Arrrg> I posted at like 3 am for this spot and I swear I hit save. Blast.

OMX!! Wait till you you see the pix! We had CELEBRITIES: Pokeman, Super Mario and Princess Peach were there, and XENU Itself rode by waving from a red convertible before joining the masked merrymakers.

We all know SoCal Anons can style, and Saturday, thirty five-plus members rocked with red carpet readiness and perfect prom passion (note to self: cut Style Channel watching in half). My but we clean up nice! This raises the bar for Sea Arrrg. In addition to fashion we had CAEK. And fruit roll ups, gummy bears, sparkling cider, etc. Very elegant. Cheese much appreciated. PROTEIN and casiomorpins

Waffles got into the Red Bull and probably still playing awake table tennis and making collages out of old National Geographics. We must watch Waffles, too much Red Bull and he could end up hooked on the hard stuff, like Rock Star or PitttBull

TMZ camera guy in board shorts and flipflops was there, and said no celebs came in at all. We did however have plenty of Scientologists drive in. Our signs were on point and effective, getting plenty of positive response from drivers who honked and waved. Two very sweet adolescent girls from the neighborhood got all brave and came over to talk with us. (If you have their photos, PLEASE blur their faces before posting them, they are minors and I would prefer to air on the side of caution about putting their faces up.). A grown up couple walking their poodle gave us the thumbs up and stopped to talk, and another nice guy and gal wanted fliers and to come out for June 14th.

We got responses from Scientologists too, who looked up set or tried to look away. One Sci woman passenger in a Porsche stuck out her tongue at us. Nice confront! Way to KSW!

Four fail trolls showed up with anti-Anon signs. Those who have picture of them, please compare to the pics of Granny Panda from May 21 and SadSign Lady from Friday, the type face looked the same to me.

Security had, what seemed to them anyway, a rough gig; Langham bought the hotel in January, and mgt has never had to deal with something like this.

Later I learned Tory was invited by a hotel guest, someone she knew who was visiting from out of town, to go inside with her dates, and she had her own experiences with security (her post about that is below), but overall security tried as best they knew how. And actually IMO, hotel security stepped up and did went beyond their required duty by crossing the street and discussing proper behavior with Trolls. That was actually pretty cool of them. And appreciated. see http://forums.whyweprotest.net/15-breaking-news/ias-ball-post-game-may-31-pasadena-dm-tc-16505/2/#post311312
for hotel security dealing with Trolls.

BTW, trolls showed up at 7pm, so I guess they had to be mustered in.

Yes, the police received complaints, probably from Sci in the bushes, we had them snapping shots at, cruising by in a SILVER VEHICLE. If you have that car's license plate, please PM me or Nom_anon. Very important. Oh, and btw, OSA, if you are reading this, you stalked the wrong person. In sooo many ways.

About 7:30 a squad car came and a pair of Anons spoke with them. The Anons who dealt with the police, when asked to remove their masks, expressed the desire to move to a more secluded area, then explained Why We Wear Masks, while complying with the officers' request. The police also seemed curious about the issues Anon were presenting (RPF/child labor, asbestos and fraud), and seemed concerned about Fair Game. The cops just wanted to make sure we obeyed the laws and stayed out of the streets, didnt tie up traffic, etc, and since it was towards the end, they were not a buzz kill at all. And what's REALLY cool--they wore JEANS and flak vests.

Thanks to everyone, all the charming and chivalrous Anon-guys, (especially the ones who walked me to my car!) and lovely ladies of Anon. I am not gonna name off all people who were there (cuts down on OSA's ability to put names to masks--LOL!) but suffice to say, those of you I met for the first time--I hope to see you very soon; and to those I know, it is always a pleasure.

Looking forward to reading all your reports and seeing the vids and photos!

I have absolutely no excuse for not being there last night or tonight. I was tired as fuck yesterday due to sunburnage, but today I had the means to do it but I didn't go and for that I apologize. I'll try not to be such a damn cheerleader next time I don't plan to step up myself

I'm just glad there's no sec checks here outside of thunderdome

  7. Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

Ok, here are my pics. Not sure when I can have the video up.

They sent out 4 fake anons this time! They refused all offers of hugs and tickles. I don't think they had a much fun as we did.

So did any headliners show up? Did a clown car show up and Tom Cruise, DM, Nancy Cartwright, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, Jason Lee, Jenna Elfman, and Tommy Davis spill out?
  9. Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

Jason told me earlier today on the phone that he didn't know whether or not DM would show up to this thing, and he was unsure of whether he has in the past. He didn't say he wasn't, just that he wasn't sure.

