Re: Message from Larry Anderson I'd love to see Larry making a youtube video going: "Hi Tommy, I'm making a youtube video now. That is all, bye bye" Also, welcome back to real life. Good luck
Re: Message from Larry Anderson A little bit of support to someone who has taken a risk is a good thing to do. Sidenote to Larry: Anon culture as a whole is against "hero worship" so we tend to tear down our perceived heroes. Do your 'out of the closet' & information leaks thing on ESMB. It will be spread here. It will be widely appreciated. But, when you come here, just throw on an anonymous ID & be just another one. Give us your ideas & thoughts & they will be judged on their merits, not on who we think you are. Just my two cents to look out after you.

Re: Message from Larry Anderson I'm very glad that Larry finally saw the light and walked away from the Scientology scam. I'm impressed that he made the efforts to record his meeting with Tommy Davis and by how well he held his ground in the face of typically sleazy $cn tactics to "cave him in". I'm grateful that Larry went public and gave an interview to the St Pete Times, when he could have just signed a bunch of non-disclosure documents that might have gotten some of his money back from the CoS. But that said -- having seen that infuriating "Orientation" video many times and watching Larry's smug delivery of "That's just the way it is." at the end, I have to admit that Larry ultimately not getting his money back doesn't make me too sad. Let's just call it a valuable life lesson about what can happen to high-profile people who participate in and profit from Scientology's PR scams. CoS leadership is not your friend, and when you lie down with snakes, you will eventually get bit. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Needs to be sung at every protest whenever a high profile scilon blows.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson You are a bad person and you should feel bad about yourself. Right, because only scientologists commit suicide by jumping off a bridge or shooting themselves in the head. Option #3 is more accurate imho. I think Ron's behavior is best explained by a man who wanted to invent his own psychology, made up bullshit about a religion to protect it, and then eventually bought into his own bullshit.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Maybe there are some Music-Anon-Fags that can make a better recording? I crapped that out as best I could. The backing track is here:
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Also, this thread made me fire up Spotify for some old school Queen action.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Welcome to our playground Larry , just remember , no kicking , no biting or butting in the clinches, but aside from that anything goes.. one question though , as a magician , do you have a "beautiful" assistant ? , and can we has her phone number ?
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Larry, if you see this thread ^THIS^is the best advice you'll ever get.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Still full of piss & vinegar, I see. How.. exactly.. did Larry "profit" from the video? He got a cheesy photo taken with the COB? That should sell for thousands on E-bay. Not!! A struggling actor & Scilon asked to appear in a church video? Big whooey. What money that video made went into church coffers, not Larry's pockets. And I'm betting he didn't collect residuals, either.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson This is frikken totally awesomeness!! I have a feeling true too. More humans shaking out of the shell of CoS? We can only hope. Its nice to see someone's inner convictions triumph over total mind-fuck imho. I think he'll be okay. I feel this thing is all on the level we have gained (and I mean 'we' in the loosest possible Anon sense), a very good ally/ sauce thingy. YAY!
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Open Invitation to Larry Anderson: Larry, you were probably the only one who got the inside joke we posted about "Howdy Doody". If you ever would consider coincidinkly strolling along a sidewalk that Clearwater Anons happen to be, we would consider flying you here. We're not rich, but we are old timers, former hippie protestors, and just want the crimes and abuses to end. We cannot begin to fathom what you've been going through mentally given the long time you were in and your role in it. But we applaud your courage to come to Tobin and Childs at St Pete Times, as well as recording your conversation with Davis and Feshbach last year. You already know to expect the assaults on all sides from multiple angles. Those who least understand will give you the least credit for what you have now done. And those very same will be the ones who spit and curse because Ex's won't come forward and speak out. None of that matters. All that matters is you have your life back. It's all about one Ex, one Less, one at a time. Attempts at guilt trips are, you know, so Scientology. We Ex's can handle that! Just PM if you're interested.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson IANAL, but I have questions for the law (or maybe a CPA or two): If the CoS is declaring all of Larry Anderson's money on account as a "donation", doesn't that put him in a bit of a bind, tax-wise? I mean, having a $150,000 donation to the church - couldn't he have declared it on taxes? And, as a donation, can't he press charges against the church if they didn't use the "donation" money for the intended purposes (ie, for HIS future services)? If they use that money for anything else other than Larry Anderson's religious services, isn't that fraud? Just askin'
Re: Message from Larry Anderson This is an interesting question. There is a price list & they are paying for services. Personally, I think these complaints need to start going to State Attorney Generals. They are the ones who would act on this even if the IRS does not.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson I lurv yoo.... Actually that might work.... Hi Larry Hi Tommy Hi Jessica
Re: Message from Larry Anderson I don't know, but probably not. If you support a politician for office, and you take a tax deduction for that donation. Then if either the politician gets flack for taking your money because you did something socially unacceptable and returns it (this is common) or the politician does something you don't approve of and returns the money on your request you would pay taxes on that money as if it had never been donated. In the case of the politician the money all goes into a big pot, but with Scientology the donation was fixed. For example if you bought a ticket for a fund raiser that you could not attend. You could ask for a refund. But it is not expected that all of the money that you spent on a ticket for the dinner is used to pay for the food you would have eaten. I am guessing that when you buy services in advance it is a good idea to do it in a year that you make a lot of money from the sale of real estate or if you have capitol gains, and you can make your donation and deduct it off of your taxable income. I imagine that it is also possible when selling a business to donate the entire amount to Scientology in the form of a trust, that you can be the executor of the trust. For example an actress makes a million dollars on a movie, she can donate that money to Scientology and keep earning the interest off of it (about 50 K a year or so) until she dies. But this type of thing could lead to ponzi schemes if she doesn't actually keep control of it (speculation).
