I agree with Andy Newman. I LOVE L.A! And the protestors there. That whole Hollywood un-reality is completely insync with Scientology un-reality: here we stood a block away from Hollywood and Vine, protesting at the HGB Building, and the place was teeming with tourists. Security guard Andy comes out and shows everyone how a Real Church rolls: After some minutes of enturbulating, someone at the front desk adorned the counter with a huge coffee table book featuring the ugly mug of LRH, as in, "Save Us, Hubtard!" Across the street from the HGB, the cult carefully doesn't mention the word "Scientology," whilst fronting a pro-literacy campaign. Hey, does anyone have Great Illustrated Classics version of Bare-Faced Messiah? (For some reason, a couple sitting near the bookstore was having a flash "Garage" book sale, leaning kids' books against the window, making everyone confuse them with Scientology lit. It didn't see them sell one): Eventually, we moved on to: (see below)
Woo hoo! The Infamous Sign! We lol'd that it kept flashing: "Everyone Welcome"! Even SPs? o hai, Sea Org! at least the weather is better in L.A. than in Clearwater...
My videographer was getting a sandwich -- so this is blurry and weird. But the important part is the audio, anyway:
Again, the quality is kind of sh** but it's pretty interesting audio: a paying public (?) comes outside, and asks about the "Katie Ran, and So Can you!" sign. Then another guy comes out and trolls us about the camera. He was holding a "Join staff!" pamphlet.
soooo, this was from June 2012 I believe, but Hombre just uploaded it. different day, but same place, and same thread, for convenience's sake :
