Well Ocala is in Marion County. If any Florida fags think Herro's proposed idea is sound for some lulzy potential, the authorities can be called along with releasing something to the press stating the Anonymous protesters have no knowledge of if this was an Anon or just some dumbshit thinking he or she was funny. Whatever the argument, my suggestion is to work through the authorities. Its much safer that way and keeps them aware of how we run this, or in case Scientologists act rash.

Really I just took glib's idea and ran with it. Does that make you feel better?

  8. I agree with Herro's logic, that is most possible it's some random dude, or someone working solo, but the only other benefit to be had by the CoS is the timing of the article. Given their shit storms of Rex the Murderer, and Jan the Justice Perverter, the fact that they needed the chance to be the victim again is what tips it off to me that it's more likely to be scilons.

Plus as someone else said, they made sure not to get any paint anywhere else except the window. So it's Vandalism, but it's victim friendly. The only hypothetical group that benefits from victim friendly graffiti is the cult itself.

    1. Cult probably did it (duh). Obviously not anybody even half serious about opposing the cult, since it would have been 200% pure fail for that purpose (100% fail to accomplish desired outcome and 100% guaranteed to accomplish the opposite outcome = 200%). The "news" articles have a distinct OSA PR setup stench. If dumb kid instead of cult, then dumb kid is exceptionally, obnoxiously dumb (which is possible, yes, but likely suspect is likely).

    2. Cult security cameras FTW; hammer them on that point good and hard, forever.

    3. Don't ever give money to the cult. How anybody on this site could seriously suggest doing that is beyond me.

    4. Tactical thinking = great. Now use your damn head. Instead of handing a bunch of cash to the cult, stupid, offer to hire a pro window cleaner to remove the graffiti. That accomplishes the same tactical goal but doesn't give the cult more joogoldz to spend attacking whistleblowers and seducing the naive.

    5. It's late, I'm sleepy, and why is my mouf so fuww of cocggghhhhhhhxxxxxxxx

not even anything like that amount, unless they insisted on paying some specialist overpriced graffiti removal team.

$20 for a large can of cellulose thinners (because it is most likely auto paint areosol) or for some proprietry graffiti cleaner, with just little bit of extra elbow grease prior to doing a normal clean of the windows.
Cleaning graffiti off glass has got to be the easiest because the solvent doesn't damage it (and you can get high at the same time thus making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience).

Would the media publish a story if scientology received a $20 bill from an anonymous donor? Send the money to the local newspaper, not the cult. (note to JohnnyRUClear, I appreciate what you are saying, and no it's not an admission of guilt either).

The lulz in getting the press to report "anonymous donor" would be poetic and make a point. It'd be like "orly? which 'anonymous' would that be then?....the nice old local granny anonymous or just the 'nasty' mask-wearing 'hackers on steroids' anonymous? or some other yet to be defined anonymous"
  11. see this right here ---> [/sarcasm]
learn it, live it and love it, bro.

think the way the cult does.... in their eyes it would be an admission of guilt and something they would run with. IMO
I hope nobody sends anybody anything

*sigh* The only press that regularly covers anti-Scientology activities is the St. Pete Times. Sadly, the Times no longer pay any attention to Clearwater/Florida Anonymous because they chose to get into bed with Rinderburn. I was told that they would only cover Anonymous related activities if we had more than 50 people show up for a raid. That doesn't happen anymore.

We have worked diligently here in Clearwater to maintain a good rapport with the police department. We do have a contact with the Tampa Police Department who is now contacted when we are going to raid in Ybor and so far the police over there have been receptive to how we protest and there have been no problems even when we protested at Fiesta Day. Ocala looks like it might be a different story. Zee and Lulz have done a fantastic job up that way and Clearwater has made the long trek north to help out, but I'm thinking Ocala is going to be pretty much like Ybor: just there for public sci's and Travolta.

I'm not sending the cult a dime because I don't believe the press would pick up on it and there's also always the chance that the press would spin it into "Anonymous pays up for graffiti!" That's just my opinion. Who knows? Maybe if someone from Cali picked up the check for cleaning the window it might get press.

    Good luck.

I think a $cilon was trying to do a sign for 'Criminon', didn't allow enough space, and thought it was spelled 'CrimANON'.

We should just hire a window cleaner. Don't give any money to the CoS. Make sign to have there as the window washer does his thing. Sign should say these windows being cleaned courtesy of A n onymous. Take many photos and spread to media.

Extra credit if window washer wear Fawkes mask.

if you don't think COS would exploit that in a HUGE way, you are crazy
    sorry, no dis intended

I'm with Right On; it's a massively stupid idea and I'm the "nice one".

BTW I'm fairly certain it would have been cleaned off already. If not, then just more of an indication that they are behind it, because they want to wear it like a crown of thorns.

    Don't fall into a tarp.

If you guys want to hire a window washer, feel free. I'm not going to. I might show up (with a camera) to knock on the door to let them know that what is left of the Ocalanons didn't have any part in it and that we're sorry someone resorted to vandalizing their building, but I'm not going to donate my money to cleaning up their windows. If, on the off-chance that they didn't spray the windows themselves, it very well could have been a drunk Ocalan who feels closer to Anon than Scientology about their presence downtown. There are a lot of bars downtown, and there are a lot of people who do not welcome them to Ocala. If we find out who did it, we'll consult local law enforcement.

tl;dr we'll offer our sympathy but not our money.

Some college age kids joined us for a picket once. Later, SCIENTOLOGY KILLS was spray painted on walls and in alleys downtown. Wasn't our crew. But I still thought it was amusing.

Getting that paint off of the windows would be about a 10 minute job. Whether it was the cult or just some goofy kids who did the tagging is really immaterial. The cult clearly sees it as a benefit, otherwise they would have simply wiped it off straightaway instead of spending days baaaaaawing to the media in an orchestrated attempt to maximise press coverage.

That is a very good point, it wouldn't take 10 mins to clean off the glass. Indeed it's only on the glass, which could be chance or design I suppose.

I can see both sides of the argument for doing something about this, but if localanons aren't interested the rest of us can't make them do it. Each cell does it's thing.

Also, the "window" of opportunity is probably already gone. Betting the windows have already been cleaned by now.

Keep an eye out for more of this shit in other places to see if a pattern is established or if this is just a one-time event (whether it was the scientologists or some dumb kid that did it).

  40. and then the fapping began
