If "targs" is what I think it is, this could be epic. I will listen to the lecture and do my Moonbat 1930's-1950's research on the subject. In 1952, LRH was still in the phase where he was covertly ramping Thelema and some other arcane stuff into his tech. Hubbard was allied with an L.A. underground cult that did rituals deep down in one of the levels under Forest Lawn in Glendale and out in Mojave near Boron. Hubbard in 1952 was not the final product. He was in a strange place in April, 1952. Jack Parsons was still alive and was a spiritual/PR threat to Hubbard in some ways. Parsons would die in an explosion on 17 June 1952.

Hubbard was into "entities" and "Implants" majorly for a while in early 1952; he was experimenting with an early (Mathison) e-meter. A lot of things that were incorporated into Scientology years later (officially and more seriously) were touched upon during this period, including the idea that those who are critical of Dianetics/Scientology were "low toned" and should "have no rights," etc.

When Hubard returned to "entities" in the 1960s, it had become SECRET and DEADLY SERIOUS and VITAL TO YOUR SURVIVAL for the "next endless trillions of years," etc.

It was in the 1960s that Hubbard took all the verbiage and ideas from earlier and wrapped it up in a 'Totalist cult' package.

Incidentally, "Targs" is an off-hand Hubbardism for the "N" word. Targs are supposedly the "N"s of the universe, per Hubbard's racist mind-set, this made sense. Hubbard saw most Scientologists as Targs or Targ-like and treated them as HIS tamed and obidient Targs.

This seems to have been put out there by a Freezoner - the recording - as a kind of damage control, since the transcript was already floating around. The usual line of "I don't believe this, but" is used. That's a phony line. Freezoners love to say, "I don't believe it, but" or "I don't believe in Xenu, but," etc - to 'wogs' - so as to not appear crazy, but if you look closely they regard with reverence Hubbard's words, and DO believe it.

Excellent analysis Boogle. It would make sense for the FZ to release this preemptively to the citizens of Earth. I listened to Hubbard and Mary Sue conduct what was an e-meter based seance in which Hubbard channels for, and psychoanalyzes Theta. What I understood from this tape was the basis of Hubbard's later claim that he alone was chosen/selected to rise above the bank.

The data itself is traceable to many sources including Thelema, the Ufology of the period, science fiction, Madame Blavatsky, Hinduism, and all the way back to the Mystery Schools of Egypt. Hubbard updated it and gave it a 1952 Scienobabble overwrap. IMO, Hubbard took the classical concept of Judeo-Christian demons and reconceptualized them into problematic intergalactic entities that could be handled by an auditor and a meter as opposed to a priest, holy water, and a crucifix. Hubbard thereby migrated classical demonology into Science Fiction and then legally converted it into a religion. Hubbard was an evil genius.

I was amused by Hubbard and Mary Sue enthusing that they had trapped an entity and had it under interrogation in an Electronic Seance. Ron and Mary Sue were the early Men in Black, policing Earth by arresting, interrogating, and deporting trouble-making extraterrestrials. Perhaps Will Smith was seduced into Scientology by Tom Cruise telling him that Men in Black was based upon real, actual events that could be proven by the e-meter.

To clear up your misapprehension: I was speaking with respect to the Battle of Universes tape itself when I mentioned that Ron and Mary Sue were conducting an electronic seance. What else would you call this exchange between humans and a discarnate entity, or entities, that was facilitated by the use of an e-meter? IMO, that is an electronic seance. The tape sounded like Dr. and Mrs. Hubbard conducting a seance in which Ron channeled the entity as Mary Sue asked it questions about its intentions relative to our universe. While this was occurring, Dr. Hubbard, or the entities controlling his body, appeared to be psychoanalyzing Theta by explaining the defects that leave Theta vulnerable to attacks from other universes such as the Number 21 universe. If I were CoS or the FZ, I would claim that LRH had traveled into the future and saw intruders coming in on Port 21. Absent some sort of spin here, Ron and Mary Sue look to have laid down a full house in the game of moonbattery with a pair of aliens and three entities. That is a hard hand to beat, metaphysically speaking.

There is something of value in what J Swift contributes - a perspective from somewhere nearer Hubbard's own times that can shed light on what the deluded charlatan himself believed he was doing.

I can appreciate that such discussions might not be what WWP is all about, but it's not like Swift is spamming the forum - it is natural and legitimate to want to discuss the content and context of the leaked audio here in this thread, IMO.

