FBI says it has dismantled the leaders of Anonymous....

Maybe the FBI security is already breached, just like the companies and agencies , maybe we decide what they want to see, and believe, cyber ambush. And because of the big ego, they will never be able to accept it. FBI, nothing more then a group of cyberclowns. Hahaha

Heh... the thing that allows Anonymous to functions so well is that it is a hydra with so many small groups that are so loosely and roundabout-ly connected that it is impossible to destroy anything more than a small project at a time... No one understands the connections between the groups of Anon, not even the members themselves. It is as convoluted and tangled as a knot of invisible hair, or the perfectly coded worm that constantly adapts and morphs to fit tampering or changing environments. The very idea that someone understands it well enough to do any damage of any scale is not only laughable, it is impossible by definition.

The best hackers are the ones who's projects are never discovered. Some choose to largely crash sites, or publicly steal data... Many prefer a more behind-the-scenes modus operandi.

...and there would be none of those here, as wwp is for legal and peaceful protest actions only.

    But of course.

Who on earth said anything about doing anything worthwhile on a glorified social public wall, used to make people feel as though they are doing something? I have no doubt that some of you may, or may not, have taken part in an "OP" before, although I believe that the majority of the people that use this site are simply wanting to be able to say; "I worked on that!", even if they only heard about it the day everyone else did. The belief that a free membership to a site makes feel special, is one that I am here to correct. Although it amuses me that people believe that something of the scale I am speaking of could be planned on such a unorganized, and very public forum, I am afraid that that is a erroneous statement. There is no threat to your site or workings here, and you may put your mind to rest.

Hahaha anonymous will never be taken down, the FBI is so stupid.

Being anonymous is a tenuous position. In today's tech society, governments have more access to what we say and do. So far, in most countries being anonymous is tolerated by the government. It may not always be so.

In the United States, the highest court has actually recognized anonymity as a fundamental right. McIntyre v. Ohio Elections Commission, 514 U.S. 334 (1995).

Anonymous and Legality… Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens

As Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens put forth in deciding McIntyre v. Ohio Elections Comm’n 514 U.S. 334, 357 (1995), "Anonymity is a shield from the tyranny of the majority.

It thus exemplifies the purpose behind the Bill of Rights, and of the First Amendment in particular: to protect unpopular individuals from retaliation — and their ideas from suppression — at the hand of an intolerant society.

The right to remain anonymous may be abused when it shields fraudulent conduct. But political speech by its nature will sometimes have unpalatable consequences, and, in general, our society accords greater weight to the value of free speech than to the dangers of its misuse."

You have no rights. - George Carlin

It is a sad thing that George Carlin was right about almost everything he said. It would be a lot better world if he were simply an angry, aging cynic whose words were actually wrong.

hahaha anonymous is like a flock of birds swarming around with no clear direction the one bird flies in a direction and the pack follows. so to say that they have caught the leader is ridiculous then they would have to basically arrest everyone who's ever been on 4shin.

Just think.. if they really did have a couple anons in custody, and theyre just trolling the shit outta them, and they actually took it seriously into thinking they actually had the "leader(s)" of anon.. the convorsation.. I could only imagine.. xD

Saying Anonymous has no leader is untrue. We are all the leader of Anonymous. That is our greatest strength and our greatest weakness.

  27. WELL DONE! That is a good find indeed! The point is that the government uses the shield of justice to break the law and violate the constitutional rights of the citizens. Therefore, the way I see it all is fair in love and war so if breaking the same laws they do uncovers the corruption, why not? In fact it is even justified in this situation because the constitution permits the overthrow of corrupt political figures or government officials. However, they do not have the reasonable suspicion nor the right to spy on random citizens but we have the right to spy on them if they are corrupt.

    Honest services fraud

This is i think the most important law in the US. It is a very vaguely worded anti corruption law. It is vaguely worded on purpose so that ALL forms of corruption can be stopped. Technically, under this law, if a police man buys coffee from a store, while on duty, he is guilty of corruption. That is how all encompassing it is. This is not meant to send people to jail for petty crime, but to send them to jail for forms of corruption that are not really defined. This is the law that sent jack abernoff to jail,

the point i am getting at, is that our politicians, Intelligence directors, AND the internet/phone companies are guilty of breaking this law. Why? because there have been NO thwarted terrorism plots due to prism. This means that government money was given to private companies for a service that did not do what it was meant to do.

But fat chance getting this enforced or seeing anyone held accountable.
  29. Anonylemmi Member

Vague laws are bad. The 'Ends Justify the Means' crowd can abuse them to punish perceived enemies. I would much rather see a few baddies go scott-free than see an innocent sent up the river just for pissing off the wrong bureaucrat.

"It’s easy to sit behind a computer and think you're anonymous and do these illegal types of activity, whether it’s hacking into a company or trading child pornography or buying and selling stolen identities," he said. "But it’s just a matter of time before these criminals make mistakes and we capture them. All it takes is just one time."

I died of laughter right there.

  33. I would say that the government always thinks that they brake up the leadership of any organization that is doing naughty things.....but anon is different its a collective not an organization....diff groups can do what they want...so the government will never be able to stop that.
