Hitler Youth? I don't know how many people have learned about the Hitler Youth, but in it's simplicity it was a mini army made of children that disconnected children from their families even within the Nazi ranks in order to train them up to be loyal Nazi's. With DM's Niece's story, it sounds as though her parents were always apart from her because of other tasks, but are their any specific child organizations amongst the CoS that would be similar?
CoS is worse. Hitler Youth was just a program that if you were in it, you didn't really think much of it. Basically, it was like boy scouts or girl scouts. Only when history had its course did it gain its notoriety. It was actually there to try to improve German youth. CoS, however, takes away education, forces child labor, and ruins lives.
I was going to quote this case, I have heard about the experiment but have never seen it because I never knew its name or even if it was more than a Myth. Hopefully I can track it down, interesting stuff.
