Since the 1979 Iranian revolution and the downfall of the US Puppet Ruler the Shah, Iran has been an Islamic state. In that interval of time, 1979 to the present, Iran has not invaded anyone. Not once. People of all religions live in peace in Iran, even Jews, who find life so comfortable in Iran they refused an offer by the government of Israel to emigrate! In the same period of time, Israel, a self-declared Jewish state, attacked Iraq in 1981, bombing the power station at Osirik, claiming it was a clandestine weapons factory. Subsequent examination of the ruins following the 2003 invasion proved Israel had lied. In 1982, Israel invaded Lebanon. This led to the Massacres at Sabra and Shatilla. In February 2003 Israel stages incursions into Gaza and Nablus. In September 2007 Israel bombs Syria, again insisting they are destroying a clandestine weapons laboratory. Again there is no evidence to support Israel's claims. In 2006, Israel attacks Lebanon, killing 1200, mostly civilians, several UN observers, and littering the landscape with land mines on their way out.In February 2008 Israel again raids Gaza, killing over 100. HAMAS agrees to a cease fire and keeps it for 6 months until November 4, when Israel again attacks, killing 6 HAMAS members, launching operation CAST LEAD. 1300 Gazans, mostly civilians, are killed. Israel loses 13 soldiers. Violations of international law include the use of White Phosphorus incendiary bombs against civilians and non-military targets. The United Nations investigates, but Israel refuses to cooperate. In May 2010, Israel attacks an international aid flotilla bring food and medical supplies to Gaza in international waters. 9 people are murdered including an American from New York. Add to it the numerous assassinations such as last year's embarrassment in Dubai, and you get the picture, even without the overtly racist and apartheid statements coming from Israel's rabbis. In the same period of time, the United States, officially a secular nation but predominantly Christian, attacked El Salvador (1980), Libya (1981), Sinai (1982), Lebanon (1982 1983), Egypt (1983), Grenada (1983), Honduras (1983), Chad (1983), Persian Gulf (1984), Libya (1986) , Bolivia (1986), Iran (1987), Persian Gulf (1987), Kuwait (1987), Iran (1988), Honduras (1988), Panama (1988), Libya (1989), Panama (1989), Colombia, Bolivia, and Peru (1989), Philippines (1989), Panama (1989-1990), Liberia (1990), Saudi Arabia (1990), Iraq (1991), Zaire (1991), Sierra Leone (1992), Somalia (1992), Bosnia-Herzegovina (1993 to present), Macedonia (1993), Haiti (1994), Macedonia (1994), Bosnia (1995), Liberia (1996), Central African Republic (1996), Albania (1997), Congo/Gabon (1997), Sierra Leon (1997), Cambodia (1997), Iraq (1998), Guinea/Bissau (1998), Kenya/Tanzania (1998 to 1999), Afghanistan/Sudan (1998), Liberia (1998), East Timor (1999), Serbia (1999), Sierra Leon (2000), Yemen (2000), East Timor (2000), Afghanistan (2001 to present), Yemen (2002), Philippines (2002) , Cote d'Ivoire (2002), Iraq (2003 to present), Liberia (2003), Georgia/Djibouti (2003), Haiti (2004), Georgia/Djibouti/Kenya/Ethiopia/Yemen/Eritrea War on Terror (2004), Pakistan drone attacks (2004 to present), Somalia (2007), South Ossetia/Georgia (2008), Syria (2008), Yemen (2009), Haiti (2010), etc. etc. etc. etc. So, who is the danger to world peace?
^^ Don't try to change the subject of this thread. It's about iranian gov internal policy of killing peaceful protesters. You support a tyrant.
Perhaps if find an answer to this question: So you believe it is not enough?,You will answer your own question.
@anus: abuse of human rights is abuse of human rights, regardless of who does it to whom. Once you wrap your head around that and stop treating this like it's some damn international football game, the sooner you'll wake up and smell reality.
I surpose you may be right however if it is completely legitimate it is certainly being supported for political reasons not for the purposes of human rights. The fact that the rights abuses in Bahrain and Yemen are be ignored is good evidence to back that point up.
you can bet that is right Not nesecarily and completely wrong! you are trying to get away with the fact that it is being misused for the purpouse and benifit of theocracy of clerics in Iran which has only religious purposes and no policy under no circomstances legitimize it to be abused politically. Who said that they are being ignored? is it becouse you find the fingerings of Iran in the nigburing countries is not giving the same fingering effect as khomeni did to Iraq and prolonged the lifetime of tyrany with bloodshed. I do not think you are showing the decency of clearing it to the forum that, you do in fact want to be a part of the regime of terror by bloodshed and are here to o purpuse but to suite both khomeini and Khamenei. So you believe it is not enough?
My point about that is that if you tun on the news which countries are we foucusing on and which countries are being told that there regime is no longer legitimate and they must go. inconsistant stance to the same problem!
You have no point but I included last. Just read these two links and find out about the inconsistant stance to the same problem which is in fact about the fingering policy by the regime terror of Iran to interfere neighbouring countries to promote cleric theocracy which is not political. Link 1 Link 2
Yes, all is peaceful and harmonious... Except to those who dare to voice their opinion against the regime. THEY are the reason this forum exists.
And naturally, The number of site members would increase by at least 60 million more, based even on those not qualified to vote, yet want the regime fall, if it was not for filtering tools.
I don't read arabic but I dont think your understaning my point http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Yemeni_uprising#International_reactions http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Bahraini_uprising#International http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_reactions_to_the_Egyptian_Revolution_of_2011 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_reactions_to_the_2011_Libyan_civil_war http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Syrian_uprising#International pay perticular attetion to the US and UK's responces
Maybe this is the key to your problem. But you could always use some tools if realy interested, which I do not think you are showing it by not answering the questions. So I take it for granted that this is not something for you. Why?
OK Bahrain peace activists put down by a force of the saudi army US responce- US President Barack Obama said he was "deeply concerned" by the violence, while US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton urged restraint. Syria activists put down by force US responce- The government is no longer legitimate sactions given libya rebels try to take down the government gaddafi responds adn send troops US responce- no longer legitimate bomb libya support rebles we know little about yemen activists put down by millitry police abduct people from schools US responce- US President Barack Obama said he was "deeply concerned" by the violence Egypt uprising US responce- saying the protesters have legitimate concernes but trying to support mubarak till the end
So you contradict yourself, by not finding any inconsistency. That does not go! If you are here, not having any one to talk to, I advise you to find some one as touchy as you both agree, It will go for you two too. But please do not do among dead protesters.
seriously?!? everyone on here is fighting just stop it!!! save your energy for the real fight and nit each other!
