HOW TO: Forum Signature Visual tutorial on how to create a signature for your profile. Note that signatures cannot have image files on WWP nor can they be bigger than a size "4" type. Forum default is size type "2." Open your User Control Panel Select Edit Signature Type text and click on PREVIEW SIGNATURE button to see how it looks There you go - pretty boring - needs a little moar Using your mouse, highlight your text and select the BOLD icon Then click the COLOR icon drop down arrow and choose a colour - click on PREVIEW Much better Increase the font if you like and centre it too Change it to a different size/colour by just changing the html - it's easier than starting all over - now click SAVE SIGNATURE if you feel you're done To load a hotlink (point text to a website/page), highlight the words (or the whole sig if you want) and click on the GLOBE icon A box pops up Put the website or webpage's URL in the box (make sure you remove the "http" that's already in there) and click OK PREVIEW again - You'll notice the colour changed to light blue (can't see it too well in my example - oops) Highlight the same text again and choose a different colour for impact or just match to the rest of your sig - make sure you click SAVE SIGNATURE when you're done Here's what your new signature looks like Your signature can be used for many things - link to your website, link to an Anon website, a personal message that you feel represents you, or use it to attack Scientologists to keep them from lurking and posting on WWP. Re: HOW TO: Forum Signature If your sig is too big and annoying, mods might get annoyed and mess with your signature, or you might get a polite PM saying "please make your signature smaller". Also what rof said.
