I was a Victim of Narconon

LOL they used to print a non-disclosure agreement on the back of issued checks where you would endorse it. They claimed it was a binding document. The courts disagreed, so I don't think they do that these days.

Patrick Desmond wasn't a junkie. Not before he got caught by the criminal organisation known as the "church" of $cientology.

Families might believe this when narCONon tells them initially, but the number of cases demonstrating that narCONon is far more harmful than drinking / taking drugs should catch the interest of juries.

I know of a young man in Oklahoma that went in as a alcoholic and came out a crack addict. He took his own life earlier this year.
  5. anon walker Moderator

Okay, you wanna nitpick, he was an alcoholic. However, the argument that an alcoholic would lie to get out of treatment is just as valid as plugging in 'junkie.'

I'm not suggesting either as a valid argument.

It was more that I wanted to point out that he went from being an alcoholic (which isn't good) to being a drug addict (that's gotta be worse) to being dead. The last two steps encountered because narCONon swindled the court.

I agree violently that the arguments for taking the word of narCONon over the word of the victim are all flawed.

Well, to be accurate, he went from an alcoholic to an experimenter to dead. He bypassed the junkie stage. Didn't live long enough to get addicted.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Terrible. Just plain terrible.
This is yet another Narconon related death, even if it didn't happen at the facility.
The authorities should be contacted about this. At the very least you should send them your friend's story Anonymously. It can certainly further help the closing of this hell of a facility.
Or perhaps contact David Love or Patriot. Somebody needs to forward this story to the right people.

so this wellness check and it's findings should be on a police log or file? And the fact she wanted to leave?
And can this info be forwarded to Oklahoma? David? Patriot?

always makes my day to hear someone else got out. :)
Again, I hope this info of the wellness check and the fact that she wanted to ESCAPE but couldn't, should be shared with Oklahoma Dept of Mental Health? OR whomever is responsible for closing them down.
Blows my mind that people pay to go there for help and then they have to "escape".
Hello? who is not paying attention?

    Today is Dec 31st.
Not a very Happy New Year for any patients within any of Narconon's walls.

  18. Was in Narconon Colorado. I am a registered nurse and have a medical background. My alcoholism was NEVER addressed. I was instructed in Scientology from the very start of my stay. These were a bunch of moronic people who have NO actual training in anything. I went to Catholic school for 8 years and attribute this for me seeing the ridiculousness of it all. I went threw the basic indoctrination and then the absurd sauna and niacin regimen. Both of which will only cause you GREAT DISCOMFORT. No one there knows WHAT they are doing... After I had had it, I escaped out of my bedroom window and walked to Fort Collins. Ha Ha, they followed me and took me back to their prison. They then called my husband and said they could not handle me. They took me to the airport and sent me back home. I was intent on getting our $39.000 back and wrote a note threatening them with a lawsuit. They backed down and sent my money back. I can't blame it on the people who are there running it. They are ALL BRAINWASHED. This whole scheme needs to be looked into by our government. They don't even have to pay taxes and they have NOTHING to do with being a RELIGIOUS entity.

Glad you got out in one piece.

The organisation needs to be stopped so that the people, well meaning or otherwise, stop hurting the paying customers. The state needs input to make that happen... What would be very interesting woud be if you had input regarding cross-state nature of misrepresentations and / or seemingly independent front organisations recommending narCONon and denying links to the criminal organisation known as the "church" of $cientology. This is a network of corporations put in place so as to make money from breaking the law (while endangering people).

Information is what it's going to take to make them stop. (Yeah, I know, you're not my private army, but many small streams make a great river - or something :) ). specialises in narCONon

    Hi Susan,

There are a number of civil lawsuits against Narconon happening at the moment. Please consider helping by sharing what information you can. Visit

  22. Narconon is very evil! They are connected to Scientologists, which are liars! I'm sure Tom Cruise knows everything about it.

So glad you got out Susan. If that is your real name, you may want to consider not using it.
They are a ruthless cult. Please take caution.

Narconon Vista Bay AKA Watsonville AKA Halcyon still "employs" the same staff as when I was there in 2011 according to those I know or are "friends" with on FB. This place was awful, deceptive, and lied from the get go. Even speaking about scientology would get you into the 'ethics' office and you would get punished, for example, 2 days raking a beach volleyball court for 2 days in 90 degree weather. So ridiculous

Awful! I wonder if it's the same across them all.
