  2. WTF? Tears and injury consistent with use of a weapon (as they are calling it in the article).

Yeah, and the radio host say she reported rape so she wouldn't have to tell her parents she's a slut.

What is wrong with these people?

I've not hear anyone go after he, but I might have missed it. Random if you send me the name of the radio staion I'll have a go at them.

This is the local forum and well its local and people know the kids so its nuts

Everything I hear which makes it a rumor is that these kids are from wealthy families. They may have the best lawyers money can buy. Police need to start nailing people for where all the booze came from and if this kids were actually able to rent a cabin.

3 indicted in after-prom assault case

A Gilmer County grand jury returned indictments against the three former Calhoun High students arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a student at an after-prom party on May 11.
Fields Chapman, Andrew Haynes and Damon Avery Johnson were each indicted on felony charges of aggravated sexual battery and sexual battery. Chapman and Haynes are also accused of one count each of sodomy.
They are accused of being involved in the sexual battery of another high school student at an after-prom party.
They were seniors at Calhoun High School at the time the incident occurred.
According to the Gilmer County Sheriff's Office, the incident took place at an Ellijay cabin that students had rented for a post-prom party on May 10.
The following day, the victim contacted an investigator and said that she was in a hospital and that earlier that morning she had been raped by "multiple guys."
The statement said the student passed out in an upstairs bathroom and was unable to remember who had committed the crime.
Authorities say the party was attended by 20-25 Calhoun High School Students and other young adults.
There is also an alleged second female victim who was subject to sexually explicit images and videos taken with Chapman’s iPhone.
As a result, he is additionally charged with 28 counts of misdemeanor sexual exploitation of children.
The suspects were banned from graduation in May.

Forgiveness? WTF, that is up to the girls to bestow and then only if the perpetrators are man enough to understand what they did and accept the consequences of what they did. It sounds to me that they are going to fight this to the bitter end. I doubt that pastor organised a prayer service for the girls?

My prayers go out to the girls and their families, that they have the strength to see the justice they deserve.

Jeez this is after the chief of police in the town said he had been there 28 years and her injuries were substantial. I don't think he went to the prayer meeting and sounds like this time the cops are not apologists.

It's like the "stranger danger" lessons of my youth where only creeps with trench coats, free candy, or lost puppies touched little kids in the "no-no" place.

Rapists aren't guys who chew with their mouths closed when at the restaurant with their parents. Everyone knows that, duh.
