Okay… time to dig on youtube.

I am convinced that youtube's new policy on down-stating and censoring accounts has to do with its newfound popularity with the incoming presidential administration and the new transparence of government idea's expressed by said administration. All branches of government but the Supreme Court have youtube accounts and will be using them as a type of public address system. I think youtube is trying to dress its self up a bit.

However, given the ferocity of nuking anti-scientology site, I am cretin that scientologists have infiltrated youtube! We must make their name know! This will further our cause and the cause of unfiltered free speech.

I call for black ops on youtube! Fuck’em…

They deserve it after trying to censor everything that they dont like. I know we are for free speech but there are limitations. When someone abuse their religion to silence free speech then they must be shut down period.

The /vast/ majority of views will be on the original, as it's the one that pops up when you google 'scientology', and it's the one that has all the awards, and digg page, and gets passed around between friends. I'd wager there's less than 100k views /total/ on copies of it. I may be wrong though.

the view counter might be at 0 once again however people looking for this video will see millions to take place of the one that been seen over 3 million times....the more there is of this epic video all over the place the harder it is to look away.

People care about online censorship and freedom of speech. Now that an account (Church0fScientology) which was actually set up to fight takedowns and censorship, has itself been taken down...surely there's a story?

Media time? No?

Also, this could be a good way to get some interest going in the blogosphere. They've been fairly indifferent to date - and it contains influential readers, writers and access to resources we can only dream about - they may not care about Co$, but DMCA takedown abuse and freedom of speech are a different matter entirely.

There has to be a way we can get this to blow up in Co$'s faces (that's a metaphor 4 any of the fail brigade's lawyers out there)

If you want to pursue this course - and by all means do - look for media that mentioned that vid in their end-of-year wrap-up articles. Washington Post was mentioned earlier in this thread. Also, the Electronic Frontier Foundation took an interest last time our stuff got taken down. Both are worth harpooning, but we don't want to inundate them the way we do youtube.

I suggest anyone able to go back a few pages, find the actual phone number for youtube, and call them. Send more e-mails too when you have time.

Actually, the previous time it was taken down, the view count was fixed back. That was back when it was at 2 million.

If the battle of youtube is lost it will be a great setback to the war.

Winning of this war by Anonymous is unavoidable do to the number of possible battlefields in said medium and the need for scientology to win on all of them.

However I see no reason to give such a trophy to the scilons. We must find and expose deliberate attempts to subvert and sabotage Google/youtube by scientology.

I think it is time that Google got it's HQ protested. They control youtube. Make it big and get it on the news and they will either have to act or get every angry nerd out after them.

Been done, but by us? I know some people think this is a distraction but one protest wouldn't be a distraction. If we get enough of a stink raised, get this on the news, it could make Google take action to remedy this shit.

What do you think are the most viewed vid sites? Other then youtube and the "PG" sites. I think LiveLeak is up there.

The "Gary Scarff" who has claimed copyright for Anonymous videos is actually really Oliver Schaper again, according to 13heathens.

It could be that somebody is just using Oliver Schaper as a fake "from" address as well, isn't it?
