Its been a year since we've raided the scilons in the middle of the week, so we decided to exchange Friday with Thursday and enjoy having a raid without the pressure of missing the bus as they stop working for Sabbath at noon. We've had 7 anons along with a couple of newfags who've experienced their first raid evar. We've had LOTS of activity, and the Scilons broke their usual silence and called the police. Since we've made them remove their old, seriously dirty, dusty Dianetics Van last year, they resorted to putting up an alternate form of advertising: Bicycles. Or rather, bicycles with a yellow, medium sized "WHAT IS SCIENTOLOGY" sign, and lots of personality test forms. Naturally, we had to help them advertise the truth about things by replacing their CoS flyers with Anon ones, and their bicycles were covered with a sign. Fix'd. Unfortunately, our message of truthiness seemed only to anger Mordi (the Org's head honcho) who kept refusing to speak with us and show us the impressive skills he learned at his Communication courses, but it did prompt him to call the police and use the usual excuse that we're "disturbing a place of business" We've roamed Rothsschild avenue and delivered all of our flyers. We've met people who never heard of CoS, as well as people who did hear and were glad that we're doing what we're doing. And ofcourse, lots of people who simply recognized us from last time. That was when we decided to sit our bums somewhere and sang a Hebrew version of Still Alive. Anon has guitars. On our way back as we went past the Org again, we've noticed that Mordi removed our signs and restored the flyers. So obviously, we fixed his bicycles again. The second we did, we spotted him coming out in a fast walk and a TR stare, walking toward the bicycles. We buzzed off, laughing our heads off with the realization that this could mean only one thing: He actually sat there for over an hour, observing his bicycles, waiting for us to come back. As far as we can tell, he probably kept guarding the bicycles for god knows how long after we left. We're so doing this again. <3
Re: Israel - February 2009 Wow you guys are legendary. Good singing too. But I have to ask: I thought the Sabbath started when the sun is going down on Friday night, so shouldn't the buses be running at least to about 3 PM? (Official sundown is about 5:30 pm, but the sabbath starts when it begins getting dark around 5 pm right?)
Re: Israel - February 2009 awsome raid was awsome! and it was sooo hot. (I'll hope you all north anons will have nice weather in your raids and won't freez to death) we wanted to protest in the middle of the week because it was nice not to run for the lest buses (we stayed much longer them 3 pm and had a nice after party) and there where much moar people in the org and in the offices near, some people that worck in the same building came to talk to us. they didn't know what C0$ is. (or maybe they were scilons....) the police man was so anoying, it was like: 'take masks of NOW" "don't want to" "OK so go away NOW" "free speach, right to protest bla bla we don't want to" "OK so just don't stand infront of the entrance to the building"

Re: Israel - February 2009 You've got it right, Vir. But businesses and public transportation close up earlier to give time to the employees to get home in time before Sabbath enters. Most of the country is not religious, but the religious parties managed to get the Sabbath to be legally enforced, so... you could say its one of the very few religious laws we have to deal with. Thankfully, unlike in other countries, this means CoS *must* shut down in Saturdays, or they get fined. And you know how CoS just loves to part with its money.
