I wasn't clear. When I spoke with her, she neither confirmed or denied. The quote in the mod box is from someone else who spoke with her.

I believe that other person, of course, but when I asked her about the badges she simply said nothing.

I believe I was the first person to call her. (Not at all sure, though.) So my thought, because I strongly distrust this woman, is that she thought about it, realized what a problem badges would create for the county, and made sure to reply very clearly to everyone else.

But that's such pure speculation that I wasn't going to post it.

I am, however, going to continue to rely on what she said to me, regardless of what she said to others. She neither confirmed or denied it to me.

Fair enough.

And hopefully the county is not going to be giving out IDs.

I still have concerns about the $cilons bring their own psuedo-IDs and flyers if no one is keeping a close eye on them though.

There are three viable bits of speculation concerning the badges:

One, they will be making the badges themselves and pose as county employees, which will get them in srs trouble for obvious reasons.

Two, the county themselves will provide badges, wherein the county AND the Scilons will be in srs trouble for obvious reasons.

Three, no badges are made at all, Scilons go door-to-door as themselves, and effectively do all of our work for us.

So as you can see, nothing good will come of this for them. This will be a big part of the meeting, but most of this depends solely on what we observe on Saturday and from there we will know which direction to go.

(If you ask me, I would put down money for Door #1.)

(Also yes, I couldn't sleep. I feel like I'm going to fucking Disneyland tomorrow, my adrenaline is that pumped up.)

I don't believe it would be good if the Scilons persuade people that they have government sanction to say that they are persecuted members of a minority religion, and Anon is the hate group doing the persecuting.

What's good is that if people get interested and google, that's total win for us.

Yeah, my money would have been on #1, as well. But they've probably spent more time in this thread than any anon has.

We really need to stop helping the Scilons out. They never send thank you gifts or anything. I'm beginning to think they might not love us, after all.

The comment was in to your last remark about the public that they reach to doing their own independent research, discover the bullshit, and dismiss these whackjobs entirely. There were more than several instances of this happening on a local scale here in San Jose in the past, and I have no doubt in my mind that the same thing will happen again.

Keep an eye out for flyers that resemble, but aren't, the county printed flyers too.

Badges or not, I wouldn't bet on them not trying a deal from the bottom of the deck.

When does someone offer mediation after being accused of crimes?

Grrr...Ken "Keine" Hoden dragged out the Portland shooting as well. He also neglected to mention the shooter was an African man with mental instability who had just lost his life's savings to the cult and wanted his money back. When refused, he snapped.

If someone were to complain to the cops about people going door to door in a community where permits are required for that behavior, it could be lulz.

If the scilons have sneakily laminated their own fake County ID cards, moar lulz.

I would ask this woman if she has been given that booklet Jeff Stone was given. I would show her the KESQ clip where Nathan Baca challenges the "facts" when meeting with Tommy Davis.
You know, the one where TD denies cult involvement and finally admits it.

I would then give her a copy of Facts About Anonymous and Scientology, it is a good overview w/ history, Hubbard quotes, judge's quotes, and first hand accounts from ex-members and critics who have had their rights violated and worse by this evil cult.

I would also bring a copy of Allender's email and challenge her on the veracity of the content.
Where are the police reports for all the vandalism etc. Allender claims? Where is the evidence that we are terrorists?

She needs to be made aware that not all religions are benevolent. And that Scientology will lie, cheat and steal to get what they want. TR-L, baby!

This whole thing is ridiculous. I never imagined that anywhere in the US would someone try to do something so blatantly illegal as to use government resources to harass people for only expressing their constitutionally protected rights.

If anon was doing something criminal then anon should be charged with a crime instead of using this backdoor method of accusing anons of crimes but not charging them.

I asked if there was a SOUTH Carolina presence. The answer appears to be No for Anons. Note sure if there's a cult presence.

I think the answer to both is "no". The G'boro org closed last year, and I'm not sure what happened to their presence in Charlotte. I think whatever it was that existed in some strip mall in SC is no longer there.

The Carolinas are safe. From scilons. I think.
