Nevada: Sharron Angle Running For Senate

Another cult tool is running for a Senate seat.

Jeff Stone is joined now by Nevada's Sharron Angle |Mod note: partisan stuff removed -ARC].

In 2003, Angle tried to get Second Chance into Nevada state women's prisons. Even after her proposal was rejected by the Nevada Assembly, she doggedly continued to defend this Scientological snake oil. I wrote about her in this DailyKOS blog a while ago:

    No partisanfaggotry please.

Cult tools are cult tools, no matter what party they're in, so focus on that.

We inform both "sides" of the political field about this. Scientology is also trying to influence both parties.

    Now carry on.

Indeed. What is the Prime Directive for a Scientologist/politician?

    1) KSW
    2.) Serving the community
    3) Serving the community's money to Scientology
    4) See #1

I write for DailyKOS because it reaches a lot of people who otherwise would never hear about Scientology issues. Although some commentators criticize these blogs as off-topic for DK, the fact that these issues are politically related makes them relevant for that forum.

I offer cites so interested readers can do more research if they've a mind to. My blogs have nothing to do with partisan politics.

I don't see Sharron Angle listed with any service completions. Is just another politician that got duped by the cult or is she a scilon?

Is her stance regarding the Purification Program still the same?

Re: Nevada: Sharron Angle Running For Senate

This, is she actually a Scilon, or is she more like Jeff Stone?

You were wrong. This is important stuff. The Purification Rundown kills people.

Re: Nevada: Sharron Angle Running For Senate

Cult dupe, as far as I can tell. She's also a member of the Scilon-infested National Foundation of Women Legislators, as mentioned in the OP. I'd be interested in the answer to your question. Does she still support Second Chance and the Purif? I don't know. I'd love to hear her views on the Second Chance debacle in New Mexico last year!

Re: Nevada: Sharron Angle Running For Senate

Well since she is starting a run for the Senate vs. a guy who's own approval ratings are in the toilet I would be interested in knowing. Seeing that she actual stands a chance of ousting a sitting Senator (which is actually kind of rare). Maybe feed the question to the press to see if she takes a stand one way or the other?

If she's not still shilling for the cult I don't particularly care to discuss it on this forum.

Re: Nevada: Sharron Angle Running For Senate

There's very little doubt that she'd be shilling for the cult, even if she's not directly aware that she is. Anywhere the National Foundation of Women Legislators crops up, proposals that public monies be earmarked for one scientology front group or another usually aren't very far behind. It's not the foundation itself, just the degree to which it's been infiltrated by scientologists.

Hopefully then the republicans put up someone else then. Still very early in the process.
  14. Re: Nevada: Sharron Angle Running For Senate

The scilons tried to install one of their own as Cark County (Las Vegas) sheriff a few years back. He spent a hell of a lot of money during the electorial race, but lost miseribly, due to his faked/weak police credentals.

He's also connected the scilon-owned Front Sight tactical training school, but last I heard he fled in the dark of night after defrauding the students from his own helicopter training school.

It's been a few years, so I don't remember his name, but DO remember that it rhymes with areola.

Thinking of current events, that would have been FUCKING SCARY had he won.

Re: Nevada: Sharron Angle Running For Senate

    Proof?

As far as this state senator goes, who cares if she's a scientologist? Refusing to vote for a person simply because they have to be a scientologist is bigotry- straight up. And I know I know you all want to say ZOMG KSW SHE'S GONNA FORCE SCIENTOLOGY ON PEOPLE!!!!!!! but aside of one instance of her trying to get support for some narconon afiliated program what has she done to try and get scientology into the public sphere? Really, if you wouldn't vote for her simply because she's a scientologist how are you any different than those people who freaked out about Keith Ellison being elected simply because he was a muslim?

John Coale's PAC documents and LRH's perfect tech policy is enough for me to NEVER vote for a Scientologist. They have an agenda to run the government in a way that would not agree Constitution. If that makes me a bigot, oh well.

    bigot #2 here

also would not allow any scientologist to
    - teach my kids in any setting
    - deliver ANY kind of abuse recovery programming to any friend or family member
    - supervise or chaperon my kids alone
    - enter into some types of business arrangements with my business

probably more but there's the drift

You can google it yourself. There is a lot of documented information about the NFWL.

The treasurer is Bruce Wiseman, late of the CCHR.
Jewelry Joy Westrum and her hubby serve on boards.

Scientology in the NFWL, Lobby and Political Groups - Attacking Mental Health, Promoting Subversive Programs

The NFWL was founded in 1938. Wiseman realized the value of participating in an organization made up of legislators. He sent out a letter asking for donations, as membership is expensive.
Here, he outlines why this is valuable:

I thought this was going to be about Jeff Stone, who defends David Miscavige's priviledge to allegedly assault his staff away from noisy activists who dare to oppose assault.

He's running for state senate, not US.

Sharron Angle is a twat, and her link to Scientology needs exposure. But hey, if she's pandering to the Teabaggers, that's fine and guarantees a fail. They're loud, but not numerous.

    "Welcome
My campaign against Harry Reid is heating up. The never-ending bailouts of banks, insurance businesses, mortgage companies, automakers, the federal nationalization of student loans, the passage of socialized medicine in ObamaCare, the trillion dollar deficits"
"As a Nevada State Assemblywoman, I received the Claremont Institute’s Ronald Reagan Freedom Medallion and as minority whip, I was able to hold 15 legislators against the largest tax increase in Nevada’s history defeating a gross-receipts tax. Ten of my bills became law. I have a consistent record of voting “no” on taxes, fee increases, and government mandates.

I offered conservative, constitutional, free market solutions then and I’m offering them now.

"My economic policy is simple; pay back the deficit, cut back the spending and take back by defunding ObamaCare, auditing the FED, abolishing the IRS tax code, liquidating Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and defunding unconstitutional programs, departments and positions."

    My comment:

I was one of the OG who wrote every member of the Nevada legislature when Angle introduced a proposal to fund Second Chance in Nevada prisons on the public dime. I received so many messages from the legislature assuring me that this stupid scam was not going to be accepted. It was great; the legislators really did look at the links I sent them and drew the only conclusion a responsible lawmaker could possibly draw. If that incident had been a fish, it'd be hanging on my wall as a trophy!

Re: US Senate candidate welcomes Scientology

You give Jeff Stone way too much credit. Stone is not pro-Scientology. He has proven to be the usual run-of-the-mill slimy, corrupt politician that caters to those that give him lots of money and assures his power base. Now, he expects that influence to carry him over to the State Senate seat which he will probably win because he has alot of support among the national Republican Party.

I'm surprised that Gov. Schwarzenegger hasn't come out in support of him yet. It's all slimy politics that we're exposed to on a daily basis.

Although mostly well meaning people scientologists are trained liars who put the church of scientology before all other considerations. Scientologists often neglect their children and run themselves in to financial ruin for the organisation so how can they be trusted to have good judgement when it comes to being in public office?

Yeah, and let's spend public money and detoxify them with the Purif cuz it's such good science! And she'd go for it because she's too fucking lame to do any research. She'd be a perfect candidate for Riverside County politics!

Oh yeah, I'm not a Scientologist, and a patriot, but I'll farm out tax dollars to Mexican NarCONon (even though they have them established right here in the states). Nuth'n fishy here, move along.
