After you stood with us in the pissing down rain for hours on end in November I'll come to Sunderland too and repay the favor just link me to the planning thread once you get a date and stuff sorted.

Shamonymous is the after raid party still on?

And Dr. Doyle looking forward to seeing the new postcards after the last ones made such a huge impact!

Look forward to seeing these new postcards. I hope the scions will like them as much as they did the last time.

Some of the Manchester anons are going to London later this month and London anons are coming to Manchester at our protest. Also Manchester anons and London anons will be going to the Birmingham protest in March. Just giving Sunderland anons a heads up. April might be a good month as you could have Manchester anons, London anons and Birmingham anons all available then.

yes, but it should be noted that if anybody wishes to stay over, they will have to leave with me fairly early the next day. anoone responsible for making me miss my bus will be executed in a very painful way.

(both my and heriticas train times depend on it)

OSA Fair-Gamed me beautifully at Christmas (in response to my "postcard campaign" against them. They sent me a Christmas Card written in Irish Gaelic supposedly from "Gerry Adams". I was a member of Sinn Fein for several years and OSA were trying to spook me by letting me know that they can find out anything about my past. I loved the card. I even put it up with all my others.

Thanks bro :D Took me some thinking to make..
The sign's just a bog-standard wooden framed corkboard.. Screwed into the back are two circle-clips, and the wooden pole is a curtain rail.

The circle clips mean I can dismantle it for easier carrying / hiding too.. So yeah :D Win.

I look forward to using it xP

Hey, sorry i couldnt make the last one, this will be my first raid so is there anything i need to know before i start? anything i need to bring (apart from a mask)?

nice to be prepared and hope to see you all on the 13th!
  13. strobe Member

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

Wow. that's actually pretty creative of them. Are you just speculating it was OSA, or do you know?

Good that you can make it.

Apart from the mask, I'd recommend bringing gloves if you have them (and obviously wrapping up warm depending on the weather).

Something to eat and drink, though you can always pop down the road and get something.

Digital camera if you have one (even if you won't be taking photos - just in case).

Maybe some sort of scarf/bandana/alternative mask (incase the other one explodes).

    Pretty much sorted.

    (Oh, and bring teh lulz)

just be aware that the scientologists will try to find out who you are and gather as much info as then can on you. it's unlikely that they will do anything with it.

will look forward to meeting you. depending on your age bring ID so you can join us in the pub afterwards

As for post-raid, there's a good chance I might not be able to stay over meaning me and Animal will be departing at the last train home (11ish). Work still haven't got back to me yet.

Serpent1ne, will be great to have you on board. For first raid the only real essential is a mask, excluding the obvious (warm clothes, food or money for food etc.). Also looking forward to meeting Firestorm, Zibiah, Anonderp and any other newcomers.

And of course, looking forward to see the doc's new postcards, aswell as seeing Neil's triumphant return.

Location: London RESULTS! - President Obama Taking Questions On Youtube

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The vote closed on the 1st of Feb, but the anons did there stuff.

Upon stumbling on this website called Google this morning, I noticed below the search section this:

"President Obama is taking questions on YouTube. Vote for your favorites"

Hopefully this link will take you straight there.

    YouTube - citizentube's Channel http://www.youtube.com/citizentube#p/c/EB843ABAF59735FD

Type into the search "Scientology" and 4 questions at present appear (1 on top of this has been flagged - not sure what it says but I still gave it a thumbs up).

All you need is a Youtube account to vote.

Have voted on my Anon account and about to sign in to my other, I noticed that on a few polls clicking the positive made a fair movement on the poll. Some of these the Scilons presently are winning.

You know what to do guise, it would be a shame given the fact we are the internets to let this potential opportunity pass.

    inb4NYPA

EDIT: Some older Youtube accounts are having issues voting (old one of mine included), you may have to create a new one if this is the case

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

Keeps coming back to me saying voting closed, and telling me to resign in (which I've done several times). Don't know if anyone else has had this problem. Looks like two questions were taken down by author now (totally unpressured and by their own freewill, I'm sure) but we seem to be winning in the other two.

YES AS I MENTIONED THE VOTE / QUESTIONS CLOSED ON THE 1ST OF FEB, it was for info only.

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

I already voted on this. Looking at the questions raised, it seemed Health care was the big issue. At least the questions about Scientology were asked. Maybe next time, we will get an answer.

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

Ordered myself 500 business cards.. They ought to be delivered in the next couple of days now, I'll be handing those out too.

One thing I don't get.. People talk about going to the pub afterwards.. Where I assume people will remove their masks.. So if scilons wanted pix of us wouldn't they just follow us there?

    Seems odd to me.

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

    We're normally careful of that.
  25. Firestorm2408 Member

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

I've got about 100 lying in a drawer myself waiting for the 13th lol!
But 500? damn that may last you through several protests...

and as for the pub thing that is rarther a good point.....
  26. Zibiah Member

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

Well 250 of them were free (not inc. postage, mind you) and then it only cost £3 to throw another 250 into the same order, so I figured I might as well go for it. Got them from VistaPrint if you're wondering. The postage is kinda expensive though.. They're coming from the Netherlands xP

Goods Total Excluding Tax: £2.54 (250 free business cards, £2.54 for an extra 250)
Shipping and Processing pre TAX: £10.20
    Estimated VAT (17.50%): £2.23
    Invoice Total: £14.97

Edit: Oh, and on a rather amusing note I just realised that Scientology is an anagram of Ecology Nits.. Rather fitting don't you think? I do believe I shall put that in my signature now..

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

We are rather carefull about being followed, hence why we've not stated where we go etc. Since I've been going I've not seen anyone follow us etc but it is better to be safe than sorry. Also a few of us get changed into normal clothes etc so it will be harder for the scilons to notice us. I normally bring a pair of "civilian" clothes, cba wearing a suit and robes all day.

Lol, or you could join the darkside for a game of who can give out leaflet, fliers etc to the hottest chick.

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

    For my next raid perhaps....

As for this upcomming raid i'll just be that random newbie anon going round introducing himself, handing out cards and generally trying to have a fun time.

P.S for whenever anybody meets me no I am NOT american but i have devloped quite the accent from my numerous travels over there =]

Fair enough, but dont worry you shall quickly be tainted by the power of the darkside.

Re: February 13th, Manchester, UK (2nd Anniversary Raid)

Post-raid drinks have been a tradition spanning the last two years of protests in Manchester, had no problems afaik, but we're always cautious about such things. And yeah, we never discuss venues online, so they'd have to search Manchester's 12,000 pubs. Unless of course they use their SP-locating OT power - oh wait... no OTs... never mind.

Basically, look for followers, and if you see someone suspicious with a camera in the pub, tell everyone. We're more used to bumping into some randomers, be they annoying football fans or enthusiatic anti-war protesters or just general drunken preachers.

Also undisclosed, stop stealing the newfags before they even get to a raid. We are not protesting Monarch Bedrooms!

Stay on our side, the darker side.

We even have a scientology org on our side, so you know it's pretty grim.

on another note are there any other manc anons with youtube accounts with footage of past raids that i could watch?

Tp be honest, if they really want a photo of you they will probably get it. They have photo's of most of us. The just don't do anything with them because were small fish, and THE CULT CAN'T AFFORD TO PERSUE US BECAUSE THEY ARE LOSING MONEY!!! HA! That's where backhanded and dirty policies get you!

On a lighter note, the darker side is waaaay better than the dark side. we has a flag! we has 2 flags! And a lulz cannon, and ceak!
