    Tear gas is a catch-all phrase that describes any number of riot control gases, in the same way band-aid is used to describe any bandage. I think it might be a cs gas (o-Chlorobenzylidene Malononitrile) which can cause anything from mild eye irritation to copious vomiting.

    It could be a CR gas but that's much more likely to be fatal (if the area it is distributed in isn't ventilated, death can occur in minutes).

    i agree. i was in the united states army, and we were required to experience cs gas. the results look identical.
