If we want the authorities (local & federal) to continue to give us their full support we cannot break the law in any way. OR footbullet an ongoing investigation.

I know the temptation is there, but fair (or not) we are being held to a higher standard. I am not a moralfag, but we need to do things the "right" way for now.

Only half-serious... but I never thought about how it would result in potential physical harm. Damn... my apologies to everyone.

I was thinking of at least one time in many years ago where someone in a small town I used to live in did something like this... burglars were targeting houses that were dark because that meant the owners were gone for the evening. So this one house owner decided to do something like this... using his own house as a burglar-attractor. Everyone else on the street was leaving their house lights on. He simply turned his lights off for a few days one week and waited patiently. Owner ended up giving the local sheriff a nice present.

I was thinking of that long-ago incident when I posted it. Seemed like a cool thing to do at the time. It ended the local crime spree, which was pretty darn nice. (Don't ever mess with pissed off old guys in small towns.)

Now that you guys have pointed out the actual danger to me (DUH!!) I see that old incident in a completely different light.

I now am surprised that the trap setup didn't cause the house owner to be arrested! :-/

My apologies again. Small town traditions must change the way law enforcement happens, or something. Then again, it WAS around 25 years ago.

Wish I'd taken that into account before cluelessly regurgitating the incident in "suggestion" form here. THAT was dumb. I'll mark this post with a "failpost" tag.

I'm sorry but a bad, bad idea. They know I'm leaving for court, that's why I said that. I have made arrangements for someone to be in my apt.

I couldn't hurt another human being without the lives of my children, or my life, being in imment danger. I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

That's what seperates me/us from them, a conscience.I prefer to let the authorities take care of it. Maybe I have to wait a bit longer than I would like, but it's really the best way to go.

You cannot commit criminal acts and your house of cards never falls...they'll get caught.

Indeed, also consider what has been happening to Tommy Gorman in the last weeks (attack on hand, hotel room, tires, vans). The similarities are striking and the footnuke is going to become even bigger.

It's a thorny situation. Can't set traps because if they can prove it was a purposely set trap, you are done for if there is a death or maybe even a wounding involved. However that may be hard to prove for them.

But that said, she is in Ohio (that's well known to the scilons and anyone who knows where Cincinnati is so no doxing here) which is now a castle doctrine state. If they get into her home, she has no duty to retreat and can use deadly force to repel the OSA burglar. I for one hope it doesn't come to this though, because I could see the scilons trying to take an eye for an eye should a death occur.

Every anon in the Tristate area should come here to come here to make the Cincinnati org suffer like it has never suffered before. They won't be able to have a single day without a protest if the OSA keeps this shit up.

Wonder how long it will take the scilons to:

1. Deny he works for them (or ever worked for them), and

2. Get him away from the area.

Anon Alert: All other cities be on the lookout for this person. If he leaves the state, then the FBI can get involved (unlawful flight to avoid prosecution).

And the org he's found at can be raided for harboring a fugitive.

If you got a licence plate, the owner of the car is now involved, for fleeing the scene of a crime.

All in all, the local org is now deep in trouble.

Not advocating violence here either. However, Cloak is correct. The castle doctrine provision went into effect in Ohio on 9/8/08 (last Monday), and does not just apply to homes. It also applies to a person's vehicle.

FIN i'm hoping fingerprint evidence was collected from your car...I don't believe the "cut the brake light wires tech" that LRON wrote included the use of gloves...Sorry I was outta action for a few days...all I can do now is come up with devious thoughts. I once had a thing done to my car to cause my death also...it is INFURIATING...but you foiled those assholes and will continue to do so because you have the most EPIC ARMY watching your back!

NO fingerprints taken. The guy that is pictured tried to run us off the road. I didn't even know about the wires until I got to the shop to get an oil change. By then 4 mechanics had been under there.

That's ok though...someone WILL know this guy. Maybe he's even stupid enough to show up where an Anon will see him. If you do CALL THE COPS.

Did you get the license plate number from the car that tried to run you down? I'm not asking you to post it here, (please don't) but it would be good to know that you a) got the number, and b) provided it to the police.

I did not get the number, nor did the passanger.It happened so quickly, I just had time to react. I've already got a deficiancy in driving due to my disability, my main concern was no one getting killed in a crash.

It's amazing one handed driving, I didn't wreck the car!

FormerlyIN: If you are on a website that disables image downloads, or requires you to log in to save an image, you don't have to jump through hoops or wait around for your registration process to finish. Just take a screenshot. If you are using a PC, it has a handy button. I forget the exact key sequence for Macs, but a quick Google on "how to take a screenshot with a Macintosh" will remind you. (I THINK it's apple + shift + f3, but it's been ten years since I had a Mac.)

Any image you can see online, you can screenshot, and then trim down with the simplest of paint programs (or Photoshop), or you can e-mail it to a trusted Anon to trim down for you. Some online photo hosting services such as Photobucket allow you to tweak images, but I do not know if "crop" is included in the photo manipulation options. I've mostly used online photohosting tools to rotate photos I forgot to rotate them before uploading them.

Another option if you have NO image editing programs or Paint programs available to you, and don't want to bother another Anon, is this: when taking a screenshot, open the link to the page with the image in its own window (to hide other tabs you are looking at), make the window fullscreen to hide your desktop icons and other windows, put your mouse on the top edge of your bottom navigation toolbar then drag your bottom toolbar downwards to temporarily hide it, screenshot our image by hitting the Print Screen or Prnt Scrn button (or screenshot using the correct Macinstosh button combo you Googled to find; you'll hear a "camera shutter" noise if your Mac took a screenshot propeerly and it will pop onto your desktop, I believe), and let a photohost like Flickr resize it down. Then you have the image link you need and can post it for other Anons to ID.

Not certain if you said anything or not, read it a few times, but its late. When you hit Print Screen, you still have to go into an editor and go to Edit menu, paste it to get the picture into the editor and then save it. If you have windows, you have paint. If not, I'm pretty certain you can google and get the file. If you're going to do that, you might as well just get photoshop tho imo

Close the DVD player first and then you can take screenshots. There is a way to get screenshots of DVD's but that is rather out of scope for this this tutorial.