His is not the only valid interpretation, of course. The whole value of these leaks is that they *are analysed and discussed by whoever, in the clear light of day.

This ^^^^. I always find that what J.Swift contributes is relevant. No-one who has not dabbled himself or at least understood what other people have dabbled in can hope to understand the 1950s and where LRG and Scientology came from.

But I don't believe The Master had the education or the resources to go all the way back to Egypt for his material. He pulled a lot of different ideas together but I think he must have picked up the occult ingredients at second hand from A Crowley or similar.

No, I don't think so, either. It's clear from this tape that he is searching for answers to fundamental questions - the kind that cosmologists shrink from contemplating, but that every schoolkid who ever heard of relativity or Quantum theory boggles at.

Being lazy, greedy and narcissistic, he chooses to make use of his own superstitions as the basis of his 'method', only succeeding in deepening his own delusions (re-inforced by random artifacts of the cans and by his compliant young wife).

It's an extremely revealing little piece of the jigsaw puzzle, IMO - what you hear is the practice of the occult, as they called it then. In our more enlightened times it's more usually referred to as 'some BS he pulled out his ass' - it's the same thing.

When I referred to material from ancient Egypt, Hubbard would of course taken it from OTO via Crowley. Specifically, one of the basic religious question since time immemorial has been the relationship of spirit to matter, or what Hubbard relabeled as Theta and MEST in order to copyright concepts that had been in the public domain for 6,000+ years. In a monotheistic religion, spirit and matter are fairly easy to conceptualize because one God is in charge and mediates traffic between Heaven and Earth through an intermediate celestial hierarchy of archangels, seraphim, teraphim, and angels.

Hubbard developed a modified Gnostic system in which he made himself the Demiurge, the Creator of the Tech. One can see evidence of this in the tape as Hubbard talks to Mary Sue about Theta. LRH placed himself in the position of having the Oracular power to decipher what Theta did, and did not do, in its work in the MEST universe. Hubbard is presenting himself in this 1952 recording not as your average clairvoyant, but rather as the Master, the Demiurge, the Source who will reformulate the universal rules and relationships of spirit and matter by use of an electropsychometer and the "exact tech" that he will later claim is the only way out of the 75,000,000 year old trap. Clearly, the tape is proto-OT and offers a valuable insight into the workings of Hubbard's mind and his emerging grandiosity.

What I found to extremely interesting was the soothing, pleasant voice of Mary Sue Hubbard. She and Ron sounded very companionable. In context, Mary Sue was born in 1921, so she was only 21 years old when this tape was made; Ron was 41 years old. Here is the timeline for the tape:

Feb, 1952: Mary Sue becomes pregnant
March, 1952: Ron and Mary Sue are married
April, 1952: This tape is made

In Mary Sue, Ron had a devoted wife and follower. She "tracked" with LRH uncritically in the tape. Mary Sue would become the second in command of Scientology until her arrest and imprisonment Operation Snow White. Her participation in this "electronic scouting" shows her to have been present at the creation of Scientology.

In 1952, Dianetics was in deep disarray as was LRH's personal life. Whenever LRH experienced stress or failure, he announced an grand expedition such as his underwater filming expedition, his mineralogical survey of Puerto Rico, or his radio navigation expedition of inland passages from Washington State to Alaska. He then hyper-inflated the importance of these expeditions. In context, then, this tape shows an LRH pattern: Dianetics has taken a nosedive in the press, Hubbard has had very bad press from his ex-wife Sara Northrup, and he needs to make money. Thus, he goes on an expedition in search of spiritual secrets that he can use to transmute Dianetics into Scientology and make himself God, and a wealthy God at that, in the process.

Most of your analysis of what the old fraud was attempting to do, and what his sources were, is probably very close to the truth. But, in what I quote above, my take is rather different. I hear a pretty pathetic Hubbard, gleefully manipulating and prodding a young, compliant wife to do his bidding, who sounds afraid of him. People today would most likely characterise their relationship as dysfunctional or codependent - which is borne out by the disparity in their ages.

I don't usually go into these topics but today I will since it's halloween and unsettling tl;dr is coming!!!

When a person feels their survival is threatened individually or as a race, one type of response is to become larger than life through a product or service. Another type of response is to gain power through religion. Another is through politics. The purpose of this is of course to assuage the negative emotion one is feeling.

