Taking into account the cost of the holidays, and how some spend next year's money on Christmas, and enough warning for the day so we can save up for a plane ticket and any other expenses, and allowing anons to attend their local raids, I'd say the best date options would be January 17th, 24th or 31st. I'll post up a poll for these dates.

Re: Massive Gold Base Raid: The only acceptable response Who said Dec 25th? The Saturday before Xmas (20th) seemed to make sense to me for the reasons I set out - but enthusiasm is clearly not there. Feb 10th is a really dumb date for a raid focussed on trapped Scilons in the core bases way out of anywhere!!!!!! We need to be huge EVERYWHERE on the anniversary date so local and global media get lots of chances for headlines, pictures, stories. An anniversary resonates so much more if we're focussed on being back where we started a year ago - but bigger EVERYWHERE!!! The last thing we want to be doing is having media turn up to do a 'one year later - still at it' story and finding no-one there 'cos we've all fucked off to GOLD or wherever. How about early January? - a pre-anniversary, new year party at the main bases - leaving till March is too long after the gold incident.

Re: Massive Gold Base Raid: The only acceptable response I've been by Gold Base many times before as I have family that live in the Hemet Valley. It's a two-lane country road so be aware of your surroundings but try not to distract the drivers. A nice "ENTERING CULT ZONE" and "LEAVING CULT ZONE" about half a click away should do some pre-emptive justice.
