It's there now, and woah, KSCO needs some decent audio technicians to prevent Dave Touretzky's voice blowing out our eardrums
Apart from that, the program was very informative, both Dave and Nanette Asimov covered the points well.

Sneaky Scientology finds another way to get access to high school students | The Underground Bunker

We’ve said it before: Scientology never gives up. With its public image at an all-time low, the sneaky organization continues to infiltrate where it can with the use of its front groups and stealthy operatives.

One of our vigilant tipsters noticed that Scientologists have wormed their way into an anti-gang conference happening next week at a Los Angeles high school.

It’s called the National Unity Summit, which we hadn’t heard of. The organization has a rather rustic website with some interesting ideas about spelling, and the event appears to be the creation of a Dr. Gregory Tatum. Here’s how he explains the event:

“The vision of the National Unity Summit is to study the division of communities by gang and territorial control that has ruined our communities in this nation over many decades…We will use former gang members and at-risk youths to help reach some of our objectives. We will solicit the help of parents, pastors, teachers and community leaders, no stone will be left un-turn. This is a move of God call by God to help stop our youth from acts of violence in this nation, join us in this vision.”

Here’s the disastrous flier that goes with it:

Our tipster gave us this rundown on the event:

Slimey as this is, keep in mind it's happening on a Saturday, and it's not a school sponsored event. They school is just renting out the space, and there are limits on who they can turn down.

That said, while most of the speakers appear to be $cientology front group related a few appear to be people who, once again, didn't do their "due diligence" on who the people sponsoring this really are. Some enlightenment passed in their direction might be useful.

  14. ABLE's Bob Adams Erased

bob-adams.jpg Bob Adams was a Senior Vice President at ABLE International, the Association for Better Living and Education, and a director of Narconon International. ABLE is the parent organization for four Scientology front groups: Narconon, Criminon, Applied Scholastics, and The Way to Happiness Foundation. You can read more about ABLE at
Bob has reached the highest level of spiritual training available to Scientologists: Operating Thetan Level VIII. He is truly a master of the universe, "at cause over MEST" (Matter, Energy, Space, and Time). He's also a Patron of the International Association of Scientologists, meaning he's contributed at least $40,000 to Scientology's "war chest" for harassing its enemies.
In March 2004 Bob was "disappeared" from the ABLE web site. Why? We think it has to do with his having threatened, on the phone, someone at their work site in order to try to find out details of the SF Chronicle article that reporter Nanette Asimov was writing about Narconon's infiltration of the San Francisco school system. When Mr. Adams' threatening activities became known, ABLE decided to erase him. Here is the evidence:
    • Article from before the Adams incident, prominently featuring Mr. Adams. It says that "Sheriff Baca received the award from ABLE International's Senior Vice President, Bob Adams."
    • Same article after the incident; Mr. Adams' name has been removed. Now it says "Sheriff Baca received the award from the President of ABLE International, Rena Weinberg." And the photograph in which Adams appears with Baca has been shifted to a less prominent position.

This is not the first time Bob Adams has embarrassed his Scientology masters. In 1999 he issued a press release in which he libeled Olympic swimmer Mark Tewksbury, claiming incorrectly that Tewksbury had been stripped of his title due to illegal drug use. (Mr. Tewksbury, a member of the Canadian Olympic Association, voluntarily resigned his position to protest corruption at the IOC.) A retraction had to be issued to correct the record.
And possible criminal activity in the mid-1990s by a "Robert Adams" connected with Scientology is described on this page at
So now Bob has been "disappeared", including his I am a Scientologist spam page, but we have an archived copy. Also see his list of Scientology course completions.
The email link from this archived page shows his ABLE affiliation; the original page was (MOD EDIT: Hotlink removed). Perhaps Bob will be rehabilitated some day.
Here is another page about Bob's activities.
In 2006, Bob Adams turned up as spokesman for the Church of Scientology International; full text of the press release is here.
May 10, 2006: Bob Adams lies outrageously about Xenu on KCOL radio in Colorado.
June 23, 2006: Bob Adams again lies about Xenu, this time on KGO radio. As Scientology's official spokesperson, he knows very well that his Church has sued multiple people for copyright infringement for publishing the Xenu story, a document known as OT III. And numerous previous spokespeople have acknowledged Xenu. So lying about this now is just silly.
January 29, 2008: Bob Adams appears in this Australian TV News segment spouting the usual Scientology lies about Tory Christman.
June 18, 2012: Bob Adams represents Scientology at a zoning hearing in Sandy Springs, Georgia. His title is given as Vice President of the Church of Scientology International.
  15. Scientology Spokesperson Inducted into San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame

LOS ANGELES, CA — Bob Adams a spokesperson for the Church of Scientology International, was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame last week in recognition of his 8-year NFL career. Adams played as tight end for such teams as the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons.

