    Halifax, NS - October 31st 2009 -

As there are no objections we will be raiding on October 31st 2009 in front of the Scientology Mission on Dutch Village Road.

As usual in the afternoon, I presume. We should probably pick an actual time though. I vote we try to be there by lunch.

    MOD EDIT

I'VE CHANGED THE TITLE AT THE REQUEST OF THE HALIFAGS TO REFLECT THE CHOSEN DATE, OCTOBER 31ST

I'll buy a cake if you guys bring forks. I need a date, though, so I can be sure to book it off work. I'll go out on a limb and assume they're open on Sundays. We should definitely do it on a day that they're open.

    How about the 18th?

    re: Halifax, NS - October 31st 2009 -

I'd like to protest when they're open too, however last we checked they aren't officially open on the weekends at all anymore. :(

Thing is, when they're not there we're free to put up our stuff. And also stuff like one of their low levels punching a protester can happen on a day they're 'closed' too.

We should try and convince a certain someone to bring the e-meter next time.

Church isn't open on Sunday? Fuck. Well for obvious reasons, I won't be available for weekday protests. I propose the 17th or the 18th (preferably the 17th now that I know Sundays aren't much better).

halloween raid for sure. we can have tons of fun with that.

    it's on a saturday.

Halloween does seem a bit more attractive to me too.

    You around that weekend AnonOne?

I think I'll be out of town the weekends before halloween unfortunately.

Fuck yes, I hadn't even considered Halloween. Shall we do it at night, and afterward we can go trick or treating? xD

Allow me to think out loud...A night raid would be kinda cool, except the fact we wouldn't have many people driving by, and given the lack of houses, no trick or treaters.. But we could actually go door to do spreading the message, giving out fliers, cards, etc. if you guys wanted to. Personally, that isn't my cup of tea, we'd be like some Jehovah's Witnesses or something lol.

Well that's my brain storm. You guys decide, I'll be there regardless.

I'd like to do halloween in the afternoon.

And I think I'm with you on the not going door to door :p (as in, not doing it) ;)

So I'll put forward a motion now,

Saturday Oct 31st in the afternoon?

    Any opposed to this?

We should probably talk theme too. Calling attention to the assault at the last protest will be essential, we'll need new signs.

Everyone remember your protective gear and signs saying "Please don't hit me... again."

I'd like to suggest we change up our troll game a little bit too.

I think it's time we bring back out the e-meter.

    Would it's owner consider it?

I've envisioned setting up our own stress test table for quite some time now.

    re: Halifax, NS - October 31st 2009 -

That would actually be incredible. Is it ilegal to pose as scilons? Because I bet we could have buttons to pin to our suits with the Scientology insignia branded on it and give stress tests in our Guy Fawkes masks.

    re: Halifax, NS - October 31st 2009 -

I don't think we should pose as them but I've asked the anon with the e-meter and it says it's willing to bring it.

Seems no one is opposed to the Oct 31st date for the raid?

if that's the case I'll /r/ that mods fix our thread title for us. :D

Also, should we go with a theme?

    lol embed fail^^

I will however dance to your selection just the same.

    Re: Halifax, NS - October 31st 2009 -

Just a halloween theme should suffice. Black shirts, orange ties, clown wigs, etc.

If any halifags have some wicked artistic ability, I would very much like to see a pumpkin carved out as a guy fawkes mask. That would be epic.

    lol

hmmm... maybe Sol Mann knows someone he can ask for teh pumpkin? My slice and dice abilities are pretty bad.

I've got a suit and wig I can wear... no black shirt or orange tie tho.

Personally, I've always preferred the red tie. ;)

November is undecided, however I can confidently say the December protest will most likely be Global, and on the 5th. Obvious reasons, if you know who Lisa MacPherson is.