I so fucking hope he did.

I just got home. Everyone should be safe, me and George are the ultimate escort team.

We protected Anonibot, Dokimu (I really hope I spelled that correctly) and Pikachu with the utmost care and lost our followers. I just hope they made it home alright as far as after they got off the train. But we did our best Kone, hope you're satisfied. :)

The four fake-anon's who came got pwn'd by me, the camera girls and one picketer (sorry I didn't get your name bro, you were awesome with handling the curious passerby while I worked) oh and Princess Peach! I bull baited them the whole way and made them say some stupid things. Thanks to the girls who helped me with the chants, you guys seriously rock! :D

And to finish off our perfect evening, me and Anonibot had a silent slow dance together, and George filmed it! Hopefully it'll be up soon. :) I'll post more stories later.

EDIT: Btw, I accidentally left behind a plastic bag with a black collared shirt and a few pamphlets in it, didn't think about it until we were long gone on the bus. Did someone get it?

Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

Tory, Rowan and I actually got into the hotel after the raid broke up. I have to say it was a fairly small event. We walked around outside by the pool -- you could see the balcony off the ballroom, and there were maybe 8 people at the most mulling about. This was a far cry from the types of events that were held in the '90s to be sure. I don't know how many people that ballroom holds, but I think it's less that 500, probably less than 300.

Oh, I should say they had the hotel security on us the whole time. They said they had received calls telling them that they felt like they were being watched like circus animals. This only 5 minutes after we had walked through the lobby! Such drama queens.

On our way out, one of our numbers used the word "cult" in passing, and a lady Scilon immediately cut in (from several feet away, I might add), "Sir, it is not a cult!". They are trained to respond, to certain things anyway, rather decisively!

This was one of my favorite raids. The good folks of Pasadena supported us with their honks and thumbs ups. The police were very nice too. All in all, a great time was had by all.

Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

There was a lady who walked by and asked what we're protesting (as if the signs didn't make it obvious) and we told her "Scientology". Then she told us that we're actually advertising Scientology by doing this.

Sorry if my dad's presence put anyone off, even Tory was concerned for a moment hehe.

Oh and enturbulating the counter-protesters was hilarious!
  19. Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

There are surely some anons out drinking at a bar, or raiding Waffle's parents liquor cabinet right now , but I have yet to consume alcohol in a group atmosphere after a raid.
I move that I get to drink Patron or Don Julio (or similar) in a bar with some anon after the June 14th raid.

Can someone else second the motion?
  20. Hieronymous Member

Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

I think not talking about how fucked up Scientology is would be advertising. Sucks it wasn't as huge as I pictured the event would be, but then neither is Scientology!

Cool you got to chill inside the hotel though, they didn't even kick you out being non-guests and all (I've walked into a hotel before, relatively well dressed, sat down and was immediately asked what my business was there, but then again that was San Francisco)

WTF, fake anon cunterprotester failfags?! That is too fabulous!

    Yes, cunterprotester. I went there.

Come Sunday. I will bring cookies.

Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

Thanks relyT, that was a really fascinating video. We kind of realized a while back that fake anons (Scilonbots) would try to disrupt Anonymous peaceful protests. These may be Scilons who have to do "amends projects" for lower ethics conditions, and asking them about their lower conditions, amends projects might help to dissuade them (quite apart from the quoting of OT3 story with Xenu and body thetans to get them to run off).

I loved the cute Anonyladies (Prettynonymouses) in the great prom dresses. Very colorful and higher toned (emotional vibe) than the usual over-serious Scilons.

I look forward to seeing more and rading about this epic win event. It looks like one of the best so far. Amirite?

LOL that was me. I tried my best to pronounce it clearly, but I was behind the mask and all. My fault for choosing a bizarre nickname!

Thanks for being a total gentleman and looking out for us, Anonibot and I have been downtown in the middle of the night on the bus before and hoo boy it's nerve-wracking for a couple of girls! :tinfoil:

Especially in those tight red dresses... La.

Total win, thanks for the escort :flowers:

Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

I had a fantastic time tonight! Everyone looked wonderful in their dresses and suits and there was a full assortment of yummy snacks from gummibears to blue(asbestos)cotton candy to cheese and crackers and even sparkling cider! Yum yum yum.

It was a great turn out (how many were there? 40 or so?)

