Well I was asked to repost these lyrics here so I will. For kicks.

Set to Tobacco Island by Flogging Molly

YouTube - Flogging Molly - Tobacco Island

Off to hell we must sail on filthy decks of the Freewinds
Where asbestos grows much thicker than the God we once believed in
The Poodle and his crowd squirreled the tech we used for big wins
Now the SeaOrg chimes of ghostly crimes that haunt our Isolation

'Twas 1968 forgotten now for sure
They dragged us from our homeland with their contracts and their runs
Commodore and his auditors brainwashed all we knew
Shackled hopes of freedom; we're now but slaves for good
A billion years enslavement, blackened from the sun
This rotten cage of PAC-town is where I now belong

Off to hell we must sail on filthy decks of the Freewinds
Where asbestos grows much thicker than the God we once believed in
The Poodle and his crowd squirreled the tech we used for big wins
Now the SeaOrg chimes of ghostly crimes that haunt our Isolation

Thetans down a stat disconnect burns the soul
The engrams they're a plenty but reasons there are none
Our backs belong to COB where branded is his name
Paid for at RPF, cheap labor never breaks
They say the psyches are lying, pain drugs and hypnosis
Where livin' meet the dead, implant they have psychosis

Off to hell we must sail on filthy decks of the Freewinds
Where asbestos grows much thicker than the God we once believed in
The Poodle and his crowd squirreled the tech we used for big wins
Now the SeaOrg chimes of ghostly crimes that haunt our Isolation

    Auditing,
Will you cleanse all these SP's?
For it's getting hard to believe I'll never blow
    Between this 2-way com
The many words of the Anons
With each whisper a thousand words I hear more
    I'm waking up

    Dark is the horizon
    Blackened by L Ron
    This rotten cage of LRH
    Is where I now belong

Off to hell we must sail on filthy decks of the Freewinds
Where asbestos grows much thicker than the God we once believed in
The Poodle and his crowd squirreled the tech we used for big wins
Now the SeaOrg chimes of ghostly crimes that haunt our Isolation

Ok, Going to the tune "pirates that don't do anything" A few goons from the SA forums and I are putting together some ... erm.. modified lyrics... >D Please feel free to add to it!!

Pelvidar: "Weellll, weeee've never sailed the Freewinds,
    Or saluted L Ron Hubbard.
Never signed an empty promise to serve a billion years...."

(Me): We've Never paid a penny
    for some super-power scam
Never censored free speech on the internet

Grimnak: "'Cause we're Anonymous, and we are Legion.
We do not forgive, do not forget.
You can expect us until it's over
    And we're not done
    enturbulating yet."

Grimnak: "I've not had a forced abortion,
and I don't believe in thetans,
But I do believe in Legion and (the) Wise Beard (man)!"

(Me): Well I don't believe it's "fair" game
And I don't believe in Xenu
And I've never faked a bomb threat for some lame ass DVD

Grimnak: "'Cause we're Anonymous, and we are Legion.
We do not forgive, do not forget.
You can expect us until it's over
    And we're not done
    enturbulating yet."

These song ideas are great, need to get some volunteers to start memorizing them (preferably good singers) and some peeps to bring PA systems.

I wonder if there's room for a rewrite of "Barrett's Privateers" as "L.Ron's Profiteers." That's a sea shanty I actually know how to sing.

Ok I'm probably the only one to shit on this thread. If I missed anyone else while reading all 11 pages in this thread, my apologies.
    The SeaORG?
We are going to have the focus be on the obscure paramilitary branch of a cult that few people understand in the first place?
Sure the SO sucks ass. Sure I have pirate gear.
But seriously, this is where we want to devote our energies as far as press releases, getting media coverage, talking to the public?
This is going to help the cause how?

The idea is not completely stupid and I'm down for whatever the herd wants to do. I'll get out there in my pirate gear and make a big show of it but I think that ALOT more thought has to go into what we are going to promote information-wise in june. The Sea Org is just too weird and, in my view, will undermine efforts we've made to get the message out.

What happened to the other themes that were proposed for may? Exposing front groups, the ways in which scientology abuses and manipulates children and (my least favorite) psychout? Did they just get tossed aside in favor of the Sea Org?
In this war, we have to make the public care if we are going to win. We have to show them why the kooky UFO cult is relevant to their lives.

I'm gonna dig up my eye patch and I'll have fun with this after a few more brain pukes:
-I think we've missed opportunities by focusing on tax during a not tax day month ( April) and not focusing on disconnection during a time when family bonds are reaffirmed and celebrated (May, mothers day) -yes I'm American but the cult is strongest here and this is where it will ultimately be broken beyond repair.

-I'm on enturb most of the day every day and today is the first time I found this thread. All hail to the staff at enturb, you guys have my respect, but this kind of thing needs to be front and center for wide enough exposure/input from the hive. Sticked, global, polls.

-I'm proud to stand beside all of you in this fight and I'm sure it will be fine. Thanks

hey mate I agree with you to some degree but look at op reconnect. we lost numbers as anons could tell it wasn’t going to be so much about the lulz. and the media did cover us to some degree. but when thinking about it its common sense that the first thing we need is more protests to get attention. once we have HUGE amounts people will be very interned in what could have brag so many strangers together all around the world. Then we inform them about the sea org. a religion having a navy. then go on to fair game because of the masks. and can inform them of all the other corrupt things this cult has done. why holding there interest the whole time as been pirates. I mean... this idea is just WIN... that’s all I can really see. and there is gonna be one dam fun time had by all who show up.

