Egypt's censorship era begins today... if we let it happen

Today, and on the same day of the Chinese new year, news come from Egypt about how they are adopting the ways of China and Iran. A movie was published on YouTube about Muhammed the prophet of Islam, and the point of view in this movie wasn't appealing to many Muslims. Protests happened after an Islamic channel publicized the movie on September 11, 2012 (if not for this channel then the movie would have stayed one of thousands showing similar points of view and not getting a lot of attention). The reaction of the Egyptian authority is what I find appalling. Today, a court ordered the ban of YouTube for a month, in whats the first official decision adopting such censorship measures. It is sad that a government that came to rule after a revolution in which the internet played a crucial role is going to be the first government to apply censorship... but will we let it happen?
