Well, in order to establish guidelines for RICO prosecution, the cult needs to be convicted of the "one predicate act" that proves criminal intent. With Graham on the case and FormerlyIN's data, that can finally be fulfilled. It's only a short step from FormerlyIN's data to proof of criminal conspiracy (current criminal conspiracy; the Feds can't use Operation Snow White for this purpose since it predates RICO laws). This is exciting. When the gummint moves, it's an awesome thing to behold. And the attack will be coming from multiple directions too, which is even more fun.

Re: My Deposition Holy crap, I hadn't thought of that! Still, it seems a bit unlikely that the SEC would be investigating the IRS. I think that would fall to either the Government Accountability Office or maybe Secret Service. (Aside from their more famous mission of protecting public officials, they're also the investigative branch of the Department of the Treasury.) As much as I'd like to see the IRS get smacked down hard, I doubt the SEC would be the ones wielding the Pimp Hand. **Speculation edited. I so do not want to screw up this investigation. ^^^Pure Speculation on my part^^^

Re: My Deposition i agree. but let's say - just for sake of speculation of course... heh... let's say you take a publicly-traded company with Scientologists on the BOARD. preferable one in an industry that would match their interests in more way than one, like media and entertainment for example! and lets say that board is infiltrated enough to use the publicly traded company to further their own interest. Ya know, kinda like how a company like Viacom could perhaps put youtube & google under duress, all the while protecting certain celebrity interests. perhaps an angle there, but just guessing. will be delicious cake no matter what it is, thats fer sure. and we just gotta adjust ourselves to wait for it to be served.

I just had to do what I thought was right by turning over my docs and giving the deposition. Most of us have that little voice that tells you what is right and what is wrong...mine was saying, give them up and do the right thing.

Re: My Deposition Hey FormerlyIN, I'm pretty sure he meant that you can go to Catholic Charities for help re: food, job, etc. and they won't try to convert you--If you tell them you aren't interested in Jesus, they'll make a note of it and proceed with helping you with whatever they can.
