I am sure something can be arranged for Sunday. The Celebrity Centre (which will be protested) needs not be the whole thing for Sunday. There is a little shuttle that stops in front of the Celebrity Centre that takes people close to Big Blue, or the Red Line to get to HGB or Long Sign. Only costs $0.25.

Regarding Saturday: I assume we're going to be mostly walking around between the sights in Hollywood, right? Though I think we're going to have to drive or take some form of transport between HGB and Big Blue in the afternoon.

Just thinking ahead so we don't wind up with a transport problem.

There is a subway train within 2 blocks of the HGB that you can take to the Vermont station that puts you 2 blocks away from Big Blue... I'm sure there will be enough anons with cars to give you a ride if you need it ...

But walking that long takes away from valuable protest time, the scilons can easily get to our next location long before us, etc...

I have walked the long distance before because I was being followed and knew to avoid the redline stations...but if you are in the process of protesting rather than leaving, it makes more sense to be a little bit quicker from location to location

Quit fucking bawwwwing about the damn subway. With more then five people involved it is the best way to get around. Jesus just get the $5 day pass. Use the fucking mass transit or bring a bicycle so you can quit bawwwing about not having a car to drive you the 1.5 miles.

If anyone wants another location to protest, TV's fat moonbat Kirstie Alley has her business office 3 blocks from the Big Blue at 1163 N. Kenmore Street.

It's actually a one-level house, white, with brown triangular roof, surrounded by low shrubs and metal gate (typical for the area).

I just went to Enterprise this morning and it was $110/day for 7 seats. My car has 6 anyway.

A smaller car would be about $50.

I have to ask. Why bother driving all the way out to gold? Just for pure tourism?
Try to get arrested outside and make a stink? Protest the ordinance at the courthouse? What's the purpose? I know it's HQ and good attention getting and all but.... Anyway, be prepared to get stopped by the cops on your way in to town just like Smurf and the crew did a year ago. There's a video of it somewhere. Hopefully they throw the anti free speech cache at you and get some great news coverage of how they harass anyone who dares to visit or comment.

Seems odd there are a few posts wondering why anyone would want to go to GOLD a few days before we are going out to GOLD, even though this thread has been up for weeks.

I have been to GOLD several times. It was always fine, and it is funner the more people that are there. Please make it if you can!
