Re: Freezone+ Anon Thank fuck people finally cottened onto why Terril ever came to Enturb in the first place. I found it extremely hard to stay out of Terril's threads, since I was warned months back about me posting in relation to BB and his sole purposes of even being on the Internet. Im just glad Terril has finally been kicked to the curb because he could no longer hide PR becoming a subject with his attempts to utilize yet another forum to get raw meat and exiting scientologists into Ron's Org and other FZ groups. Now I'll guess I'll wander over to the 'Dome and see if there's a thread where I can call him a parasite.

I analyze the ideas on their own merits, even when it's hard to ignore the intentions of the person asserting them. I don't have to agree with a philosophy to study it, understand its internal consistencies and limitations for what they are, then use that to compare and contrast with other ideas. Sorry for the Godwinism, but should I NOT appreciate the Eisenhower Thruway System because it was modeled after Hitler's Autobahn? Did Hitler make the concept of roads evil because of his development in that subject matter? Hubbard took existing ideas, synthesized them into something else (poorly or well, for better or worse), perhaps along with a few original concepts, and the product has already evolved into something different altogether many times in the last 40 years. How many Anons use the cult's loaded language? Have you found yourself explaining or even THINKING about everyday things in Scientology terms? Scary, but natural. We are learning another frame of reference without subscribing to it, and that's okay. In fact, it's intellectually mature to be able to do that. Look ... I don't care if it's Judaism, Secular Humanism, Born-Again Theology, Taoism, Scientology, or the world according to George Lucas, Osho, or Aleister Crowley. Everything brings new ideas to the table, and old ideas in new ways, and no matter how crazy they (or their authors) might be, they are still often a viable frame of reference in SOME way, even if it conflicts with one's preferential world view. Please don't confuse my active analysis and slight appreciation with adherence or approval.

The ravings of a madman are useful to study if one wishes to know how madmen think, but as for "value," Hubbard is literal excrement. I've read all that crap in a better effort to comprehend the psyche of cultists both present and former, and if it all disappeared from the face of the Earth TOMORROW nothing of value would be lost and there would be a net benefit to the human condition. Anyone who finds "value" in Hubbard's writings beyond what not to do to your mental health needs to pause and reflect.

Terril applies Admnin tech to the letter, which is to do whatever and say whatever it takes to 'safe point' hubbard's mindfuck. It's not that much different to Cof$ and it's true nature.
