Is this site available for the people of iran to see? They need to know what's going on in their own country from the outisdes point of view.
For the time being the site is viewable from Iran, to our knowledge it isn't blocked yet. We will work on keeping the site available as much as we can from within iran methods we will look into could be : HTTPS support for secure connections from within Iran, setting up a tor node as proxy towards the site or alternatively spawn a small network of dedicated squid proxies to relay the site in cases the forums or our ip's get blocked.
Thanks. Let's hope it doesn't get blocked. I hear internet acces has been blocked with sites such as facebook and youtube being prevented access. I will post some videos from the last couple of days from what's going on inside Iran. People need to see what's going on. The whole world is watching the people of Iran. They have the support of many around the world. Freedom to Iran! It's time to make yourselves heard once and for all!
Blocking I think it's safe to assume direct access to the site will be blocked sooner rather than later - but I think it's also safe to assume that collectively we'll quickly build ways to go over, under, or through any blocks...
I saw interesting graph from another site I would be curious if admins could possibly keep us update on any logs showing traffic from Iran.. (technically most traffic would come through proxies as soon as this site gets blocked)