Adams, who earned his Masters in Education in the off seasons, became an educator and consultant after his pro ball career, working with programs based on humanitarianL. Ron Hubbard's landmark discoveries in the fields of education, drug abuse prevention and rehabilitation, and criminal reform.
"What athletes do and how they live their lives has a lot of influence on their fans," said Adams. "Athletes who abuse drugs, whether street drugs or steroids take them to overcome physical pain, or stress or as a shortcut to improve performance, but the drugs never really solve the problem. And the minute they go this route they not only set a bad example for the kids, they also forfeit their integrity and self-respect."
Adams sees athletes and parents as among the most important role models for today's youth. He encourages them to make the facts about drugs available to youngsters and is a strong supporter of the "Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life" campaign. Through this campaign, Scientology churches worldwide have printed and distributed more than 8.3 million informational brochures laying out the facts about drugs. The educational effort has also included more than 280,000 drug awareness billboards and posters, 48 million fliers, 89,000 public awareness events, and 10,200 newspaper and television stories promoting drug-free living.
Mr. Adams has also authored a booklet on steroids abuse, Understanding Steroids, in which he analyzes the high physical, emotional, spiritual and economic cost of anabolic steroids on today's athletes.

Church of Scientology Community Relations Specialist and NFL Alumni Bob Adams warns high school athletes on the dangers of drugs

Church of Scientology Community Relations Specialist, NFL Alumni and educator Bob Adams speaks out for drug awareness and education.
LOS ANGELES—Addressing a high school football team in south Los Angeles last Friday, NFL Alumni, educator and Church of Scientology Community Relations Specialist Bob Adams asked the youth who among them knew someone who had been in serious trouble because of drugs, and found most of them had.
A former tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Adams related to the team his own experience of nearly going blind from short term use of steroids while in college. During his senior year at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Adams was the captain of offense and knew he was being looked at by several NFL teams. On a tip from a scout who mentioned he could increase his chances of making it to the NFL by adding 20 pounds to his 6 foot 2 inch 210-pound frame, Adams remembered a teammate who had gained 40 pounds taking steroids the year before. He spoke to a trainer and within a few days, Adams had a prescription for steroids he hoped would cinch his chances of making it.
Within days Adams was experiencing more than weight-gain. “I started having migraine headaches and I didn’t attribute it to the steroids at first. Then I started having random periods of 10 to 15 minutes where I could hardly see,” said Adams. “I was terrified that I was going blind and my dreams of playing professional football were gone.”
Adams put his savvy in college biology to work and looked into the steroids he had been taking. He eventually discovered that he had hypertension from the medication, which was affecting his ocular nerve and causing the bouts of “blindness.” Within two weeks of starting, Adams was done with steroids forever. And he made it to the NFL and a successful career with the Steelers.
“It’s a real experience that is meaningful to young athletes,” Adams says of the ordeal that nearly finished his football career before it got started. “Many others haven’t been as lucky, so I always try to bring home that drugs don’t mix with success in sports or any other zone. They kill people, ruin relationships and destroy lives and the evidence is all around us.”
A recent study of emergency room visits involving non-medical use of prescription drugs revealed an increase of 111 percent between 2004-2008. The Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Thomas Frieden stated that non-medical use of prescription drugs is now as common as illicit drugs.
Adams recommends a free education resource to students, parents, coaches and educators called the Foundation for a Drug-Free World for its youth-friendly materials based on authoritative studies and surveys. The Foundation’s Truth About Drugseducation series includes 13 booklets and 16 public service messages on the most commonly abused drugs, including prescription drugs. There is also a new 13-chapter, 90-minute documentary based on interviews with more than 200 former addicts, giving their personal stories.
“Today the way drugs are portrayed in advertising can be very misleading, so no one can afford to be in the dark about drugs. The information that the Foundation provides should be in every home, locker room, school, club and company,” said Adams. “It would prevent a lot of heartache and save a lot of lives.”

Citing link between drugs and crime, Sheriff Lee Baca spearheads initiative for L.A. County clergy to train as drug prevention specialists.

Sheriff Lee Baca has given religious leaders in Los Angeles a mandate to bring the truth about drugs to their communities.
On June 9, 2011, Sheriff Baca officiated at a unique graduation ceremony. He acknowledged over 100 members of the clergy with Drug-Free World Prevention Specialist Certificates bearing his signature and the seal of L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.
To attack the problem of drug abuse and addiction at a grassroots level, in May 2011 Sheriff Baca urged members of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Multi-Faith Executive Clergy Council to learn and use the Truth About Drugs program of the Foundation for a Drug-Free World, and offered his Monterey Park headquarters for the training sessions.
Clergy Council member Bob Adams, Vice President of the Church of Scientology International, and Bishop Edward Turner, Pastor and Founder of Power of Love Christian Fellowship and a special assistant to Sheriff Baca, helped coordinate the training.
At one of the training sessions, Sergeant Mark Cripe, who supervises the VIDA (Vital Intervention and Directional Alternatives) program for at-risk youth, explained why he embraced the Truth About Drugs program.
“Everything in the Truth About Drugs curriculum is pure gold,” he said. “There is no message about drug abuse that is more penetrating than what this program provides. We can’t top it.”
The extensive training activity was consistent with the mission of the Sheriff’s Clergy Council: “To assist and support the community, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, and to intercede with spiritual guidance in crisis situations.”
Clergy Council members are all too aware of the crisis drug abuse and addiction causes in their communities, as drug-related crime and substance abuse impact the lives and livelihoods of families throughout Southern California.
With over 100 clergy now certified as Drug-Free World Prevention Specialists, at-risk youth can not only find the spiritual guidance they need at their local churches, mosques and synagogues, they can also learn the truth about drugs.
The Foundation for a Drug-Free World, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Los Angeles, California, is dedicated to the eradication of drug abuse through education.