As soon as we got there, we noticed a woman sitting alone at a small table set up on the sidewalk. We're not sure what her purpose was, but she sat there alone for the majority of the protest, simply sitting on her phone. Shortly after we got there, a swarm of official looking men in suits stating that they worked for the hotel asked to "speak with our leader" and then asked "who is in charge here?". They claimed our "permit had been denied" (interesting as no permit was ever applied for to begin with) and that we were to have no music, be as quiet as possible, stay out of the sidewalks, etc etc etc...or the police would be called and we would be asked to leave. Throughout the rest of the protest, these men lurked on the very entrance watching us silently and periodically claiming they had gotten complaints from guests for everything from our music being too loud (at that point, our music was so low I didn't even realize it was still on), to guests supposedly complaining that we were photographing them coming in and out of the hotel.
At one point, the police were even called and a few brave anon stepped forward to demask and discuss everything with the police. They were very cool and understanding and let us go about our business. Props to the Pasadena PD for being so willing to let us do our thing. They were nothing but cool to us from the first phone call regarding the protest to the very last anon going home tonight.

There seemed to be QUITE a bit of support from the community, which were were concerned about as the hotel was in a VERY rich and fancy neighborhood and we weren't sure how well we'd be accepted in an area like that but we got a lot of honks, cheers, waves, people walking by and asking questions, etc.
My favorite was a woman who, when driving out of the hotel, was informed of the Scilonball happening there and why we were outside, stated "Scientologists? Ugggghhh!!! I'm SO glad I'm leaving. This hotel sucks anyway." hahahahha!

The counter-protesters were hilarious. They couldn't seem to answer the simple question of why, if they were holding signs claiming Anonymous was a bunch of horrible bad guys, were they wearing Anonymous masks and trying to "blend in" with us. You'd think it'd be more productive to stand out, not wear the mask and be like "We're not with these kids, doods."
We tried everything from rational discussions to snarky comments and could barely get a headturn from them. Ignore, ignore, ignore, right guys?
I also enjoyed chasing them around with my own sign and constantly standing in front of them and holding my sign in front of theirs. Cockblock. Annoying, isn't it boys? I've learned that they also get pretty frustrated when you run ahead, walk in front of them and then.....stop. hahah. They just walk right into you like a cat to a screendoor, poor boys.

They eventually wandered off and as the sun set, our Anonyprom came to a wonderful close.
    Many Anon were followed.
Guys, you think we honestly don't notice?? Really? You think this scares us?
    Guess what WE figured out.
YOU won't do anything. Nothing. You won't get out of your cars. You won't approach us. You won't say a thing. All you'll do is drive. If we stop our cars and walk up to you for a nice polite discussion, you drive off. How is that supposed to be skurry? Tisk, tisk, tisk.

Thanks to everyone that participated tonight. Thanks to the 3 anon who showed up with terribly inappropriate signs, but were cool enough to alter/hide them when I asked you to and not throw a hissy fit when I went all buzzkill on you. Thanks to everyone that brought food and to all the hot FemAnons who showed a little skin tonight and thanks to COS for bringing the lulz.

Oh, and Samaker, don't worry, your sack o' stuff is safely in the hands of a couple of Anons. You can snag it at an upcoming protest.

Hieronymous- there more fun than I can organize in my brain. You were missed.

That being said, before I post my round up in OP I want to share this email I got from someone who wants to be anonymous.

    Ahhahahah. Anonymous partypooper!
  31. Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

Well wow, that was fun and tiring. Whoever brought that red bull? Was really good. Kept me on my feet. :D I love how people actually told me "Waffles we always keep an eye on you" that made me feel very good inside making sure I know I'm not alone incase something happens to the yougin' <-. I also "cockblocked" as Noir said, their signs. In the end their effort was lulzy. Only one guy talked and he talked very quietly. It was pretty damn pathetic. I'm only sure that they'll be there at another raid for sure (as always). They only stayed for like 20 minutes yes, I only noticed them for about 10-15 and forgot all about them.

Near the ending not many people knew a group of anon went out to dinner. It was very fun, we had a very big group and an amazing time. It ended around 11. We all got home safely (as far as I know) and we all made sure we weren't followed. So all in all this was an amazing night. Thanks :D

Anonymous and Critics at the IAS Event

Today was Scientology's IAS (International Association of Scientologists) Event in Pasadena, CA. The IAS is where Scientology bleeds thousands, even millions, out of their members, promising they'll help mankind. It wasn't until I left that I learned a bunch of this $$$ goes to paying off legal things (PIs, Attorneys, etc) or paying off people!

