No, I don't live in Nashville but I would love to come home for a 5 year anoniversary party. Feb 16
works for me and coincides with the Harlem Globe Trotter event. If that doesn't work lets come up with
    a Saturday that does.

I miss y'all. Lets do this.

I'm totally up for this shit. Nixon and I have nothing planned as of now according to our calendar on my phone. I'm having him check if he's on-call that weekend, but he might be able to have someone cover for him if he was scheduled to be on-call.

ETA: And Nixon is not, in fact, on-call that weekend, so we're good to go!

    Awesome
hey is the Sea Org outfit still around? Maybe it can debut again? Of course you wil lhave to wear pants under the skirt or you will freeze your noogies off
  4. juche Member

Alas, the Sea Org outfit is with our beloved Demos who has left us for the wilds of the Northeast Corridor.
  5. RightOn Member

    no!! say it isn't so!
  6. juche Member

Sadly, Nixon and I are the only Nashanons who live in Nashville proper now. Those assholes and going where opportunity leads them, ugh.

One of Nixon's groomswomen said that we needed to have the whole wedding party wear sombreros for the entire wedding and, when asked, act like they weren't wearing them. We heartily considered this for a good couple of weeks and are still quietly considering at least having them wear them during the reception.

I still miss the Great Leader, but his son still brings the lulz, so I guess I should be thankful that there's a crazy ass dynasty that's maintaining power for now.

I have some coworkers who have expressed interest in going to protests, so I might be bringing fresh blood. Also, would anyone be interested in going to the hookah bar afterwards?

Yeah! Don't park in the WO Smith school parking lot. Park on one of the side streets and walk up to the corner of 8th and Edgewood, across the street from the org.

If we are late, which we always are, don't start without us. Wait in your car for one of us to get there. Protesting alone in Nashville isn't dangerous, but they do send people to do stupid shit like try to get us to buy explosives. Spoiler alert COS: Nashanons do not want to buy anything you are selling. :)
  23. anonsoldier Member

I have access to better explosives as part of my job than anything they could try to sell me. I've solo trolled D.C., I don't fear these punks. Thanks for the advice on parking, though. That's good intel I can use.

    See you guys there.

Protest starts at 1ish. We are always late, always. I may be driving in on that day and will try my very best to be on time, but why break tradition? I was never on time even when I lived 5 minutes from the org, lol.

My favortie Larry Wright quote is what Tony Ortega reported him saying at the end of an appearance in NYC to promote his book:

SCIENTOLOGY IS HEADING FOR A RECKONING.

Mibad. Didn't get the Elvis quote quite correct from memory. It exists in two versions:

THAT S.O.B. GROUP - ALL THEY WANT IS MY MONEY!!! (ref )

    and

FUCK THOSE PEOPLE. ALL THEY WANT IS MY MONEY!!! (ref )

The Sea Org PR person for the Nashville CC Julie Brinker nee Forney? I wonder if they will make her leave the org? Poor thing. Maybe Nashanons should throw her a baby shower.
