If Scientology had a problem with the content of any of those videos they could have made a simple challenge via ToR etc. by now. If they thought it broke a law, they could have gotten details of the channel owner via law enforcement action.

But no, the videos are still up. Tying a name to 'no crime' is the kind of data that isn't worth collecting because it has no value.

Once again, please back up what you're trying to say.

I don't think this event had any information gathering value for Scientology, since it's been known for quite a while that gregg was controlling that YouTube account now.

On the other hand you do raise a sorta valid point in that if somebody who has been involved in "Chanology" commits a real crime in the future, they can point back at them and show that they were part of this thing.

There was no "suspicion" that Greg owned the account. He made mention of that as far back as June, on these forums, while creating the 8/8/8 vid.

Um, not really. Hosting a Youtube account is not remotely the same as evidence of a hypothetical criminal action carried out by someone who knows someone who knows someone who once watched one of the channel's videos. What you suggest sounds a lot like blaming Judas Priest for 'do it' suicide messages.

No, he's not doing anything illegal now, but if they keep the information they can say something like: "Look, this guy who robbed a bank and killed a child yesterday was an anti-Scientology protester 20 years ago."

That is, if OSA is still around 20 years in the future.

As I said, this current situation did not supply OSA with any new information, so 0815 was wrong about that, but the principle might be one you should remember.

What like maybe his stupid p0rn site which the last time I checked was hosted in China, and that *if* it were to be found (or even insinuated upon) that his site was hosting Falung Gong writings highly critical of Chinese government policy? His host gets raided by secret police in the middle of the night? I'm quite sure they would not be impressed with Mr Shaper.

Unlike the fraudulent Scilon DMCA claims, Scientology DID use original non-Co$ materual from Anon YT videos and websites to slander Anon in their FAIL black PR DVD videos. Any of those shared on YT? Filing DMCAs against those, or, when responding to fraudelent DMCA claims by Scilons, including links to material that breaks the very rule they are abusing in an attempt to silence critical POVs against their cultic BS, might not be a bad idea.

My understanding (and there's a whole lot of evidence that supports this) is that quite a few people have had access/control of the Church0fScientology account at various times. It would by nye on impossible to argue that any one person has been the "owner" from start to finish, quite a part from the legal irrelevance anyway.

This is true: they're dying, but yep, they're a way off from reaching the implant station just yet. But yes, they'll strike again...and unfortunately (if history is anything to go by) the strike'll almost certainly hurt them more than the target...but that's another story.

One thing I will give you credit for though, is that the Youtube strategy (at least so far) is the ONLY retaliation that's been even mildly successful. Kudos on that one.

That the NederScis thought "Wu Kapauw" was a real Leader of Anonymous was worth days and days of LULZ; the Marvin Gaye picture included was just the icing.

YouTube are obviously intent on deleting the video, so why not try things such as; MegaVideo etc.
