I just got off the phone with our local (NYC) Embassy, and THEY ARE CLOSED ON Sunday

They operate regular business hours. This is going to be pissing into the wind if this is the case elsewhere.

The important thing is to show video/pics of presence of RallyAnons in front of OZ Consulates/Embassies (or the wall plaques)
The target audience is the OZ Parliament, not Consular staff, especially with this short notice.
Proof of presence is enough, plus petitions.

Some of these embassy locations may be in office buildings and not have 'plaques' to photograph. In those case, suggest making your own 'plaque' and taking a picture alongside the building number. A simple poster saying something like this might work:

City, State, Zip

'We Support You'

Or something like that.

This seems like it will be a lot of fun for people. I think Chanology could use a healthy dose of that. Besides, things are going well at the moment- why not celebrate?

The only hesitation I have here is doing this on Sunday. As others have pointed out, many of the embassies are closed then. Wouldn't this have more of an impact on Saturday? Dunno, just food for thought. Regardless of when it happens I think this is something everyone can get behind and enjoy. Even if this vote on Monday doesn't go the way people are hoping, you still had fun.