Re: New Theme - Operation: Sea ARRRGH (aka Fleet Week)

I'm gonna modify a line from L. Ron here:

"Make noise, make more noise, make others make noise. However you get them informed or why, just do it."

In the long run, the theme doesn't really matter. As long as the message gets out to people, we are doing our jobs.

That said, the CORRECT theme can really liven up a protest.

SeaOrg = RPF, forced abortions, child labor. It is THE heartstrings issue. Talk about Astra Woodcraft, talk about Chuck Beatty, etc., etc. The Sea Org is where the cult's worst abuses take place. If you can't find something to hammer them about there, you're not trying hard enough.

And if you don't like it, just sail in with a different line.

"Arrgh, sir, I be a pirate but even a black-hearted rogue like me won't split families! <Insert disconnection spiel>"

"Ahoy, ma'am! Be ye interested in keeping the digital waters safe for free sails? <Insert First Amendment violations spiel>"

Re: New Theme - Operation: Sea ARRRGH (aka Fleet Week)

Sea Org might be a slightly obscure issue, but informing the general public that children as young as 12 are pressured to sign a billion year contract to slave away for a religious navy?

That's the sort of thing that sticks in the mind. And if a gang of pirates can't interest the Average Joe in the fact that Scientology has an indentured navy, then nothing will.

Re: New Theme - Operation: Sea ARRRGH (aka Fleet Week)

I agree with statement in other threads, that themes which are too specific can mangle a protest. That's why I like this one, although it's symbolic link is to the Sea Org, Pirates are just plain fun in general.

I think it's a real morale boosting kind of protest theme. It will hopefully bring out the numbers, beacause the theme itself is so fun.

No one has to keep their protest to the realm of the Sea Org, but if people ask "why the pirate costumes?" we have a relavant reason - but unless asked, you never really have to go there, just show up, have a GREAT time, make sure there are lots of laughs and boggle your local org.

Re: New Theme - Operation: Sea ARRRGH (aka Fleet Week)

Ok, ok, here's what we do. Bring the "forced abortions" bit to the attention of really conservative right-wingers. It'll REALLY piss the pro-lifers off. (And I'll bet it already does for some)
  15. Anonvox Member

Re: New Theme - Operation: Sea ARRRGH (aka Fleet Week)

I'm moderatly pro-choice and the coerced abortions offend me. I think a woman has a right to choose, but the emphasis is on CHOICE.
  16. Re: New Theme - Operation: Sea ARRRGH (aka Fleet Week)

We don't want the anti-choicers on our side. Seriously. Let them keep their dead baby vans far away from the party vans.

Re: New Theme - Operation: Sea ARRRGH (aka Fleet Week)

Make this your tool, not your complaint. Think about what you just said.

The public DO NOT KNOW that Scientology HAS A TOTALITARIAN NAVY.Anonymous can TELL THEM!

Don your Pirate gear, print a few inches of flyers, and get yourself a nice big placard saying something like:

"WHAT KIND OF CHURCH NEEDS A NAVY?"

    or

    "I THOUGHT Co$ COULDN'T GET ANY WORSE . . .
THEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT SEA ORG"

With a big informative link at the bottom.

Public ignorance is not a flaw. It is an opportunity.

Also, if we're voting for dates, I would prefer the 14th.

"Google Sea Org" signs would be very readable and quite memorable.

I wrote up a promotional flier for Sea Argh, but I don't think I have the Photoshop skills to do it justice. Would anyone be willing to stick this on a treasure-map background in a suitably old-timey font?

    BEWARE!

Avast, mateys! I be here to warn ye about the scurvy dogs at the Church of Scientology. A blacker-hearted bunch of knaves I never did see, and I be a pirate! Why, in the Church of Scientology, children as young as 12 be pressured into joinin' the Sea Org, the Church's sorry excuse for a navy. And once the rascals make those poor lads and lasses sign a billion-year contract, they work them to the bone!

No self-respectin' pirate would work eighty-hour weeks for fifty dollars pay, but that's what they get in the Sea Org.

No pirate would expect a cabin boy to do the work of a full-grown sailor, but in the Church of Scientology the little ones in the Sea Org are worked as hard as their parents!

When a pirate crosses his captain, he expects fair punishment, but in the Sea Org ye can be sent away to the Rehabilitation Project Force for months or even years. In the RPF, every day is nothin' but back-breakin' work and little sleep, and often for crimes a pirate captain wouldn't bat an eye over. Even children get sent to the RPF!

If ye be as disgusted as we, then there's only one thing left to do.

    SATURDAY, JUNE 14
    11 AM [YOUR LOCATION]

Wear yer finest piratin' clothes, and be sure to inform yerself as to the many crimes of the scoundrels at the Church of Scientology. We pirates will have fine music, dancin', and food. Just be sure those blasted ninjas don't get to the cake before ye do.

"All are called, only the courageous accept"?

A wee bit egotistical, but then again, so is Scientology (and when I say wee in the latter case, I mean as in so large that only Paul Fetch can provide greater unwarranted self-importance).
