-Kansas City We have proudly raised a youngun unencumbered by a lot of the norms that society places on us. He knows when to watch his mouth. Otherwise, he is able to weave a tapestry of cussing and filth that would make a dock whore puke. In other words, no worry about the potty mouths. He can handle drunk racist bums... he's been to a football game with his friends. I know it's not the same but if there is anything worse than a JOCO doucher trying to relive his salad days by drinking as much Coors as his potbelly will handle and then storming around a stadium, I don't want to know about it. I am probably not fully read in on all of the things he has had thrown at him but it never ceases to amaze me the level of foulness that little dudes concoct for each other. Honestly, I bet boredom gets him before anything else does. For the record, he knows about Applied Scholastics and he has already started spreading word amongst his friends. I wonder what the Scifags official policy is on fair gaming kids?
Re: November XX-Kansas City I was also under the impression that your son was young, but since you're saying he's a teenager I no longer have any reservations at all about his involvement. One of my favorite Anons ever is a teenager
Re: November XX-Kansas City I usually don't wear an ascot though. And I'm pretty sure that my son isn't gay. Other than that, yeah.
Re: November XX-Kansas City Nooooo. Not Hubbard. Hu88ard. A family in CA who protests with their kids. They're cool people. It was a compliment.