This can be seen from the Russian Oligarch's, this can be seen in the Rothschild family, this can be seen in President Obama. This is the drive that makes our world innovate and rise to greater heights.

The disorder of this, comes into play when the person feeling their survival is threatened is incapable of humility. To truly be powerful, you have to be able to admit when you are wrong and grow from your own failure. This drive in a disorderly fashion can be seen in Adolf Hitler, and it can be seen in L. Ron Hubbard. Both men I mention were genius in their own right, but from certain errors of judgment they caused massive pain and suffering.

Hubbard was unable to show humility, and assigned blame to... space aliens. At the beginning stages, the blame is placed on the reactive mind. Later, it is placed on one's own inability to confront and the different concepts/agreements attached to that. And then later, the reactive mind is tossed and in its place are incidents and body-thetans.

This level of paranoia comes from hubris. It's insane. Regardless of what the human condition faces, placing blame with an inability to create a product or service or even an action... that is higher and more powerful than your attacker, will ultimately lead to failure.

Marc Headley being called a "mega declared SP"... Marc said something like, 'Well COB is just a major, so that means I outrank him in the entheta world?'

Do YOU think Marc is a bad guy? He's got balls of steel as far as I am concerned. And why does he have balls of steel? Because he has humility, he has a heart, and as a result... he has a fucking fist that is backed up and self-actualized. He has honor.

Hubbard, Tommy Davis, Miscavige... they're walking constructs. NO power, except monetary power. And because of their own ineptitude, they can't even make that go right.

No wonder Hubbard hated bankers, higher financial circles, psychiatrists, tax men... organizations and people who have more power and earned more power through humility, drive, and knowledge that if they didn't do something, people as crazy as Hubbard, or Hitler, would ease their way in. These people are adults, Hubbard and company are annoying children.

I've posted my insights into this a few times in other forums, and as it is time for my annual Halloween Taunting of the Clams, this seems a good time for some expansion on the subject. I'll simply preface this by noting that, in an effort to "know the enemy", I began to study Gnosticism and the ancient Mystery Schools in the late nineties...

In an effort to explain the relationship between Spirit and the Mind/Body construct, there was proposed to be a "plastic mediator" between the two, a sort of translating virtualization layer, if you will. In the metaphor of The Matrix, this would be the hardware/software process of The Machines which produces the VR environment the Humans are stuck in (Gnostics seem to have a propensity for Prison imagery, perhaps because the whole Jailbreak thing is seductive to potential apprentices).

We know now that Energy and Matter are the same thing, and essentially are just vibrating at rates a number of octaves apart. As an Energy Being encapsulated in a MEST construct, simple resonance and sympathetic vibration are sufficient to perform the function of the Plastic Mediator. If you've ever done the grade school experiment where you ring one tuning fork, and then a second tuning fork in the room begins to vibrate, you have a basic understanding of the concept.

Where greater complexity comes into the picture is the presence of all the other MEST-VR Constructs (we're up to what, eight billion of us now?) and the mechanism that binds them into one common VR envronment of shared perception. I shall note that Resonance can be extended to the artificial singularity at "the top of the pyramid" and back down other channels, and that it is possible to use Resonance much in the way of a radio carrier wave. This is, in fact, the root mechanism of Psychic Phenomena and the experience of Telepathy.

A classic example in mainstream Christianity would be the account of Pentecost, where the diciples had "living flame" over their head, and anyone they spoke to heard their native tongue. This is as straightforwad and unadorned an image of what we really look like, and telepathic communication, as you will find in such works. Also, please reference the old Persian accounts of the Jinni.

The trick is to "tune in" to the right frequency. I suggest using an ELF carrier, namely the gravitational fluctuations associated with tides as a starting point. Indeed, if you can lower your perceptual threshold sufficiently, you should find your sense of Balance to be the Sixth Sense.

I'd also like to mention that, as enmeshed as we are with MEST, that the mechanisms of Perception in the mind inevitably come into play. The issues that muddy the waters here are the fact that we all have essentially three brains: the Reptillian, Paleo-Mammalian and Neo-Mammalian brains, all with somewhat faulty interfaces with one another. Then there's the "meta-brain" of Perceptual Process, which accounts for various telepathic (or Theta) communication being projected to our awareness as various Gods and Monsters, if you will. I recommend a reading of Arthur Koestler's The Ghost in the Machine.
