Glowing transgenic cats could boost AIDS research
Glowcat haz approves this thread.
Ain't nobody here got a life, so enjoy this lovely video of a kitten getting manhandled.
I'm not getting into that one. Too controversial.
I'm an every type of animal person, but I've never ventured outdoors. >.<
Dont bother, I've been there, its overrated!
Can i post pony's?
That's what I assumed, then this morning my mom was like:
"Get your work permit application today, you're getting a job this summer."
It means I'll have to...
I prescribe a one Kitteh by daily for each of you

Oh and god bless the Japanese.
I won't lie, me and a friend of mine spent about an hour looking at pictures of kittens once...
We're Going to be juniors in highschool..
Its funny I think I could actually look at kittens all day. It may improve concentration but I bet productivity is way down.
One kitteh a day and eventually we shall rule the world bwahhahahaha!
Protest for peace?
Protest for cats!
Oh my god no.
So much cute.
I was getting all relaxed looking at pictures of cats at that link, but then there were pictures of dogs and other animals and, frankly, I just got confused. No disrespect to any of the animals intended.
Ah, but you see I am a kitteh lover so I ignore the dogs and others because, meh!
FUCK THE KITTEHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok I lolled. Just look at that cat tho, not even vaguely worried! How cool is that.
Needs more Komodo dragons/tigers.
Guys, my Kitteh is very hurt. Her entire side is ripped open from a tractor field chopper...
Going to post mass amount of pictures because she more than likely won't make it through the night...
;/ I've cried all day, I don't even cry about human family this way.
I don't believe in God, but man do I wish someone would answer my prayers.
I am so sorry your beautiful kitteh got so badly hurt Stellalea, thinking of you and her.
I hope I'm just being pessimistic and that it's really not as bad and awful as it looks.
Hi sweetie...have you taken your kitteh to the vet yet?
Best wishes to you and kitteh, Stellalea.
can you take her in to have her looked at? Cats are sooo resilient, if she got the wound cleaned out, and stitched up, some pain meds, and antibiotics, she might pull through...
but the longer you wait, the more likely infection sets in ...
hoping for the best for your kitteh.. poor sweetie
I am very young, and have no control over what happens to her.
My parents will decide what needs to be done.
She made it through the night and has limped to the kitty-litter box a couple of times only to return herself to hiding under my father's desk.
My sincere condolences Stellalea. I hope that it will get better and maybe all is not lost. Hard to say since I am not a vet nor do I wish to see any hurt kitteh pics.
You should have your parents take it to the vet. Perhaps it will get better? Worst case scenario: They can alleviate the poor cat's pain in its final hours. Still, I must strongly encourage you to have your folks take the cat to the vet regardless of the outcome..
I am sorry Stella. Perhaps you can take a clean cloth and try to clean her up a bit. I've nursed a few pets thru some bad stuff just by keeping the clean and comfy. A lot of human stuff like anti-biotic ointment will work on kittehs too.
Hopefully your parents can take her to the vet.
Stella, take that kitteh to the vet immediately.
Even if your parents can't or won't pay - take her anyway.
Here is the update, my disclaimer is it's pretty gross so you may not want to read.
So we found my cat Khaleesi last night when she came to the door.
And today I was looking at the huge cut on her side and saw all these little squirmy nasty white things in a dip in the cut...
She had MAGGOTS in her.
We took her to the vet and they flushed them out of her cut and gave her anti-biotics.
Now she just needs this clear cream gunk put on her 3 times a day till it's healed.
They were itty bitty and deep in the cut so my parents didn't notice when she came home late last night.
Thankfully they don't eat living flesh so they didn't eat into the dip in the cut.
She has no broken bones.
Here she is, the vet shaved around the cut and trimmed it a bit you make it flat, so no maggots will hide under the flaps of skin.
The ointment for her is designed to close of the skin from the air, and maggots will not be able to inhabit it, and it will also speed up the healing.
PS: Maggots are a therapy for human patients with dead tissue (necrosis). Strangely enough, they might have helped too.
