    Org condition: Dark Org!

The binds are all down, the ground floor lights are off and there's nothing in the windows. Something is going on.

I'll pass again in a few hours.

You have the right to peaceful assembly, but you do not have the right to disturb other people's peace or safety and you certainly don't have the right to disrupt business for unrelated store owners who just happen to operate in the area. Basically, yes, you have the right to protest, but you can't just protest anywhere or whenever you like. I've argued this with the police many times back in the day. If the store owner says you are disrupting his business then you are causing him damages, and the police have no choice but to tell you to break up the protest / go somewhere else.
And technically, in Toronto, you're supposed to get a demonstration permit from the police. However, they never cared about that before when it got to under 20 people protesting.

    OK

don't block the entrance to the business or store
  8. TorontosRoot Member

We usually protest on a large part of the sidewalk in front of and outside of the Country Style coffee shop's fenced patio. The entrance is facing east, we're to the south, where there isn't an entrance at all.

    Tonight they are closed.

Right now, the only lights on are on the 2nd floor, the overhang lights and half the Scientology sign. (LOL!) A group of five were at the org entrance, someone came to the door, talked to them for a minute, and then they turned away and left. No courses or nothing tonight. Weird. I'll post pictures later.

Edit: The lights are on on the 2nd floor, but nobody is home. Maybe they're all out in Mono doing EPF stuff?

I feel mad at myself just writing this, but unfortunately, I have to make a last minute cancellation. My ride today cancelled on me (again) and I have tried everything in my power to find other means of transportation, but everything seamed to fail. I will not be attending on the 16th. I wish you all the best of luck.
  11. TorontosRoot Member

Not to worry, we'll bring back teh lulz :)
  12. AnonAtomBomb Member

Could you film this one to? I guess if I can't be part of teh lulz, I could at least see them. :/
  13. TorontosRoot Member

I'll be glad to film when the action happens :) PS. I hope I catch some OSA and goons that are/nt Scilons :D

The quality is poor because I was using my phone.

That's dark and gloomy. Quality would be moderate since I use my phone allot to grab snapshots. It would be about the same.

^ LOL "ology" - org can't afford fluorescent lights?

Maybe if I was familiar with the settings on the camera program it would have been better.

It was actually darker and gloomier. The glaring bright bits were only illuminated, and everything else was darker.

There were no lights inside the org entrance, and I have the impression that the person who opened the door (the crabby oriental guy) wasn't sitting at the reception desk but came from elsewhere in the org. The 2nd floor lights were on, but I could look way back into the 2nd floor, and I didn't see anyone at a desk or moving around.

"ology": Obviously some of their lights have blown the org!

This is what it used to look like at night (probably another Friday night too):
    TorOrg003.jpg
Note the stuff stuck to the inside of the windows. There was nothing tonight.

Isn't Friday night when they have the presentation of Wins of the week for people on course at the Foundation org (nights/weekend)? (Yo Wiseman of the Watchtower!) If so, being closed and dark is a sign that something is totally fucked up, or they had some All Hands situation that required everyone be elsewhere on short notice. (Else why would have that group of five have expected the org to be open?) They might as well have tied a big grey rag around the building.

Damn, Scientology watching is an interesting hobby. I'm going to miss it when they're gone. (But only a little.)

Tomorrow's gonna rock out. If we PM the ones who're coming, it might confirm who can or cannot arrive besides who said they cannot come.

The topic of permits never came up during several years of OG pickets. Sometimes we would file notifications ahead of time, sometimes we'd call 52 div on the morning of. (All of which were peacefully [on our part] conducted in front of the org.) Then again, all of our protests were under 20 people.
  20. Durham_Anon1 Member

Well we have one Tango down (weren't you the event creator?) I will show a little after 12 or so and will stay till 4 unless there is like 2 of us (hope not). Please tell me it will be more thean me and TorontosRoot? If so I think it's safe to say Co$ raids in Toronto are over.
  21. kittypark Member

    sounds fine

    good luck today!!
  24. kittypark Member

Better to see the signs then the asses
  25. TorontosRoot Member

Even if there's two anons, it's better than nothing at all. We need to continue until the Org is closed for good, once that occurs, a massive victory raid should happen.

I'll be there after 12, at the country style or the block north where we last met.
  26. Durham_Anon1 Member

I agree that only one Anon is enough to take on the entire org but the Co$ seeing our numbers dwindle has got to make them feel like we are giving up.
On the train right now, see ya there

I'm waiting one block north of the cult where we last met. Arrived at 12:50pm.

Edit: might go in for the raid solo until some more arrive. The weekend country style manager is standing outside watching for us. I don't want to have the man calling the cops on me, nor do I want to stray away. I'm currently at the second cup. Nice and hot out today. Breezy, which is ever so helpful.

I'm right across the street from the Starbucks on Charles and yonge no one in sight?
  29. Durham_Anon1 Member

Well so far just me and root?
  30. stay safe guys, and have fun
  31. Durham_Anon1 Member

Can I haz 2 man raid?
  32. TorontosRoot Member

I walked the bike by the Live Green festival on yonge, nothing to do with the cult was there. Same for mill lastman square. I just wanted to make sure. If there was any part of the cult, I'd be raidin'. ;)
  33. DeathHamster Member

Sorry I couldn't be there today. Was the org open for business?
  34. TorontosRoot Member

We closed their blinds and they gave us lulz. :D

Were the lights on inside, especially at the org entrance?
  36. TorontosRoot Member

Close to an ant hill as you can get, just not many culties, maybe 8 at most.

Edit: Yup, lights were on, people inside.
  37. kittypark Member

Halifax ended up being a two man raid, and none of us live in the city, half of us came from out of province for it. We had free cakes too.
  38. TorontosRoot Member

Heh, so it was about the same as TO.
    Was it lulzier?

PS. Video footage coming up. It's encoding now.
