New Forum Skin & Merry Christmas

We have some good news for those of you whom have been burning they're retinas while reading the WhyWeProtest forums. We Considered giving each one of you a pair of sunglasses for christmas but being the cheapskates that we are we decided to offer you something else :

To be able to use this forum skin you have to select the skin WhyWeProtest[NEW] in the dropdown menu displayed at the bottom right of the forum pages.

Hopefully this skin will be far easier on your eyes.

    Merry Christmas.

Hmmm well it sure is "different!" :) Will give it a try and let you know which one I wind up picking to stick with after the holiday. Merry Christmas to you and yours, and to all our good lil Enturbulators out there, even if it's not really a word!!! Ho, ho, ho! Merry Xmas! Last one to blow, pl0x turn out the lights.

things overlap on the main page, resize and edit, but it is good

needs more anonymous logos and green colours

No I haven't been taken up in the Rapture. I just want to say hello and Happy Holiday of Your Personal Choice to all my anon buddies.

also, when you highlight things like the links to previous boards, things become only lowercase

Yeah I noticed same overlap on reduced screen size when reading forums. Makes it very bunched up and hard to read. Going back to original skin after less than 30 minutes of use. Nice try but it's still too rough around the edges for my tastes. Rather wear shades.

ok, overlap seems fixed... but I miss having information on the most recent poster for recently updated threads...

(I know I'm nitpicking but this is serious business)

Yeah, I'm missing that too and I'm using the usual skin.

Yes sorry about that trying to find a balance between information and width :( i hate this statistics mod for being so .. argh,

    No worries.

Ditto here. Had both date, time and last poster, F5 and it's just time and last poster, F5 and now nothing. Busy beavers on Christmas Eve! :)

Re: New Forum Skin & Merry Christmas

It is an elaborate scheme to drive up pageviews !!! *evilgrin*

Srs: If i add date back again .. it gets messy again on lower resolutions..

For me, the names are the most useful, anyway. When I'm following threads, I only need to see if the name of the last poster has changed or not.

I knew it! It's a trap! You're just in it for the adviews aren't ya?

I also notice that we can now see join date and posts easily (they were never really hidden but whatever)

didn't we agree that post count and join date shouldn't be shown to prevent leaderfagottry

Perhaps change the grey default text to black instead, and it's fine by me. I just find the grey against light grey a bit hard at times. Having got my monitor already set 'right' for WoW and suchlike, I don't want to have to keep changing it when I come here.

But it's better than the old colour scheme fo' sho.

The skin needs more black in it.

Well, I guess its cool... but I'm drunk.

However, I can't find the "view unread posts" shit... and I NEED it.

Tried the new skin. ~~~ Thanks

Just wanted to say that the top strip which starts from the left with "home", "forums" and so on, is not showing to me. (in the new skin)

Maybe, this is the way it's meant to be. ~~~ dunno ,~ just wanted to let you know.
