National talk shows are unlikely to show interest absent some national angle or something really scandalous -- and just being a cult tool isn't that scandalous... at least, yet. Re: Mitt Romney Endorses Jeff Stone for State Senate I'm really not sure you can make a reasonable connection between Romney and Scientology beliefs simply because he has endorsed Jeff Stone. After all there is absolutely no indication that Stone agrees with the Scientology belief structure. At most it looks as though he (Stone) is acting like a politician and cozying up to the biggest financial player amongst his constituents (The Church of Scientology). And while it is obviously possible that I have missed something, it does not appear that Stone has done anything demonstrably illegal yet in his career. I think it is helpful to remember that doing something that scientology wants does not necessairly look like being a "cult stooge" to the outside world. I'm not trying to say Stone is a paragon of virtue but I think everyone needs to be realistic here.
