It does look like the US-Egyptian pyramid scheme will fall apart regardless of attempted control by the US government. The citizens want freedom, not looser tyranny.

this is clearly a good sign

Not true. Both get financing. The military gets a lot more though. Like, it's not even close.

PS, I seem to recall TPM either being a right or left wing blog, but that article seems pretty straightforward just listing numbers.

    Herro is laying.

Egyptian people do not get financed by usa. (This is ridiculous)
The eeuu are financing principally Egyptian air forces.
After, after ,a few for army-infantry and policemens.
The same thing all over the world.

    Herro ,herrito...

¿Usa is giving his money to muslims brothers?

    Herro ,herrito...

There are a few of usa commands killing people there...

The same thing in ALL south-america ,center-america and north-america.

    Empire FALLS.

    go down

Fight for DEMOCRACY,herro, and do not lie.

I suspect the US has given Mubarak a few tricks to try appeasing the protesters. Don't see it working, and at this rate it will only be a matter of time before the public anger bubbles over and they start storming the TV station and the palace.

You didn't read the article did you? There's plenty of aid money spent, although the money earmarked for promotion of democratic governance has been grossly misused. Still, hundreds of millions of dollars annually in economic aid is nothing to sneeze at.

PS, I like "herrito." I'm guessing you're a spanish speaker so Herrito would be "little Herro?" I like it.

I know you are and english-speaker cos you speak in english...fine!

Usa and economic aid to egypt people:

    Well.

¿This money was for legalization of segregated political parties? NOOO

¿For the people? Where ,how, when, for what?

In any case is not for prottesters (muslim brothers: the people)

The same problem in spain with eta,in palestina with hamás and in líbano with hezbollá.

They are criminalizated to ilegallizate they.

    DEMOCRACY.

    And not more lies,please...

(I forget in tunez is the same case ...and in etc, etc, et caetera...)

    Breaking News:

Herro tells "acceptable lies" but they aren't actually lies.
They are statements that appear to be false, said to troll someone.

Herro defends the Bridge to Total Freedom.
It is a greater thing than mere "Democracy", you should try it sometime.

al-jazeera reporter on the spot says the army are firing into the air, not at the protesters
  28. Anonymous Member

For those not watching in live – a group of thugs just tried to start a fight with the protesters. The army seemed to scare the thugs away by firing into the air.
  29. cant watch live, im in class thanks for the heads up
  30. Anonymous Member

Chap on AJ reckons that the pro-M thugs are cops trying to stir shit up. That certainly makes sense with the way they charged the protesters in Alexandria.
