A coordinated effort between canadian, irish, german, american anons, and a still growing project, we proudly present, leakwire.

Our main goal is to look more closely at the 30 years or so of diplomatic cables leaked on wikileaks 2 years ago. Then from the source material, build a comprehensive database of articles related to the issues raised by these findings.

I'm happy to say we have a solid dedicated team and that things have gone quite well and are bound to get even better soon.

    Without further ado:

Do you mean like news articles, or editorials, POV's?

I'd offer to help but god knows where that is going to end...

Looks good. Whomever is hosting the site must be a complete hunk too I'd say.

I went to the website expecting a link to a large set of emails I could download and query at my leisure, maybe uncover a conspiracy or something. But there were, like, five boring articles only.

    I am disappoint.

We will have a searchable database of all cables and leaks used for articles over time, not all features are live yet ;)

    I fucking wish!

Ok, website might go up & down for a few days due to some tweaking we have to do behind the scenes. If leakwire.org doesn't work, you can alternatively use http://anonireland.com/cablegate/ which should remain up throughout the changes.

Sorry about that. Having to fix shit means that we are actually working on this ;)

If you'd like to dig through large database of leaked cables and uncover mysteries, we always welcome authors, come chat us up on irc :p

Launching a site on the day your tech support goes protesting a cult isn't a good idea....

There is more to come, it just takes a bit of time to get the machine running smoothly.

The articles are starting to flow now. A lot of the material currently there is from Operation Leakspin (which ultimately died because folks there stopped writing about the cables).

Some new and updated analysis on a shocking case: http://leakwire.org/2013/08/the-case-of-khalid-el-masri/
A detailed look at how the US gets countries to participate in its rendition program by using Ireland as a case study: http://leakwire.org/2013/08/ireland-shannon-renditions/

It's a seed. Give it time to grow some more.
There is a link to the wikileaks cablegate site download, but that's a hefty 60Gb uncompressed and has no query capacity. You'll need to run a server locally and get the 2Gb SQL file that is floating around on the torrents if you want to do this locally.
