June 13 - Washington DC - Post Game Report Nothing major in terms of assaults or any major accidents. However, we DID nab the guy who assaulted ron jeremy. We pointed him out to police, the police chased him down and they questioned him and got all his information. He was NOT arrested, NOT ARRESTED. There are no official charges yet, the information has to be forwarded to the detective in charge of the investigation (who also has a video of the assualt) who will make the determinations and file charges. Thankfully, he was stupid, just standing across the street and watching us. Prosecution will hopefully follow. More to be posted by others!
re: June 13 - Washington DC - Post Game Report HK has the essentials right: We did see Reinhard Koenig, who began to flee once he saw that he had been seen. The police were already on scene because we noticed a suspicious package, so when Sparrow and I gave chase to RK, they gave chase to us. We eventually got him stopped about a block later, and the police pulled him aside. As HK said, they did not arrest him, but they got all of his information and are going to turn it over to the detective in charge. The detective will take it to the courts, and a judge will have to make a determination about whether or not to put out a warrant for Reinhard's arrest. The charge, according to the police, would most likely be simple assault: maximum penalty of 180 days in jail and/or a fine of $1,000. Vid on the way.

That's going to have to be up to the detective. I overheard Reinhard tell the police that he DID NOT go back into the Org after the assault, but we already turned over the video that shows him going back into the Org. Furthermore, the police who questioned him today were the ones who responded to the incident back in April, and we know that they were told by the Scilons that he was still in the building and if they'd just wait around, they'd bring him downstairs for a talking to. We all know how that turned out...

This is pure speculation on my part, but as their numbers get thinner and thinner, they will be putting EVERYONE that's left out front to appear more active and prosperous. If they're so thin that they can't spare even one person who may or may not be wanted by the cops, their days are very much numbered. That said, it is a good strategy to keep that appearance up - once the orgs appear completely abandoned, they have no hope of recovering. 2) I hope the cops, in questioning him, made sure to demand he make himself available for further questioning, and emphasized the trouble he'd be in if he once again 'hid.'

We had already reported the bag -- the police went through it and didn't find much of much -- but apparently someone much more panicky placed a call. Will post more as I learn more.

re: June 13 - Washington DC - Post Game Report We called in the bag after we couldn't match it to any of our protesters -- I think, actually, this was the call that got the police on scene who ended up questioning Reinhard Koenig -- but the bag itself didn't seem to get them riled up on an initial investigation. Scilons may have made a follow-up call. I don't know at this point.

Not long after I got there, a fairy godmother and protege diverted from the Gay Pride preparations to stop by and show us some appreciation and do... other things. It was a fairly standard affair -- with a super dead Org -- until we saw Reinhard Koenig, but we've already discussed that. I haven't shamelessly posted the video in this thread yet, though: One of the Gay Pride sub-parades ("Dykes for Visibility" marched by and seemed as surprised to see us as we were to see them; and so, in mutual states of surprise, we showed each other some lovin'. Public seemed supportive, except for one who insisted I was a coward (been there, done that), and I left a bit early.

Advice dog was good to go, sure am glad I brought cake because nobody else did, although my cake wound up getting all melty. Pride was indeed fortuitous. We had so much public support; people lol'd heartily, danced to our music, and chatted us up friendly-like. I was talking to two dudes who wanted to subscribe to my newsletter, if you know what I mean, and telling them about the assault on HT when this other dude came over and started listening intently. He was, I think, South Asian, and he was holding a big stack of scilon literature. We had a bit of a language barrier, but he was very interested to learn that the literature they had given him was all lies; we talked for about 15 minutes and at the end he shook my hand and said "thank you so much". There was a preppy dude in a stripey polo shirt who was taking closeup pics of people with his camera; I'd seen him before and we'd talked and he struck me as a little off. If you're worried about him, other dcfags, I don't think he was a scientologist; I think that he MIGHT be a civilian who might get his jollies by trying to figure out who we are. When I spoke to him at a raid a couple months ago he was more interested in why we're anonymous, what anonymous is, etc. than in scientology. At the end of the protest, MaidofWin was chalking on the triangle and some cop (not our usual cops who know us) came over and put his foot down about two inches from where she was writing and said "You're going to get arrested in a minute." We looked at him in WTF? and he then said "You can't do that." I told him it was legal to chalk sidewalks, lifting up my mask a bit to do so, and HT told him she'd called the mayor's office, etc. He asked who she'd talked to, trying to use his I AM A BIG SCARY POLICE OFFICER BOW DOWN TO ME voice (which is bullshit) and she told him she didn't have the names, so he said he'd call and then deal with it. He called while we pulled the names from the forums, and we asked if he wanted the names and he said "That won't be necessary" and drove away. Anonymous knows the law better than the police, apparently. Unfortunately, I noticed after talking to the police that there was a dude taking pictures across the street; I'm hoping his camera wasn't good enough and/or the angle was wrong so he didn't get a clear picture of my face. If so, oh well, I want a C&D before all this is done. Oh, to everyone wondering why Reinhard Koenig wasn't arrested: It happened so long ago that they do not have a warrant for his arrest. As your civil liberties exist to protect scientologists, too, they had to let him go after getting his info. Which will be forwarded to the detective. Who will probably go to a judge and get a warrant. The officers told us it was highly likely that Reinhard Koenig will be charged with simple assault.
