Wow. That book is hard to find via Amazon's search.

Try this link. [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Blown-Good-Behind-Curtain-Scientology/dp/0982502206/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1257464730&sr=1-1]Amazon.com: Blown for Good: Behind the Iron Curtain of Scientology (9780982502204): Marc Headley: Books[/ame]

I am hoping this is just because the search terms have not been indexed yet.

Thank you, whoever posted this. I haven't had such a good laugh in a long time.

Also, to everyone here: I notice the Enquirer has published several "Co$-unfriendly" articles. Whatever their reputation as "journalists", they are widely read. Can anyone think of a way to get them to do a story on the Cult's tax-exempt status or IRS deal? Or Davey's lavish lifestyle? In this economic climate, I think a story on any of these angles would make a lot of "enquiring minds" rage.

Also also... congrats BFG, well done!

The bar has been set, Its time for BFG to be on a network news program.
I think Dateline would be good, or Bashir with a follow up!

    Awesome work BFG!!!

    Great job BFG!!
I bet Slappy is already briefing Tommy Davis on how to make every future move in the press to counteract BFG's epic tome.

Hey, does this look like Tommy D?
Tommy is so entertaining and when he gets interviewed you can almost see the puppet strings...

My -- mild -- concern, is that because Marc is so familiar with the ins and outs of Scientology, he may neglect the duty to summarise scientology abuses in a general, well-rounded way.

But then again that's just a suspicion and I haven't even read his book yet...

Yeah, I'm sure Oprah the Scientology groupie will support it....

Good thing is, if the viewers of Oprah read it, they're going to question why Oprah is supporting Tom Cruise so much, when according to Marc Headley, TC is one of the reasons Scientology is still purpetrating solvent enough to perpetuate these abuses.

You know, the Enquirer is actually fairly reliable. The stories are overdramatized ("A friend says, 'We're just so worried about her.'") and they pay for stories (as do legitimate news outlets in many other countries, including Britain), but the basic content is usually true.

There was a big lawsuit against them in the 80's by Carol Burnett and since then they've had fact-checkers and libel lawyers go over everything with a fine-toothed comb. Remember how the story of John Edwards' mistress turned out to be true? The New York Times has had to cite the Enquirer as a source several times in the last decade. I'll take the Enquirer's reporters over Judith Miller any day.