Anonymous decided to dress up and picket, and this they did!
Hopefully there shall be some photos, as some of the people
    looked awesome.

I arrived with my friend near 5:00, when we were told it began. It's at the old Huntington Hotel/Rich-Carlton Hotel (new name now)---gorgeous hotel.
It's in a lovely, tree lined, gorgeous home area of Pasadena. As we drove up, we saw an OSA goon/lady sitting at a table at the corner of the driveway, on her cell phone. What was she reporting up to OSA? Too weird.

Anons arrived in droves----bringing not only food, but drinks, crackers cheese, gummy bears, you name it! We had a feast!
The odd thing is I don't think I saw *a* Scientologist drive in.

Security IMMEDIATELY came down, and told us our boundaries. Then 4 more came, one with a cane who ended up being a TOTAL jerk---later in the night, which I'll tell ya about. So we continued to picket.

XENU arrived in a red convertible! That was fun, as always. Sorry I didn't get to say "Bye" Barbie.

I'd been in touch with an Anon from SF who said he was going to rent a room in the Hotel, and he said I could come in and meet his wife and new baby, if I wanted to. So he showed up, and we went in.

Immediately the OSA Security were cruising around all over the Hotel, to the point of serious obnoxiousness. We went to his room, and I met his wife and baby, with my friend Roan who came, too. Gorgeous hotel.
They said they had seen Cruise while there.

Ok, so we decided to go to the dining room. As we walked there, we passed the IAS Members Only event---and immediately the security from
the hotel were on us, again. It was a bit odd----as the IAS event seemed
to be in the middle of the Hotel, so where ever you went, you were passing their ballroom. Now, this may not be the case, but not intentionally, that IS where we kept ending up. So of course, the guy with the cane comes out----------AGAIN asking the Anon with the room, "Who are you? DO you have a room here? What number is it?"

At this point it's getting offensive--------as it's obvious Scientology is hounding him, and he us...even though the one of us HAD paid for a room there!

Ok, we finally go into the bar, and have drinks and snacks, and chat and laugh and enjoy the music. Then we decide to walk out to the pool, and again end up by the IAS room. Again, Security (3 of them) are on us----why are we THERE? We say, "Come on man, we are going to the pool!"

So they give us some kooky route to take, so we don't offend their other "Clients" (Scientology). Yah............right. Literally, where ever we went,
you could see them, as they had a patio that jutted out over the pool, too. I could see some OSA jerk on his cell, and sure enough, there were security, again. ARGH!

We all agreed this was, for a hotel, one of THE most offensive things we'd ever witnessed,
especially for a 5 star hotel! My one friend needed to go home, so we finally said goodnight to each other, and we all said good-bye.

My other friend who had come in said he stayed with the Anon for another hour, and yes, the IAS event did let out and people came into the bar, where they were. We all have agreed it just didn't seem that big.
In years past, the IAS events often had 2,000 people at them. I'd guess this had 200? Like I said, NONE of us say ANYONE driving in. Either they came earlier, or had some secret entrance. We'd driven all around it, and there didn't seem to be a back entrance, so who knows? If anyone does, please fill us in.

There was *a* photographer there, hoping to snagg some famous people. I asked him if he saw ANY Famous people arrive (as we sure didn't). He said, "No---none".

We went out to say "Bye" to all the anonymous there. As always, it's great to see them. I told them the above--------thanked them, and off they went. Hopefully they had tons of fun again tonight

    See you all sooooooooooooooooon! :anon::alien::guyfawkes:

Hey Sam, I know the Anon who got your bag, I'll inform them about it.

BTW to all, it was tons of fun tonight! I love how awful their signs are becoming. If I was someone passing by, I would totally think they were talking about Scientology.

    FUCKING-EPIC-FAIL-SIGNS!

Everyone looked swanky and sexy as well tonight for our prom! There were some really harsh Scilons at the end, including my favorite Tom Burpee, and I hope the asses in the car who thought it was funny to almost hit an anon's car with theirs, get what those 'puthies' deserve!

Re: Anonymous and Critics at the IAS Event

hmm odd...is it possible most of them were already there, as in staying at the hotel since at least yesterday?

then again if TC was there and nobody saw him maybe they held something more low key...

Re: IAS BALL POST GAME MAY 31

Agreed. I've also seen a video where a Pro-China protest passed and several Anon started shouting 'Free Tibet'.. forgot where it was.

Things like that fail for breaking unity and because irrelevant topics could breed resentment (and ignoring messages to learn the truth about Co$) from outsiders looking on thinking that is also part of the protest.
