ow full of cancer Chanology is.

Sure, Anonymous may not have done it, but let it be known that if they find the guy who did, we'll buy them a drink.[/QUOTE]

Let the record show it was an anonymous hacker who did this, and not an Anonymous.

Heh, cute. Anyways, yes, let us hope it was an insider.

Oh my, such terrible thangs happen in the world. What evil lurks in the hearts of man, what about the children?
  8. Re: hacker attack on www.scientology-europe.org

Malignant moralfaggotry is the reason Chanology has become a joke to the rest of Anon.

It's the reason the scilons are getting braver and breaking out the slappy-tech.

We need more of this sort of thing to put the fear of Xenu back into them, and regain enough credibility to have more than the now handful of people who are attending raids.

Who's to say we will ever know who the culprit is? It shouldn't even matter past the lulz delivered.
Chances are it was done by somebody who had the sense to cover their tracks, and not get lazy about the details.

    Re: hacker attack on www.scientology-europe.org

Lulzy though it may well be, it was this sort of thing which spawned chanology, but when chanology began, the illegal internet vandalism ended. It is perfectly ok if you want to enjoy the fruit of someone elses victimless (yes still criminal) disobedience but you cannot claim that this is what chanology is supposed to be condoning or what chanology should be doing as a matter of policy. The long term disadvantages far outweigh the short term giggles. I suppose one could also say that no matter what stance you take, for better or for worse, there will always be some that will associate an anonymous misdeed with chanology, but that is no reason to just hang the sense of it and roll with the lowest common demoninator. There are still too many people that just don't get it, you know, the idea that "anonymous" in general is just people on the internets.

not a factual error at all.
The source of the hacked page said:
    Code:
    <!-- We are Anonymous.
    We are legion.
    We do not forgive.
    We do not forget.
    Expect us.
    -->

well, if it was an inside job - it might as well be OSA trying to drum up drama, wouldn't be the first time they did stuff to themselves to frame others

if it was EBAUMSWORLD then meh - its par for the course i guess

    Re: hacker attack on www.scientology-europe.org

Only if you get caught is it illegal. If no one gets caught then it was epic LULZ.

That shit brings back memories of the old days when we used to do shit like that to the website of a clan we where about to have a tournament with. No one ever got arrested for that shit, and if you couldn't laugh it off then you are a punk ass bitch, and need to grow thicker skin.

I always hated it when they did that. We started to make secret Google groups so that we could hide it but people would double agent and mess that up too.

You weren't one of those were you?

    Re: hacker attack on www.scientology-europe.org

Come on you guys, i like a joke as much as the next person,, but hacking is illegal. it's their website so it's their property and they can do what they want with it.

Stuff like this means we're not taken seriously as a mature protest movement. It reflects badly on all of us.

    Not cool guys.
