can haz highrez/SVG (inkscapefag here) of globe used in flag/logo plox?

The traced logo sucks balls, currently creating vector one from scratch that DOESN'T suck and gives you an easier time changing colors.

Here's a 4-per-sheet flyer I threw together. Kinda wordy. Feedback?

Edit: Small file is small and hard to read. Have a link to my anonyLJ for readable version.

Not a theme for April 12th, but something I've been thinking about for awhile.

I postered my educational institution, but it seems security went around and took down my posters because they mentioned Scientology. It seems they later read and thought more about, but still thought Anonymous was not something with which they wanted to get involved.

So I thought about cooking up some more subversive posters with a less obvious message. Here's a crack at remixing the original 1984 poster:

    hubbard-big-brother.jpg

Other concepts were an official-looking public notice with this sort of wording: "ALL CITIZENS DESIGNATED AS SUPPRESSIVE PERSONS REPORT TO [INSERT CHURCH ADDRESS HERE] FOR CLEARING AND ROUTING TO REHABILITATION PROJECT FORCE." The Anon part comes into it when a "stencil" is sprayed across it with "RECONNECT.ORG" or "XENU.NET."

Another poster might be styled more like a club night announcement but with a more subversive message, "WORLDWIDE MEMETIC IMMUNE RESPONSE TO CORPORATE THEOLOGY" "WE ARE ALL ANONYMOUS" Followed by Anon contact info.

Have been pretty out of touch with Chanology (or whatever it's called now) since the first raid due to RL issues, but popped on and noticed that the April theme is more of an emotional one, reaching out to the members and public in a way that will hopefully tug some heart strings...

So here's a flier I made for the 10th of Feb raid that went down well on that level. It's a bunch of excerpts from the story of a lady called Sabrina, who was born into a Scilon family and was in Sea Org for almost 20 years.

    Considering Scientology - half page.doc

The full/original text of her story can be found at:
Ex So- some insanities from my SO experience - Ex Scientologist Message Board

I've cleaned up some of the spelling and grammar slightly in places, and it may be in UK/AU English - up to you if you want to change that.

I contacted Sabrina herself via the forum linked to above and she was happy to give me extra information and her full approval to use her story on a flier. My username on that forum was "they_must_know" or something along those lines if you'd like to verify that.

Here's an update to my very successful "What's the Big Deal" tri-fold. For best results, have Kinko's print it on glossy paper with the headline and photo on the same end, and then machine-fold it.

What's the big deal about Scientology?

This is one I plan to be handing out on the 12th.

It's pretty basic, nothing super fancy, but for something to be handed out to the masses, I think it does it's job. Plus, there's no need to edit it for individual locations.

When printing them for use for handing out, I print 4 small versions on an A4 sheet and use a guillotine to make them small, about 9.5cm by 13.5cm (or about 4in by 6in I think), so you can fit a couple of hundred in your pocket with ease.

I usually never read much given to me in cards or leaflets unless its small, brief and straight to the point. So I thought I try something, a business card with 4 straight points and a link to this site.

Need more flyers that aren't as color-intensive as the one above. Something that can be viewed in monotone just as well as black and white is good, especially if you want to get a whole bundle printed at the local print shop.

    Re: Flyers, stencils, stickers, etc

I noticed alot of the materials are directed at non-Scientologists.

Has anyone done any work directed at people inside the Church? I think these would be handy.

One of the approaches I was thinking of was to just sow the seeds of doubt. Like a flyer that addressed the dubious future of the Church, and gets members thinking about planning for & securing their own future if the Church does collapse. Something taking a neutral tone on the issues, but gets members thinking about how they'll go on in the outside world - their financial security, social networks, etc.

Aim being to get members to be a little more reluctant to donate.

The website address for excscientologykids is incorrect.
It should be .com, .org will lead you to the new scientology-run website.
Wish I'd noticed before I printed a gazillion of these!
Nevermind - that's what labels are for.

both .com and .org are taking me to the same site...

Here's one that I touched up.

Crap. Do not use that last one. I typed in the wrong address. Xenu.tv goes to a Scientology controled site. I should have typed www. Xenutv .com. Lemme redo it.

This post is to run a test on something.

Also, all these posters are actually mock-ups, and some are based on an idea we had over in the LA thread during march 12th's post game, and some are me just fucking with things. The operation listed is not any kind of sanctioned or even heavily discussed raid. Just the name I (jokingly) tossed out, and stuck with simply for the spacing.

Without further ado, my first real attempts at this stuff:

    AllNight.bmp
    InterHate.bmp
    NightRaid.bmp
    Squirrel.bmp

P.S. Please let me know what you think of these. Be brutally honest, as that is the only way I'll really learn. Thanks!