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Larry gets his untaxed money back from the CoS in a couple of months. He then declares that amount as income on his 2010 tax return and pays taxes on it.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Larry Anderson blows, Tommy Davis gets caught being a wanker on audio again, PLUS we get Queen videos, too. I AM LIEK HOW THIS WERK. Welcome to the fray, Mr. Anderson.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson This issue was addressed on the tapes in the SP Times recordings. In fact, it was something that Tommy Davis brought up. Larry is on top of it.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Not complicated at all. It was an intimidation from TD to mention it at all.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Well it seems to me that since the IRS knew in exquisite detail the financial and repayment practices and policies of the CoS BEFORE it granted the extraordinary right to scientologists allowing them to claim deductions for those funds, that Larry did nothing wrong when he initially put the funds on deposit. Provided he pays the tax when the $ is repaid (which he foreshadowed doing when Tommy D mentioned it - listen to the audio again or read the transcript kiddies), he's in the clear.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Hi Larry from Manchester UK. Sue and I (Tony, Parents) are delighted your not a victim of this CULT anymore. You have spent 33 years of your life devoted to Scientology, and now your out. We as Parents have been fighting to get our daughter and her future husband out for only 3 years, but we are prepared to add another 30 years to get our kids out. Please speak out to help all the CULTS victims, money is only important to the CULT, as your more than aware. We need to stop the Cult of scientology's mind control NOW. Take care Tony and Sue. xx PS We loved you in Mork and Mindy, nanew nanew.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Regardless of your assessment of Larry being a struggling actor, he was still a "celebrity" by CoS standards. Do you really think he didn't enjoy some special treatment? He was the face of Orientation, after all and you can bet that translated into some advantages within the church. Anyway -- what "piss and vinegar" are you talking about? I said I appreciated what Larry's done and the risks he took to speak out. I just don't consider him not getting his money back to be that unpredictable or fury-inducing. Its par for the course with Scientology, and many people who are less successful and less media-savvy than Larry have lost a lot more to the "church", that's all.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson In what state did Larry's donations take place? In what state did he ask for them back? I'd like to notify that (or both) state's attorney generals about the existence of the audio and the transcript of the audio recording when Larry Anderson asked for his pre-paid scientology services money back from scientology.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson LRH says he gets his money on account back... so he gets it back. That should be the end of it. Larry did a very fine job and I commend him for the way he chose to blow. Tommy (you fuck), the smart thing would have been to give it back without a lot of unnecessary noise. You idiot. Your own policies now backfire on you. The technology which was meant to keep things quiet and off the radar now amplifies the nonsense you purvey. You aren't as smart as you think you are. You are a good speaker, but a poor planner... and a massive deformed DICK. Now, you've created a firestorm, you douche. You and DM are STUPID for not seeing this coming 12 years ago and for not creating a new, even more ridiculously hilarious orientation indoctrination video for your fresh meat. Will Giovanni Ribisi be your next orientation spokes person? Will it be Jenna "AIDS is a state of mind" Elfman? Or perhaps Leah Remeni.. who I wish would start representing some East coast common sense for gods sake and turn the lights on. Tell you what... parade the 400lb fat actress out there on your 294" plasmas in front of olympic patrons in Vancouver and we'll be tickled pink. The way to Happiness Video is SO FUCKING FUNNY! You guy's should be completely embarrassed by it for the joke that it is. You have no real celebrities left. Travolta is his own man now, doing what he thinks is right... even though he is being misguided by your KSW motives. I respect the man and his desires to do good.. I just wish he would SHOW some effort to sort out the nonsense from the reality. Maybe one day I hope. Rubbing people's pressure points in a circular motion for 2 minutes who just lost both of their bloody legs under a fractured concrete beam is not fucking helping! Touch assists? Really? Larry, Go do some Nightline/ 20-20/ MSNBC/ NPR/ CBS/ ABC/NHL/ESPN/ whatever interviews soon. Strike while the iron is hot! Identify yourself - proclaim your shit!
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Best spoken words i have read for Years, I 2nd your True Statement my Friend.
Re: Message from Larry Anderson Travolta seems pretty much brainwashed still, but he's being cautions enough not to say the "S" word. But for all practical means, he's still a clam, and promotes Scientology. Bart Simpson sounds like another big celebrity still in the cult. As far as I can see Tom Cruise, Juliette Lewis and some others still get some press, so I'd say they qualify as celebrities still. On the other hand, I think they have absolutely zero celebrities from the '90s and 2000's generations. This is sweet. But we're still far from the day scilon celebrities are history. The day might be close, though
Re: Message from Larry Anderson I'm really sorry this happened to you, and admire your courage and dedication to the rescue of your daughter.