SCIENTOLOGY EXPELLED?: Front groups drop off National Unity Summit website

Wow. Talk about results! On Saturday, we told you that one of our eagle-eyed tipsters had noticed that several stealth Scientologists and Scientology front groups had wormed their way into the “National Unity Summit” scheduled for this Saturday at Dorsey High School in Los Angeles.

Now, our tipster is back with surprising news.

The National Unity Summit has dropped The Way To Happiness, Foundation for a Drug-Free World, and Californians for Drug Free Youth as sponsors.

All of them were sponsors for the event and were listed on the event’s sponsor page. And now, all of them have been removed.

The website still contains a page for The Way To Happiness, but there are no internal links to it.

It also still contains a page for United for Human Rights, but again there are no internal links to it.

Interestingly, the National Unity Summit website has completely removed the webpages for Drug-Free World and Californians for Drug Free Youth.

It appears the only Scientology related official sponsor is now Crossover Outreach, the new front group of the Californians for Drug Free Youth front group.

Also, we checked the list of speakers, and it appears that Scientology spokesman Bob Adams, and CCHR shill Rizza Islam no longer are on it, and their individual speaker pages have been removed from the site.

UPDATE: Our tipster cautions us that the website suddenly losing this information doesn’t prove that the Scientology infiltrators still might not be taking part on Saturday, only that their involvement is going further underground. So we’ll keep checking on that as the event nears.

This cult press release was published today. Quote:

Sheriff Lee Baca Keynote Speaker at Peace and Unity Conference Near "Death Alley"

More than 80 clergy, gang interventionists and law enforcement officers met at Church of Scientology L.A. Community Center on Vermont to help find ways reduce crime, drugs and gangs through education and vital social programs throughout Los Angeles--especially those areas in and around "Death Alley".

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Community leaders came to listen to the former L.A. County Sheriff and discuss issues and solutions. Many present had worked with Lee Baca for years to improve their communities with programs he recognized and supported.

Baca's message to all was clear. Collaborate, coordinate and persist. It will take hard work through our churches, law enforcement, families and schools: And upgrading education is the key. "Too many of our kids get bypassed, fall behind and become frustrated, demoralized and eventually quit school and then get into trouble," said Rev. Bob Adams, Director of Public Affairs staff for the Church of Scientology.

"Uniting faith-based and secular organizations with community policing is imperative using programs that work. It takes faith in the purpose and work, and this has to be done," said Bishop James Franklin Harris from Watts.

Bishop Harris shared how he used the nonreligious moral code, The Way to Happiness by L. Ron Hubbard, passing out the booklets in his community to effectively reduce violence and keep the peace.

Additional speakers supporting effective actions were Sergeant Mark Green, commander of training for the South Bureau LAPD; Isaac Asberry of Teen Intervention Program; Clyde Terry, Sergeant, L.A. County Sheriff's Department; and David Bates, retired sheriff's deputy.

Clergy, parents and kids, educators, law enforcement — anyone can take advantage of the many free programs offered by the Community Center which include tutoring, drug education, human rights education, character building training based on The Way to Happiness and much more.

So the title suggests Baca is still Sheriff. Until you get to the first line in the intro which is easily over looked.

"Many present had worked with Lee Baca for years to improve their communities with programs he recognized and supported."
Of course he did. Glad the shill is no longer Sheriff.
Wonder what Lee the Shill is up to now.

"Additional speakers supporting effective actions were Sergeant Mark Green, commander of training for the South Bureau LAPD; Isaac Asberry of Teen Intervention Program; Clyde Terry, Sergeant, L.A. County Sheriff's Department; and David Bates, retired sheriff's deputy."

I guess poons would be a waste of time to these people. It is obvious they were either duped or being paid off? Or perhaps a chance to meet TC?
Maybe poons are needed else where exposing that these people were in attendance.
Don't know where or who will listen or care.

  28. He's likely paying his attorneys a LOT of money to keep indictments from coming his way. His right-hand-man, Tanaka (who ran for Sheriff to replace Baca) was recently indicted on charges from the FBI investigation.

He may be charging appearance fees for these types of events as he is a private citizen now. His lolyers need to be fed.
