But trying to make the fact that People ran a story about something pretty normal (birthday party for daughter) into something damning is weak bawwwy. Believe it or not, many people can tell when a big deal is being made over nothing. It lessens their interest in what you have to say in general. It's like crying wolf. If you look at any situation hard enough you can find something to criticize. If no story had appeared in People there are some here who'd say "WHY THE SILENCE??? TYPICAL $CILONS!!" Nothing the Travoltas do (short of publicly leaving the cult) is going to be acceptable, so anything else they do (party, not party, talk to the press, not talk to the press) is going to get them criticized.

He supports a church that enslaves and tortures children and adults, traffics human beings, actively denies medical treatment to non-members who are unfortunate enough to fall under the influence of members of this cult, forces some of their members to have abortions as they claim to be "pro-life", has murdered some of its members who tried to escape, and teaches that whole swaths of the population should be "disposed of quietly, and without sorrow". If this is so, the safest and most appropriate place for Jett would have been in a hospital, where Jett could be closely monitored while necessary changes were made to his antiseizure medication regime and until he was stabilized and having seizures much less frequently. Intravenous medication is often required in situations like this, which is another reason why a hospital would be the right setting for Jett.
