Leak: OTVIII's email about combating Anonymous in San Jose

This email was leaked in the San Jose planning thread, but probably deserves it's own thread as these sort of actions by may be repeated by the CoS in other cities. Also, the email is somewhat lulzy in a crazy zealot sort of way:

What I find disturbing is they will be able to say they are COUNTY EMPLOYEES.

They always do this. At the Santa Parade in Hollywood, we ran into several scilons asking to move along, but pretending they were working for the city. Their attitude and demeanor gave them away. I hope they act just as creepy when going door to door.


Perhaps...if there were enough anons...some could see the people meeting up at the "churches", see where they go, and drop by the same houses. Following the scilons around just a few feet away might look creepy, but hitting the houses with correct info would be great. If I hear them doing this in LA, I will do it if I am free.

I would call the San Jose PD and look into that supposed "comment" from one of their own...

Also, I find it funny to see a scilon spending seven paragraphs to basically say "let's do a flyer raid!" If we wanted to do a flyer raid, we would just say "lets do a flyer raid," not "blah blah blah *2 pages later* lets do a flyer raid."

And those scilons are definitely NOT county employees! Someone from the area needs to forward this to the county, and have them called out on this bluff!

You won’t be going as a member of any religion but only as a concerned member of the community."

Lol, at the very least somebody in the area may want to inform the county that these crackpots intend to go door to door misrepresenting themselves as county employees with these bogus ID's they appear to have created for themselves.

If this really is an "official" county activity it should be easy enough to confirm. The citizens of the county have a right to know how their dollars are being spent.

CONFIRMED. I've spoken with McKee-Stovall.

I take this VERY seriously. She is giving the Scilons state authority to call Anon a hate group.

She's on the Scilons side, she said that Anonymous is being a group that harasses people trying to worship freely.

The county did indeed spend scarce tax dollars on a flyer.

She didn't comment when I mentioned the fraud verdict in France, but she when I started talking about Australia's possible investigation into CoS, she said, that's not the United States.

I pointed out that I know Australia is not the United States.

It looks like San Jose Anons need to step up and either counter-flyer, send IRL corrections to this person, or counter-raid. The local press may be interested that Santa Clara County and Delorme McKee Stovall are using tax payers money to sponsor the Church of Scientology to pose a county reps to hand out flyers to the South Bay community that slander local citizens who protest and criticize Scientology's abusive practices.

Perhaps publicize that she feels it's her job to decide what is and what isn't a hate group.

I also spoke with her this morning. it did not go well. I had called her in August 2008 and gave her a lot of information about fair game and all the rest, answered her questions about why we were protesting, and at least two other locals had a talk with her.

When I called her today she asked if I protested other churches. I explained that it was not beliefs but actions we were protesting. She seemed very unaware of CoS history, even after we had given it to her in Aug 08.

She did say she had been observing the protests for the last two years and says she saw thing that led her to issue this latest flier. She says she isn;t calling anon a hate group. Yet Allender is. And she says she can't control his actions.

I did send her a link to the APA lady calling scientology a hate group.

Also occurs to me that she never sought out anons to talk to them, even though she's spent the last 18 months observing the protests and talking with the scilons.

Oh well. I had thought her to be willing to listen, Now I wonder.

Sounds like the county is supporting deliberate deception of the community by Scientology.

It would be good if some of the Bay Area anons/ ex-Scn protesters could confirm if the county is in fact shilling for the CoS, as described in the email.

Counter-flyering with some of the quotes in this E-Mail might be productive.
Most local citizens won't like the idea they need to be told what to think, especially by cloaked members of a batshit crazy cult claiming to be county employees.

What are the insurance ramifications of adding these employees to the county roster. What if one of them injures himself while working as a county employee?
Have they gotten background checks and drug tests like other new employees before being sent around the neighborhood by the county?
